There are powers throughout the Universe that even make the mightiest of beings quiver in fear. When a group of Replicators (Nanite based machines that have the sole purpose to consume technology and materials to grow their number), under the command of a Human Form called Sixth manages to break through the barrier between multiverses it finds a planet full of technology and resources at the centre of an advanced galaxy. It finds Coruscant.

The Jedi and the Clones fight valiantly but are unable to defeat the Replicators who continue to spread across the planet, wiping out any organic beings in their path as they continue on their conquest. Millions are dead, millions more are trapped as the majority of the Republic fleet sits in orbit preventing any vessel from leaving. Trying to prevent the spread of the technological menace.

Daniel Jackson, the ascended Human from Earth in the universe Sixth originated caught Sixth leaving their own universe and has went on a quest to recruit various ships and peoples from across the multiverse to come together to try and rid the Star Wars Galaxy of this menace.

TL;DR. Story driven in that the Replicators have invaded the Star Wars Galaxy. An Ascended being known as Daniel has brought together a group of vessels from across the multiverse in order to combat them, and try to protect the Star Wars galaxy.

It's similar to other Roleplays of this type that I've done with one major exception. Our characters know exactly what is going on, where they are and why they're there. They know they will be returned home, at the time they left, once the job is done.

Anyone interested?

Not off the top off my head. I tend to do it on a case by case basis as I quite often end up needing to do some research

>I see. Well I assume the real heavy-hitters like Xeeleeverse stuff, Doctor Who (mostly Gallifreyan or other High Evolutionary/time active civ tech), and Manifold (mostly Downstreamer related ships) are strictly off-limits given how trivial a lot of them would make the Replicators threatwise. Could something on the scale of certain Forerunner or even Culture ships and the like work? Or would those also be too much?

This is a fun concept. I have a few ideas.

Horus Lupercal, commanding the Vengeful Spirit, or if a more benevolent character is desired I would sub in Sanguinius, commanding the Red Tear.

Forerunner I could deal with I don't know anything about Culture. Its important to note Replicators want to integrate more powerful technology so the higher tech the bigger target you put on your back.

I mean the thing you need to remember is these characters have been chosen as a benevolent being thinks they'd do the job well.

Now can characters have alternative agendas? Yes.

>This thread gives a pretty good overview of the Culture in general: forums.spacebattles.com/threads/the-c…

>And unlike a lot of factions I can actually see someone from their society, or a Special Circumstances Agent, being totally on-board with helping to stop the Replicators. Now roleplaying someone from the Culture though, that's another matter entirely.

>Also, I know more about Time Lords than the Culture when it comes to in-depth knowledge, so it may be best if I pick a different faction. Still, the thread remains for reference regardless.

This seems really interesting. A random idea I had for who to play as is the Ark, the Autobot spaceship from Transformers. I would probably have it be that they've left Cybertron but haven't got to Earth yet.

Yeah I am not planning to run a kill-all-xenos-exterminatus-everything sort of Warhammer character. Horus (or Sanguinius) plucked from the apex of the Great Crusade would probably be among the most reasonable and open-minded characters from that era-- when the Imperium was at the height of its power and influence-- who could still bring down a holy reckoning on some evil robots.

That said I'm curious how the "rules" of different universes will interact.

Awesome. I should probably start deciding which Autobots are crewing the Ark, as it changes from story to story.
