Returning to this site after a very long time. Used to be that there were options available for this type of game/story. Seems much more bleak now.

Would anyone be interested in a nation-building roleplay? Specifics TBD— Create a race/species w/ certain attributes, benefits, detriments, advance technologically, take territory, contact each other, trade, fight wars, etc.? I'd be willing to organize if interest exists but don't want to put the effort in for nothing.

If interested, please provide some specifics/details on what the game you'd like to play would look like, or what features would be important to you. I'd personally prefer a group of 3+.

I'm kind of new to nation RP, so I don't know what I'd ask for. One of the things that always made them a little daunting was how large scale they were. I think I'd try one if it was centered around something smaller like say, a bunch of tribes, some guilds, something that lets you get granular enough that you can have a character RP but would still count as a nation RP.

@kkotr would this RP be on this site or elsewhere?

Race; Sqrigs
Appearance; Sqrigs are between 3 1/2' and 4' tall, the majority of their bodies are covered in Red, Reddish-Brown, or Gray fur; with their belly pouch a light beige. They have tiny ears located on the top of their head; under their arms are strong leather flaps which allow them to glide, a furry tail to steer the race while in the air. Their fingers and toes are elongated and strong though lacking the flexibility and range of motion found in humans.

Linguistics; Their speech is devised from cheeps, chirps, and squeels that can be translated into a morse code template though the words are closer to Chinese grammar.

Culture; Sqrigs are a tree people, they connect trees with rope bridges. Homes are built by weaving jungle vines around flexible branches and peel tree bark into long strips layering them above the weaved structure serving as a roof.

I would be interested. I also miss those days, it was loads of fun.
