So I had a few ideas for Digimon roleplays, and was wondering if anyone was interested in any of them.
1: Digimon Survival. You end up in the digital world, and must survive until you can find a way out. You do not automatically get a Digimon partner, and must befriend a Digimon to gain one. You could also find a Digi-Egg and get your partner that way. Just befriending a Digimon doesn't guarantee they will be your partner though, as you have to form a mutually close bond with each other. The goal is to figure out who or what sent you here and why, so you can get back to the human world. For argument's sake, you can choose what you want your Digimon partner to be OOC, and sooner or later they'll end up as such.
2: Digimon Tamers 2.0. Not actually set in Digimon Tamers' world, but some version of the real world where Digimon somehow end up real, just like in Tamers. The world's rules aren't going to necessarily be the same as in Tamers, and this will follow its own storyline.
3: Digimon: Digital Pets. Digimon have started emerging in the human world. Nobody quite knows much about them, because they are all Baby 1 or at most Baby 2 level. Somehow, society decides to adopt these "helpless" creatures, but this leads to disaster, as now they have human energy to feed off of. It isn't long before they start digivolving into Child/Rookie level and even Adult/Champion level, and cause destruction.
You, however, don't just have a Digimon, you have a Digivice. It turns out that human belief can alter the Digimon, enough to actually turn them into monsters rampaging through society when the Digimon digivolves from human energy, but you recognized your Digimon as an intelligent creature, or maybe you just believed they were intelligent and since they fed on your energy, it became true. Now you have to navigate a delicate situation where Digimon are being hunted by humans while also figuring out how they got here in the first place so you can stop the destruction and violence.

Notes:
- I am willing to admit I don't have hard plot lines in mind for any of these. I'm willing to take advice on the plot from those that join. Heck, if anyone is willing, I'd even accept some Co-Gms.
- I don't mind cursing, but keep it reasonable IC. An 8 year old probably isn't going to curse much, even if they actually know the words somehow.
- I don't mind the original Japanese terminology, but make sure it isn't confusing. For example, in Japanese, Ultimate is Perfect level, and the Mega level is the Ultimate level. Unfortunately that's how things ended up, so it's probably best to specify which one you are talking about. We can even justify this as in universe language differences, so seriously, don't be afraid to use the original Japanese terms and names if that is more to your liking.
- You will control both a human and a Digimon character, but on the survival idea, you will have to wait to use your Digimon character until I give the okay, and even then, you won't have them as a partner right away, as previously stated.
- The Digital Pets idea is one I actually tried on a different site once before, but it didn't get far. If that is the idea people want, then I am definitely going to need to make it a more collaborative group effort on the plot to avoid the same fate.
- I'm willing to modify these ideas if people would prefer something similar but different. Like if you actually want to play a reboot of Digimon Tamers with the same world rules, then I'd be willing to consider that instead of it being a new version of our real world. Or maybe you'd want to play the survival idea but getting your Digimon partners sooner than later, which I'd also be willing to consider.
- Feedback is welcome. I'm old and mature enough to handle negative feedback if that is what you have. Can't get better if I don't know what I did wrong.
