Danny and Tatl

Danny and Tatl didn't notice Angemon leaving. They just sat in their little fort for the time being. Tatl sat in Danny's jacket pocket again, and rested her head on Danny. Before too long, she had fallen asleep. Danny carefully opened up the fort, returned the couch cushions, picked up his duffle bag, and made his way back to the group. That's when he noticed the lone dinosaur Digimon, an Agumon, if he remembered correctly what Tatl told him about the other Digimon on the walk there, and the lack of Angemon. He also noticed the small winged purple Digimon, Tsukaimon, he thinks Tatl told him, picking on the Agumon.

Hmm. This could be bad. Hopefully I don't wake Tatl. Danny thought to himself. He walked over to the Agumon and Tsukaimon. "Hey. Is that any way to treat others?" Danny quickly scolded the purple Digimon. Before they could respond, he motioned for the Agumon to follow, calmly said "Come on, let's go find your partner" and whether or not the Agumon followed, Danny walked away to go explore for the teen. But before they went down any path specifically, Danny saw a sword hanging on the walls, and grabbed it, figuring an actual sharpened sword might be useful in self defense.

Danny and Tatl

Danny was getting creeped out by Angemon. Something was off-putting about him, but it could still just be paranoia. Tatl seemed to sense this, and whispered in Danny's ear. "If you want to leave, I can make up an excuse."

"We should stay with the group for now." Danny whispered back.

"You're clearly uncomfortable. Let me help."

"It's fine."

"It's not fine."

"Tatl it's-"

Angemon started walking towards them, and spoke once more. Danny did not like how he said sustenance. Was the food poisoned? I'll have to ask Tatl if it seemed off. Danny thought to himself.

"We're fine for now." Tatl answered.

"Yes, that's correct." Danny answered Angemon's question about the prior events.

Angemon started asking more questions. Danny was probably being paranoid still, but it almost sounded like Angemon was not pleased with humans. Does he think we are all negative emotions, or does he mean we would be filled with negativity under the rule of the Demon Lords? Danny pondered.

"I'm not sure if I'm best suited to talk about our world at large. Humans are well varied in culture. Heck, even in digital places online we have different cultures compared to in person. Even in simple different friend groups, the same human can be different because of different expectations of how one should behave. But I really am not an expert on the matter." Danny tried answering. "Oh, but in terms of the environment, I assume it is as varied as it is here. Well maybe a bit less. Things would be bound to look familiar, though likely arranged different, if you went there."

This time Angemon addressed Tatl. Tatl looked worried for a moment. "Of course. And thank you." Tatl answered back.

"Tatl, what is he talking about." Danny asked. "Who is this mutual acquaintance? And why would the records be something to worry about?"

Tatl's wings dimmed. A lot. More than Danny's seen them do so. "I... I..." Tatl shook her head. She looked ready to bolt.

Danny just raised his hand and placed it gently on her head. "You're my friend, Tatl. That's not changing any time soon. You'll tell me when you're ready."

Tatl flew in front of Danny and hugged him. She then flew to make leveled eye contact. "I," she looked away, "used to be bad. I don't want to say more right now." Tatl flew under Danny's jacket.

Danny turned to Angemon. "You'll have to excuse us." Danny walked towards the sofas, which he took the cushions from, and set up a small enclosure in, placing one final cushion on top after stepping inside, and leaving a small hole for air in the top. He left his crossbody bag on him, but set down his duffle bag outside the enclosure.

Tatl came out to see what was going on. "Danny, what are we doing? Why are we surrounded by couch cushions?"

"This is something my mom did for me when I had nightmares as a small child. She would make a fort out of couch cushions, pillows, and blankets. It made me feel like I wasn't so insignificant. So we're going to stay in this fort for now until you feel better."

Tatl simply giggled, her wings brightening almost back to normal. "Thank you Danny."
Danny and Tatl

Danny cradled Tatl in his arms. I should have done more. Danny thought to himself. He was so focused on Tatl that he was startled by the sudden announcement from Andrew Starling.

"Well okay then. I'm Daniel Pender, but I go by Danny. I practice and compete in weapons based martial arts." Danny paused for a brief moment to look at Tatl. "Hey Tatl. Do you want to introduce yourself?" Danny asked her.

"Might as well." Tatl sat up on Danny's arms, her legs hanging off of them. As she did so, her wings dimmed a little, as she didn't like the spotlight on her. "I'm Tinkermon, but everyone calls me Tatl Tael, T-a-t-l space T-a-e-l. Though Danny just calls me Tatl for short."

Danny wasn't sure, but he thought he noticed a pattern with Tatl's wings' brightness. He decided to test this out. "Alright, someone else's turn now." Danny motioned for them to continue, then turned slightly to hide Tatl a bit from view. "I'm sorry for putting you on the spot." Danny whispered to Tatl.

Tatl smiled, leaned over, and hugged Danny's arm. As she did so, her wings brightened again, confirming Danny's suspicion that the brightness was tied to her emotions. "It's okay Danny. You don't need to apologize for that."

Danny carefully pressed his hand on Tatl, to return the hug, and smiled back.

At the Mansion

Danny didn't care for the walk to the mansion. Not because he couldn't handle it, but well... "Are we there yet?" Tatl asked, poking her head out of Danny's jacket pocket.

"No." He answered. She ducked back in.

A few minutes passed by, and this repeated. Again and again.

Danny couldn't blame her. She didn't really seem to like talking to or around the other Digimon, especially Elecmon and Renamon, so she was probably bored.

When they finally got there, Danny was glad the walk was over. "We're here, Tatl."

"Finally!" Tatl flew out of Danny's pocket and looked around the mansion, before flying back to Danny when Angemon came out. She sat on Danny's shoulder this time.

Danny listened to Angemon. For some reason, he didn't trust the Digimon. Maybe he was just being paranoid, but at the end of the day, he couldn't really do anything about it, and so decided to just relax. He walked over to the table, and ate some of the food, and drank some of the milk. Tatl sat on the table next to his plate and joined in eating and drinking. After eating, Danny decided to move further from the group, and look in his crossbody bag. Abby seemed to be okay.

"What's that?" Tatl asked, looking in the bag out of curiosity.

"A doll my mom owned." Danny answered.

"What's a mom? And can I see it?" Tatl made a puzzled face before reaching for the doll.

"No!" Danny whisper yelled, quickly closing the bag. Tatl looked hurt. "I'm sorry. It's just this doll is very important to me. I don't let anyone touch her. As for a mom, a mom is a type of parent, a usually fully grown human that takes care of one or more young humans. I'm not sure if I can easily explain it if you don't have those here."

Tatl thought about it for a moment, when she looked over at Renamon, and something seemed to click in her mind. "Oh, like the guardians of the Viximons that chased m-. Um. Nevermind." Tatl looked away and ducked into Danny's jacket like she had done when they first met, ashamed of what she had done, and not wanting to talk about that.

"I'm going to assume this is like your scar, and you don't want to talk about it." Tatl didn't answer. "Well. Whatever it is, you don't have to talk about it until you're ready."

Tatl came back out, flew up, and hugged Danny around the neck, still not really meeting his gaze. "Thank you."

Danny returned the hug by gently placing his hand around her. "Of course. Let's go mingle some." Tatl sat back on Danny's shoulder, as he walked back to the group.
Danny and Tatl

"Tatl, wait!" Danny ran after Tatl, looking over the Digivice. Maybe there is something in here that will help. Danny thought to himself. He found a section that told him about Tatl. Apparently she used a lot of status effects, mostly poison based ones, which he wasn't sure would help against this behemoth. Danny caught up to Tatl, but nearly got hit in the process as Dorumon sent a Metal Cannon attack past them to protect the others.

"Danny! Stay back! You're gonna get hurt if you get too close!" Tatl scolded Danny. Her wings were dimming as she said this, feeling fear for her new friend. She quickly flew up to Coelamon, and struck him in the eye with her spear. "Speed Nightmare!" She yelled, as her poisoned spear hit Coelamon. The attack seemed to do little more than annoy Coelamon though, who quickly reached to slap her away, so Tatl flapped her wings "Fairy Powder!" unleashing her powder at him. She hoped the powder would at least irritate his eye enough to let her get away, but before she could even see if it had an effect, Coelamon succeeded in slapping her towards the ground.

Due to his training, Danny knew it was dumb, but he took his eyes off of Coelamon to devote himself entirely to catching Tatl, so he also did not see if the powder had an effect. He leaped towards Tatl, to catch her, then landed with a roll, to further their distance from Coelamon, ending up close to the teens (Andrew and Joel) that Dorumon saved.

"Ow." Tatl managed to groan, before panicking at being held.

"Hey. It's okay Tatl. I have you. Just rest for a moment. I'm sure the others can finish this." Danny reassured her.

"Thank you." Tatl smiled, and her wings brightened a little.

Danny and Tatl

Danny caught the Digivice and looked it over, and Tatl flew out of her hiding spot to also look it over. Seemed simple enough. Though Danny wasn't sure that Tatl could actually fight. "Hey Tatl, how good are you at fighting?"

"Let me guess, you don't think I can fight because I'm small?" Tatl's cheeks puffed out in anger, with the light of her wings dimming in the process.

"No, of course not. It's just back on Earth, smaller creatures are usually weaker so I'm worried you might get hurt since you're the smallest one here." Danny tried to reason. Tried being the key word there.

"Well I can handle myself just fine! In fact, I bet I could even beat a Champion level Digimon!" Just as Tatl said this Coelamon appeared from the water. Tatl facepalmed. "Me and my big mouth."

Danny looked at Coelamon, then at his shortsword, then looked back at Coelamon, and figured he would not be able to help with it, quickly stowing it in the duffle bag. "Well, let's try this out." Danny focused on the Digivice, pointing it at Tatl. Please be safe. Danny thought to himself. A single white bar appeared for a brief moment, before disappearing just as quickly as it came.

Tatl felt energy for a fraction of a moment. "Whatever you did try it again." Tatl's wings brightened.

"Okay, here goes round 2." Danny tried the same thing, but nothing happened this time. "Well I'm out of ideas."

"It's okay Danny. The Digivice thing is new to me too." Tatl placed a hand on Danny's hand. "Us Digimon might be able to handle this as a group." Tatl flew over to Elecmon and Dorumon, arming herself with her spear in the process.
Danny and Tatl

Danny listened closely to who he assumed was the Dorumon that Tatl spoke of. He wasn't quite sure what to make of this, but when he heard the Digimon were being referred to as partners, he looked down at Tatl. "Are you going to be my partner?" Danny asked her.

"Definitely." Tatl responded.

Danny overheard the Cardmon talking to a teen boy whose name he didn't know, and giving him a present. "Hey, where's my present?" Danny joked to Tatl.

"What? Am I not good enough?" Tatl put on her best sad face to tease Danny.

"Oh, um." Danny was panicking. "You're good. Better than good in fact. I mean you're perfect. Or not perfect, not that there is anything wrong with you, but I don't really know you that well so I can't say you are perfect. I'm going to stop talking now."

Tatl let out a giggle. "Calm down Danny. I was just teasing you."

"Oh, right. Of course." Danny looked back at Tatl, when he saw a scar on her stomach. "What happened?" Danny gestured to her stomach.

"I, um." Tatl had her head held down. "I would rather not talk about it." She gripped Danny's jacket tighter.

Danny lightly pressed his arms around Tatl in a hug, hoping the size difference did not make it seem more intimate than he wanted. "That's okay. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." Danny reassured her.

"Thank you." Tatl awkwardly hugged Danny's arms, since she knew from experience that size differences made hugs weird, and wanted to let Danny know she understood the intent.
Danny and Tatl Tael/Tinkermon

Danny noticed the fox creature seemed to be locked in on the fairy, and felt her tense up, pulling his jacket tighter around her. He moved slightly to move her to the far side of his body away from the fox, and kept a close grip on his training shortsword, but eased up when the fox got distracted by Sashia and started being friendly. That's when he overheard the commotion over by the cars.

Tatl Tael saw the Renamon, and was worried a fight was about to break out, when the human moved the part of his body she was hiding on further from the Renamon. Tatl Tael appreciated this. Despite her being rude at first, the human seemed invested in keeping her hidden despite just meeting. They didn't even know each others' names yet.

Danny eyed the angry teen carefully, noticing him beat up this Pulsemon. He's going to be trouble. Danny thought to himself. As the violent teen made his way to the approaching monsters, Danny wondered if he should step in and say something, but remembered the fairy in his jacket. She could be hurt if things escalated, but he couldn't let the teen hurt these creatures either.

Tatl Tael noticed the human looking worried, making glances at her and the other Digimon. She decided to speak up, and tugged the jacket. The human looked straight towards her. "Don't worry about him hurting us Digimon." She whispered.

"Digimon?" He asked, confused.

"Digital monsters. Long story short, because Dorumon will explain it anyways, we exist in the digital world, which is comprised of data from your world. Based off of what I saw of that boy, the only one who will get hurt is him if he keeps this up."

"Then shouldn't I do something about that? If he'll get hurt that is?" The human asked, worriedly.

"They won't need to actually hurt him. They can probably restrain him if need be." Tatl Tael answered. "By the way, I'm Tinkermon, but everyone calls me Tatl Tael, T-a-t-l space T-a-e-l." She added, deciding she could trust him enough to introduce herself to him.

"Well hello there Tatl. Is it okay if I just call you Tatl? Anyways, I'm Daniel Pender, but I prefer to go by Danny." Danny responded.

"You can just call me Tatl. I don't mind. And hello Danny." Tatl decided she was going to pick this human to be her partner. But decided to let Dorumon explain all that first to the humans. For now, she was just going to watch the show.
I have most of a Digimon line, but I wanted some of your opinions on what should be the Mega.

Baby I/Fresh: Botamon-> Baby II/In-Training: Wanyamon-> Child/Rookie: Koemon-> Adult/Champion: Hanumon-> Perfect/Ultimate: Gokuwmon

Now I have 3 options for the Ultimate/Mega:

The idea for the line is kinda evolution. Like literally evolution. At least at Koemon onward. Monkey with weapon-> Gorilla with weapon who is rumored to ride a cloud (like Sun Wukong)-> Monkey/Man with a weapon who is straight up based on Sun Wukong (which is a Chinese story of a monkey who became a god)-> An actual Chinese God that has a generic human appearance, with a weapon.

I then chose animal like Baby I and Baby II forms without worrying too much on making them conform to the evolution theme, since there aren't that many options for those levels at the end of the day.

Which Mega do you think would work best here?
@Avis Hunter

That looks fine, but first could you add a short description to each of the powers? After that it should be good to go in the character tab.

-----

I'm also still coming up with my character. Might be awhile since I'm not sure what to make right now.
How about Baby II/In-Training?

Baby II/In-Training are intelligent, but more along the lines of young children.
