@ReksewTrebla Just a quick question, are Digimon intelligent as humans in this setting? Just want to be perfectly clear when I work on my character sheets.
By default, yes, it's just human belief can change that if the Digimon feeds on the human's energy.
Unless you meant Baby 1/Fresh level, which are typically like human infants in terms of intelligence.
Just after Sashia finished responding to Danny, the lights went out. Danny figured it must be the storm, so he pulled out his phone and turned on the flashlight.
He noticed the maybe celebrity walking over to several of the doors, trying each of them, but failing to open them. Odd. Danny thought to himself. "Maybe I can pry them open?" Danny reached for his bag to pull out one of the metal training weapons, when he felt something pulling him. Hard. Next thing he knew he was falling and everything was black. Then there was light again.
Danny felt himself fall to the ground, and in one fell swoop, rolled backwards to land in a crouching position, pulling out a random training weapon. In this case, a metal training shortsword. Only he ended up stumbling at the end due to the shock of landing on the ground and not the floor of the ballroom. No amount of training would have prepared him for that.
Danny picked up his phone and turned off the light, then looked around and saw everyone else from the ballroom was here, and they appeared to be in a forest of cars. Danny did a double take at that, but quickly began looking around more.
"Is anyone hurt?" Danny asked the others. It wouldn't be medically ideal, but if he had to, he could sew shut any cuts anyone got if they were bad enough. But fortunately, it seemed nobody was hurt, or at least not badly like that if they were. While scanning their surroundings, Danny notice a bunch of creatures heading their way. "Are those monsters?" Danny asked out loud. It seemed so unreal.
A small fairy rushed towards them. Danny got in a defensive stance, but loosened up when he noticed the fairy seemed panicked.
Tatl Tael/Tinkermon
Tatl Tael was waiting with the other Digimon where Dorumon told them to, when she saw him approaching. She gasped when she saw who was with him. Elecmon. The same Elecmon she once stole baby Digimon from. "What is he doing here?!" She said to herself, then quickly looked for somewhere to hide. That's when she noticed a portal open up and dump a bunch of humons, er, humans, on the ground. Well, we were going to introduce ourselves to them anyways. Tinkermon thought to herself as she panickedly rushed over hoping she could hide with them.
One of them caught her eye. He was holding a weapon, and was in a defensive position, but she noticed him relax when she got closer, so she took a chance and rushed under his jacket.
"Hey! What are you doing?" The human asked.
"Hiding, now don't talk to me." Tatl Tael brashly demanded.
"Excuse me?" The human questioned.
"Oh. Um. Sorry. Please don't talk to me." She meekly corrected herself. "Cause I'm hiding." She added.
"Fair enough." The human turned to face the other Digimon approaching, but didn't get into a defensive stance this time. He still held the weapon though, which she thought was smart. "We might as well see what they have to say." He spoke to the other humans.
Danny felt justified when Sashia confirmed she also did martial arts. "Nice to meet you Sashia Fertar. My name is Daniel Pender, but I go by Danny." Danny made sure to make a mental note of her name. "I also practice martial arts, but weapons based ones. I even compete." Danny said cheerfully. "In fact, I have my training weapons right here." Danny gestured to the duffle bag he was carrying.
Danny instinctively turned slightly to try and hide the crossbody bag. He hoped he wouldn't have to explain his crossbody bag, as he has had people harshly judge him for carrying a doll and sewing kit around. "Maybe we could train together while we're both here?" Danny said to distract from the movement.
"By the way, the food is free here." Danny gestured to the free signs next to the food.
2: I'll still do this if it's wanted, but I'm going to have to make a completely new CS for me to play, since I had thought this wasn't going to happen and made a much better version of it for a different RP, and I don't want to get them confused. Even if I hadn't done that, I'll admit this version was kind of bad. It was my first attempt at making a character for a RP in a decade, and I didn't think to look at other people's characters first to get a feel for this.
So yeah, if anyone still wants to do this, I'll run it, but I'm making a new character for it if I do.
Go to the ballroom? Danny looked the note over. Nothing else was written on it. Why not? Danny thought to himself. He set most of his bags down, save for the small crossbody bag that had Abby and his sewing kit in it, and his duffle bag of training weapons, since he planned on going out afterwards to train.
After getting directions to the ballroom and making his way over there, he saw two redhead teen boys talking, one of whom looked vaguely familiar. Probably a celebrity. Danny thought to himself. He made his way over to the food after noticing it was all labled free, and gathered some fruit to eat.
Danny was wondering if he should join the two boys, but he noticed a blonde hair, blue eyed girl (Sashia) walk in. He wasn't certain, but he felt like she practiced martial arts. Some more muscle than would be expected, senses that seemed to take in every detail quickly, and precise movements. Not a guarantee she did martial arts, but decided it was worth a shot, so he walked over to her. "Hi. I'm Danny. Sorry if this is sudden, but do you practice any martial arts?" Danny smiled, and hoped he wasn't making a fool of himself.
Name: Daniel "Danny" Pender. Age: 17. Physical Description:
Height 5'6. Important items:
The doll is 13 inches tall from top of crown to bottom of shoes, and she used to belong to his mom when she was a kid, so is definitely not in perfect condition. The doll's name is Abby. Other items include his smartphone, a hand sewing kit, and many training weapons (couple examples, a bokken (wooden sword typically shaped like a katana, but could also be in the form of a shorter Japanese sword), and purposely dull versions of bladed weapons) that he uses to practice weapon based martial arts, though usually doesn't go out in public with them unless he is going to a dojo. Short Bio: Danny has been training in weapon based martial arts since he was little, following his mom's own martial arts career. He is at the national level, but doesn't have many people who know of him. Danny's mom got in a car wreck when he was very little, and has been in a coma since then. He tries to do things to feel closer to her, since she wasn't able to be there for him, which is actually what led him to his martial arts career.
When Danny found out about his mom being in a coma, he claimed his mom's doll that was very precious to her and started taking good care of Abby, just so he could feel like he was helping since there really wasn't anything he could do to help at such a young age. His dad was wary at first, but eventually stopped worrying when it became apparent that Danny was actually taking care of Abby.
Nowadays, Danny doesn't have many friends, as he spends most of his free time either training or volunteering. He only came to Hawaii due to his dad's insistence that he take a break and relax for once. He still brought all of his gear though, and of course brought Abby with him. Personality: Danny is very protective of Abby, not letting anyone else touch her. He likes to help people whenever possible, often going out of his way to do so. Despite the cheerful personality he shows, he suffers from depression, often feeling like he doesn't do enough. Skills: He is a weapons martial arts expert. Knows how to sew. Knows how to repair fabric dolls.
Digimon Character Sheet
Name: Tinkermon. Nickname: Tatl Tael (pronounced Tattletale). Danny will shorten it to just Tatl. Age: 27. Physical Description:
Has a scar on her stomach that persists in every form. Height 1'6. Type: Data. Short Bio: Tinkermon was once a duo with Petermon. Day in, day out, kidnapping young Digimon to take to Never-Ever Land. Tinkermon earned the nickname Tatl Tael for usually being the first to tattletale to Petermon when a Digimon broke the rules of Never-Ever Land. Tinkermon was happy with this life. Sure she and Petermon often fought, but they were in love.
One day however, she caught Petermon flirting with a Digimon called "Humon" who apparently was of a "Wendy" variety. Tinkermon had had enough. Heartbroken, Tinkermon broke up with Petermon on the spot.
Petermon, however, did not like this, and swiftly cut Tinkermon in the stomach, nicking her Digicore, thus leaving a persisting scar on her data. She managed to get away, and went through a painful recovery period. She shifted from a Virus type to a Data type in the process, and decided to help others from then on.
Some time later, looking for anyone in need of help, she came across a purple Digimon. He took one look at her, and looked ready for a fight.
Tinkermon would normally not be one to back down, but a nagging gut feeling told her she shouldn't fight, so she held her arms out in surrender.
Tinkermon started by apologizing. She said she wasn't sure if she wronged him before, or if her reputation preceded her, but swore she had changed. She wanted to help Digimon now.
The Digimon looked Tinkermon over, and something seemed to click for him. He asked her if she wanted to help save the entire digital world from the Seven Demon Lords, by forging a bond with a "Humon".
She wasn't sure about this, after her last encounter with one, but supposedly they weren't actually Digimon, and each one was unique in who they were, so she decided to agree to help. Personality: Tinkermon is very possessive of those she cares about. She has moments where she'll be harsh or brash, but is genuinely trying to be a better Digimon. You don't perfectly change overnight, no matter how much you may want to, okay? She tries to help others, but is afraid to open up to others because of her past. She worries she'll be rejected for what she used to do, and is still mentally recovering from the trauma of her bad breakup.
An unusual quirk of her wings' light is that the radiance of the light changes with her mood. If she is experiencing positive emotions, it will brighten, and if she is experiencing negative emotions, it will dim. This isn't enough to meaningfully change the light level, unless she is in otherwise complete darkness, but even then it is a minor change. Powers: Her Special Moves are:
Dragging the opponent into a nightmare with the fast-acting "Speed Nightmare" hallucinogen from her poisoned spear. This hallucinogen isn't effective enough that it constitutes a knockout by itself, doesn't last long enough that the free attacks Tinkermon would get off of a successful Speed Nightmare would invariably result in her victory against other rookie-level Digimon, and isn't reliable against Digimon of a higher level than Tinkermon.
"Nightmare Pandemic" uses the poisonous nails from her gloved hands to paralyze the foe. The more fingers used, the worse the effect. She is able to control the paralyzing effect from just a section to the whole body by increasing the number of nails she stings with. The poison's paralyzing effect is able to render the body (or body part if less is used) numb and clumsy, but not able to completely immobilize, and is unreliable against Digimon of a higher level than Tinkermon.
Also, the "Fairy Powder" scattered from her wings has the ability to temporarily change those it covers into babies, though it doesn't always succeed even against Digimon of the same level, its success rate declines against stronger Digimon or Digimon that have been affected by it recently, and only lasts a few seconds. Future Evolutions: Just going to list the whole line here for convenience: Fresh: Yuramon, In-Training: Budmon, Rookie: Tinkermon, Champion: Hudiemon, Perfect: Lilimon, Mega: Bancho Lilimon, If Abby Doll is given to Bancho Lilimon, she can reach the following form with it. (Yes I stole this idea from Digimon Tamers Impmon to Beelzebumon: Blast Mode): Rosemon: Burst Mode, As a Fusion or maybe something like Omegamon giving his body to Imperialdramon: Fighter Mode to make Paladin Mode: Rafflesimon
Man. I didn't even make it a week without a communication issue.
Let me explain. I'm on the Autism Spectrum Disorder, specifically Asperger Syndrome. I wasn't going for edgy at all, and am now confused. I thought what I put fit in with the troubled pasts I was reading in the other CS's here, just with a little more confirmation on what the events of the troubled pasts were.
Also... I'm more confused on what you mean by team of antagonists. I didn't see anything about that in this thread. I'm really new to this site, like I said, only a week here, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong area?
Anyways, I would greatly appreciate any clarification you can give so I can fix my characters. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience.

Name: Daniel Reap. Age: 19. Physical Description: Down to chest length sandy blonde hair. Blue eyes. 5'6 height. Usually wears hair in a ponytail. Average fitness. Has a curly beard and mustache. Has a horizontal scar on the left side of his neck. Looks like a woman when he shaves his beard and mustache. Important Items: Has a weird blue crystal that he found when he was 10. Has kept it on his person ever since, and believes it is good luck. Short Bio: Got lost in a forest when he was 10. Doesn't remember what happened, but when he woke up, he had a scar on his neck, and was holding the blue crystal. He didn't think much of it, but decided to keep it anyways. Swears it glowed when a school bully tried to hit him and instead slipped in the mud. Has kept it on his person ever since believing it must be good luck.
When Digimon started popping up, he went to adopt one, when the crystal glowed brightly next to a Yuramon. The employee warned him against adopting this Digimon, claiming it was weak and sick, but the Yuramon looked fine to him, and if the crystal was vouching for her, that was good enough for him. Daniel believed Yuramon, who he named Saria, was intelligent, as he left her alone in his room with a video game paused on a level he was struggling to beat, and when he came back, Saria was holding the controller in her mouth and had beaten the level.
One day Saria digivolved into a Budmon, and talked to him. Daniel was certainly not expecting it, but knew she was smart already, and not a lot was known about Digimon. This acceptance he gave her caused her to glow brightly, and a strange handheld device appeared in her place. He frantically searched for Saria, when he heard her talking from the device, calling it a Digivice, and told him how to operate it. With a push of a button, he was able to bring Saria out of the Digivice with another glow.
Strangely, this glow seems very similar to the glow of the blue crystal, but he isn't quite sure why. Personality: Believes he should be kind to others. Tries to help out when he can. Not much of a leader, but when he comes up with a plan, he makes sure it gets followed. Skills: He is great at coming up with plans. Is very great at fighting with weapons. Extra: When he was 10, he ended up in the digital world. He met a Tinkermon there, who got a piece of her Digicore cut off protecting Daniel (more on this in Saria's sheet). He thought she died, so as a defense mechanism, he blocked out the memory. The blue crystal he has is that piece of Tinkermon's Digicore.
Name: Saria Current Species: Budmon Age: Since returning to a Digi-Egg and hatching again, she is only 4 years old. Physical Description: She has a scar on her belly that persists in all forms. Occassionally glitches out for a moment, happening more frequently (but not too much) the farther from the blue crystal she is. Type: Data. Short Bio: Used to be a Virus type Tinkermon. She left the Petermon she had bonded with, because she was tired of being a bad Digimon. One day a human boy showed up in the digital world. She didn't like him calling her cute, so she cut him on the neck with a poisoned claw. Despite being paralyzed for a bit, he found her again, and again, and again. She started to appreciate not being alone though, and let him be.
Some time later, her Petermon found her. Jealous that she had a new boy, he went to attack the boy, but she took the blow instead. Petermon cut off a piece of her Digicore in the process. This would normally be a death sentence, but as Petermon gloated over her, the boy took her spear and stabbed the distracted Petermon in the back, causing the hallucinogenic poison to make Petermon flee the scene. Tinkermon was glad the boy would be okay, but was worried how he would handle her death, when she felt a warm energy coming from the boy. Suddenly, she felt herself returning to a Digi-Egg. 5 years later, she hatched, and found herself in the human world as a Yuramon. She does not remember much of her past life, but remembers the warm energy of the boy.
One day, a boy approached her. She thought he was going to leave her in this prison like all the other humans did, but a familiar crystal glowed on him. She felt better under that glow. He picked her up, and took her home with him, and gave her a name. Saria. And the boy was named Daniel. She didn't know why, but Daniel had the same warm energy she remembered.
As she stayed in his presence, she grew, until she digivolved into a Budmon. She found it possible to talk now. Saria was worried about how Daniel would respond to this, but he accepted her new form and ability to talk immediately. The warm energy surged in her, and suddenly, she was inside a device. Looking the data of the device over, she discovered it was a Digivice, and spoke to Daniel. After a moment, he released her from the device.
Now she feels compelled to help Daniel to the best of her ability, even if she isn't the healthiest Digimon. Personality: Despite being timid and shy due to being sick and rejected so much, she is very protective and possessive of Daniel, and will do whatever she can to help him. Powers: Acid Bubbles: Shoots off slightly acidic bubbles from her mouth. Poisonous Thorns: Fires the thorns on her body which are painful to touch. Can control the thorns to not poison allies who accidentally touch them when interacting with her. Evolutions:Yuramon (Baby 1/Fresh), Budmon (Baby 2/In-Training), Tinkermon (Child/Rookie), Hudiemon (Adult/Champion), Lilimon (Perfect/Ultimate), Bancho Lilimon (Ultimate/Mega), Rosemon: Burst Mode (as a Burst Mode), Rafflesimon (as a secret bonus) Extra: Saria will be a unique Tinkermon in that she is Data instead of Virus type. She absorbs data and human energy slower than a normal Digimon due to her damaged Digicore, and digivolves slower as a result.
