I made a little correction on my intro post (Isabella was at the poop deck and not at the quarter deck as I initially posted) I love how this rp makes me investigate more and more about ships structures and stuff

more additional notes to be added:

-Posting order: We shall wait for every player to post once before the circle starts again. The following order is: 1st Me (cuz I say so), 2nd @Zoie Hart and the rest can post in the order they see fit. The reason for this is because Zoie's character is First Mate, so she represents the Captain's interest and ultimately my own's.

(If you have something against it just say so, you wont be killed just abandoned on a desert island without food nor water lol)

-Characters mentioned on your post: Whenever you interact or simply comment YC's thoughts about other player's character make sure to @ the player at the end of the post, just to make sure we don't overlook a possible interaction. For examle : "Isabella saw Edric carrying some heavy boxes to the port, thinking she may be a hindrance decided to just watch" So I should @ Ducksworth. If the player wants to interact or not is their business

Sorry to be bothering you with so many OOC posts guys, but there are things that have to be solved:

the next additional note is about player's absence, how many days should we wait before we skip the player's post and contiue as if nothing happened?

With co-gm @Zoie hart we thought 1 WEEK is more than enough if we dont have news about the player. But we please ask you to make us know if you can't post within one week, remember we are waiting for your posts so the posting circle starts again

i talked about the discord with the first mate. I am honestly worried we may lose interest on the IC and and focus more on the discord chat. But if you guys are fine with discord then we'll start a group

I am fine with discord. I check discord way more often than I do RPG for conversation

that's why I wanted a bigger ship, I don't think I can get a map but let me make a list

Living and Working Spaces:
Great Cabin: The largest room, used by the captain for dining, entertaining, and navigation.
Officer's Cabins (Staterooms): Private spaces for officers, often doubling as offices.
Crew's Berthing: Sleeping areas for the crew, sometimes in hammocks or dedicated spaces. Boys and girls separated by a courtain
Galley: The ship's kitchen, where meals were prepared.
Gun Deck: Where the ship's cannons were mounted and the crew operated them. Also served as living quarters for many.

Storage and Utility Areas:
Hold: The lowest part of the ship, used for storing cargo, provisions, and other supplies.
Powder Room (Magazine): A secure space for storing gunpowder, often with a separate light room for illumination.
Bread Room: Adjoining the galley, used for storing flour and ship's bread.
Water Storage: Casks or tanks for storing fresh water, typically located low in the ship.
Other Storage: Various lockers and compartments for different types of stores, such as food, tools, and spare parts.
Orlop Deck: A deck below the gun deck, often used for cargo storage and as a work platform.

Other Important Areas:
Forecastle (Fo'c'sle): The raised deck at the front of the ship, often used as sleeping quarters for the crew.
Quarterdeck: A raised deck behind the main mast, where the captain commanded the ship and the ship's colors were kept.
Capstan: A winding machine used for raising and lowering the anchor.
Steering Place: Where the helmsman controlled the ship's direction.

@Ducksworth Oh, no, that was completely my mistake. I guess I read the character sheets but my brain didn't really process. I'll just change the name (better to avoid annoying confusion) and maintain the nationality. Sorry, had to do the CS kind of quickly when I had my computer available.

Yesterday Ducksworth and I talked a lot about the shipts structure and turns out that on frigates the only way to get to the captain's cabin is through the gun deck. We thought to make some changes on the design so...this is more or less how our frigate is built .



also, firgates did not have a Poop Deck but i wanted one
