Personal Outlook: Jacob exudes confidence, and is equally aware of his good looks. He is capable of being quite charming, even coming across as boastful, cocky or arrogant at times and all backed up with a dazzling smile. Of course, like most people who behave like that, it is something of a cover and a front for deep-seated personal insecurities and paranoia. He is an excellent gunner, however, and despite his arrogant and almost shallow exterior, he cares deeply about the rest of the crew, seeing them as a replacement family for the one he never really had.

This is especially evident with his almost gleaming green eyes and tan skin. His most notable feature is that the ring finger on his left hand is missing above the second knuckle.

Personal Outlook: Fast-talking, quick-witted and something of a confidence trickster and 'face man', Milo earned his nickname for being the kind of person who can find anything you need, as long as you don't mind not knowing where it came from. He is a compulsive gambler and a womaniser, and is given to telling stories of his many exploits - though, how many of them could be possibly true is entirely up for debate, but he does seem to - somehow - have a lot of people with grudges against him.

Appearance: Tall for a tank crewman and especially a driver; 6'3". Quite solid and muscular build, though still feminine and curvy. Dusky, honey-coloured skin and almost golden eyes. Black hair, worn short at the back and sides, but with longer, choppy, top. Full lips, has a pierced nose, lip and both ears in several places. Always seems to - somehow - have excellent makeup applied, especially eyeliner and mascara.

She generally doesn't speak a lot, but this is through personal preference - she has had a lot of problems in the past due to crossed words. - Maddy was 'the big experiment' for the Bundeswehr; the first woman accepted to serve on the frontlines in an armoured vehicle squadron.
- Seen as a big success, but the constant scrutiny and being in the spotlight was stressful for her; she just wanted to get on with her career.
- Rough personal relationship and subsequent divorce, along with allegations and rumours from the press forced her out of the limelight, and the Bundeswehr.
- Marriage resulted in Lucy, Her 5-year old (in the present) daughter; but her ex-husband, Marcus, has custody and does not allow Maddy to see her.
- Maddy feels that she was never meant to be a parent, but still loves her daughter and wishes she could make up with her, and this is the source of much of her doubt, anger and uncertainty outside of her professional life.

- Jacob was orphaned as a child; he never knew his parents and they have made no attempt to contact him.
- The orphanage he grew up in was rough, and he had a shitty childhood that lead to numerous problems, especially in later years where he and other kids would drift around the streets to avoid having to go back to the orphanage.
- He ended up falling in with a bad crowd in his teenage years, and after a petty crime turned into something much more serious, he panicked and tried to escape that life, joining the Australian Army.
- He found a sense of belonging in military service, the cameraderie and bonds he made with other people he worked and fought alongside making him feel at home, and he turned out to be an excellent soldier, and especially tank crewman.
- However, his past caught up to him, and he was forced to flee again, this time joining Shattered Steel under (unknown to anyone but him) falsified records
