I have Ridley from Metroid as a character around here somewhere still. Canon characters are fine.

Awesome! And thanks! I usually play Terry from Smash King of Fighters, tbh, but I’ve also been considering Wolverine since he also seems to fit right in with this kinda storyline. Terry’s sheet is always ready if any format can do. Also, there’s no limit to how many characters we can apply, is there?

You can just drop the character sheet in the character tab. No need for approval, it's just to help other players learn a little more about your character.

And then jump into the tavern whenever your ready.

Thank you! Mb, I didn’t subscribe to the thread prior, so I wasn’t notified about your response the other week, but now I’ve subbed.

I’ll drop Terry’s CS some time soon. We can play as many characters as we like, can’t we? Because I’ve been thinking of bringing some of the characters that I otherwise didn’t get to or couldn’t apply for other groups anymore.

Yea, you can bring anyone in and even have a few going at once, I just ask you don't bombard the thread with too many at once. Make sure you leave a bit of room for others ;)
But otherwise yea, its a great place to give some of those character that never quite made it some new life.

Well, they’re actually just indie portrayals of my favorite canon characters, but I haven’t quite fleshed them out yet. And... Eyup! Will do, chief! I don’t think I’d love to annoy others with blocks of posts

Oh, and anyway, I know this might sound silly, but... Do you think comic characters like Wolverine and Spidey would be suitable for the tavern? I mean, I dunno, just wondering...

Yea, the tavern picks up all sorts of people and creatures from all sorts of realities so they would fit in just fine :)

Ah, I see. Aight, cool, then! I’ll drop the sheets ASAP. Probably need to edit some of the stuff a bit, most particularly their story leading up to the tavern. I was actually thinking of going with Terry and Wolverine first, but I guess I’ll just go ahead with Terry and Spidey because I’ve made their sheets earlier for different groups. Can’t wait to join you guys! (^_^)

Aww, cool! Fyi, it’s gonna be Terry first on my part. I’m planning on bringing Spidey after my second or third post here (^_^)

Funnily enough, even though my previous post from today was over a week ago, I had a dream involving your little imp character this morning. At a whim I decided to check and lo and behold you had your reply using the imp character just 10 hours ago.

After reading through your Terry Bogard profile I am excited to see how possible interactions with Knutik go, there is a lot of interesting potential here for interaction and what a cool character! Not to mention with those cool senses of his, Knutik may have a hard time hiding as he usually does around this wolf of a man.

Important note though, I'm not active here every day and neither is Dark Light. One of the third individuals who hopped in a while back seems to have also gone missing @Assallya, but perhaps at some point she'll be back. It's been ages since this place bustled enough for me to stick around as a live roleplay. So at the very least that gives you plenty of time to keep caught up with your other roleplays, so don't worry about missing anything or having to multitask here.

That being said I am indeed still active.

Nice! I’ll give that one a read before I start cooking my first post for Terry (and later, Spidey). I have, in fact, read your recent posts involving Knutik, and I have to say, he seems intriguing. Though, I kinda feel bad for him, knowing that he used to be a god that the people of the old world used to praise and glorify till the modern age changed that for him, is that it? And, oh, it just so happens that Terry used to confront a god in Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture, too (and yes, that’s canon in my book).

I’m glad that you find Terry cool, though. His character and franchise as a whole are underrated, even within the fighting game niche. And don’t worry about not being active all the time. I can understand. Admittedly, I’m not the most present rper around the site, either, but I can always make time to post every now and then, especially when I’m so invested in a storyline. I did think of having Terry approach Knutik since a lot of visitors seem to be gathering around the spot he’s hiding, so yeah, he’d probably see you soon ;)

EDIT: Just read Knutik’s sheet, and damn... I think I like the guy even more. He sounds like the very opposite of both of my characters in a way. One screams love and hope, while the other spite and despair. Both can strike up an interesting conversation, either way. I wonder, though, considering that both Terry and Spidey love to joke around and put on positive exterior, do you think it can (accidentally) weaken your guy a bit?

Both are ok. As you can tell, I’m writing Spidey and Terry from King of Fighters. Both are canons.
