Trying to size images for a post. However, I can't seem to resize images even using BBCode hacks that I've seen utilized here on the forum. I'm stuck between either meticulously resizing and cleaning up images in an editor or leaving it a blurry, all-too-large mess in the post. Is there something I'm missing?

Hmm, good question. Tables and/or quotes might do the trick, but I don't know native functionality off the top of my head that would make that possible.

I tried using tables to do it, a la Roach's guide, but it seems to not have formatted the image down. I'm actually trying to shrink the image in particular, not make it bigger.

Your only options are to manually resize it or trying to break the system with [color=#2e2c2c][/color] with tables. That color code is the color of the reply background, so by making junk lines (use whatever key it doesn't matter) you could possibly force the image to resize. It is a very code dependent hack, though. Tables and the guild's BBCode are extremely finnicky, so I'd personally just try manually or by using a program/site to resize the image first.

Fair enough. I was able to resize the image a fair bit using GIMP so it doesn't flood the screen, hopefully.
