A singular random fact about myself? I really like origami and paper crafting. The biggest project I have completed so far is a giant hanging mobile made of a thousand paper cranes. I chose a thousand specifically because of the Japanese myth that folding a thousand paper cranes grants you a wish and brings you good luck. Each crane is made of a unique paper. Even similar solid color cranes are at least a shade different. I also tried to balance the colors so it is super colorful. I posted a picture below. It's difficult to capture in one picture because there's so much going on lol.

Wow! That is really impressive, and very lovely too. How long did it take you to make them all?

First of all I had to edit my post cause the image is massive I realized and is going to take up space lol so added a hider.

To answer your question, it took me roughly four months of a CRAP ton of folding and then assembling. I didn't work on it everyday, but I would watch TV and crank out cranes till my hands cramped. Lmao I even made some at work sometimes if I was just sitting at my desk.

I don't stop.

I know someone that has a constant burning sensation inside of them at all times.

I know. Was relating. People that go through more shit learn to adapt better.

I finally figured out how to tell that same person how I love them in their German language too. We talked about how it's different in German long ago. I finally figured it out.

"It's like loving the stars themselves, you dont expect a sunset to admire you back"
In German it means: "Es ist wie die Liebe zu den Sternen selbst; man erwartet ja nicht, dass ein Sonnenuntergang einen im Gegenzug bewundert."

I'm going to tell them that as soon as I can. It goes perfectly with something I'm trying to do with them too.

My little sister used to adore me. But I was a grumpy teenager at the time, so I almost always pushed her away. Once I outgrew the grumpiness, my sister had moved on to other people who didn't push her away. There now exists a distance between us that I can't seem to bridge no matter how hard I try.

I fear this could've been my sister and I. She's a really soft spoken and nice person, I was really rude and dismissive of her. I wont lie, I used to yell at her and what not. Thankfully, I grew out of that... I still feel bad for it. I'm extra nice to her now. Not in a tryna soothe my guilt kind of way but a I appreciate how nice of a person she is now way
