Appearance:
Gabriella stands at 5'2". She has wavy, layered dark brown hair- the longest layer sitting just above her elbows. She doesn't really have a typical style for it, her hairstyle of the day more hinges on what she can be bothered doing that day and when it was last washed. She has brown hazel eyes that can look darker in certain settings and light honey skin. Her day to day make-up is typically quite simple- foundation, mascara and natural dark pink lipstick. She'll do a winged eyeliner and neutral eye-shadow on the occasion.

Gabriella has a straighter figure with few curves. In a casual setting, she typically sticks to darker, plainer clothes with pops of colour through jewellery, turtlenecks or long sleeve shirts. She has both of her lobes pierced once. She tends to wear a necklace or 2 rotated through her collection and a lot of rings. She usually sticks to silver jewellery.

Personality:
Everything Gabriella does or says has a marked precision to it, as if she had though through every single option and chose the best. While she doesn't lack warmth or empathy what she does have feels almost strategic rather than out of genuineness. She is hyper observant and seems to notice the tiniest changes and while she might struggle to identify what the shift in your face and body language means she knows when it's different. She is soft-spoken in most settings but when taking charge or talking about something she knows well she has an air about her that demands to be heard. She seems to thrive under pressure and appears calm in the worst crisis. She is very curious and her first instinct is to find answers and learn more- even if it isn;t the best time

Gabriella is very closed and distant emotionally in a way that makes her seem cold. She struggles with being close to people or having an emotional connection, especially her peers. Internally, she doubts herself greatly. She always feels like she could do more or know more. She is so quick to feel responsible for any situation around her and to feel the guilt of its shortcomings. She carries a heavy pressure in everything she does and has a very harsh self-critic that sometimes overflows to judging others. She can be a bit too blunt at times and struggles with discussing emotional topics.

Bio:
Gabriella migrated to America with her parents when she was only 6 months old. Growing up in a close-knit Filipino community and household but in very American social settings she always felt like she was stuck between two worlds. Her mother is a nurse and her father and engineer and they both have always had a good head on their shoulders but Gabriella seemed to have a new level of intelligence altogether.

Gifted is not a new description for Gabriella. She always had an analytical mind, a knack for patterns, lots of questions and a brain that absorbed knowledge like a sponge. She was the kind of intelligent that the Titas and Titos would compare their children to at the handaan. In a community and ethic identity where harmony is a key moral but where there was some form of jealousy or comparison fatigue with most of her cousins Gabriella found herself closer to her older relatives.

Gabriella essentially sped-run school with ease and found herself graduating with her high school diploma at 14 and was quickly identified as an academic prodigy. As someone always drawn to the ancient world, she attended the University of Chicago for a BA in Political Science and Ancient History. Being by far the youngest in her degree and having no real close friends her age Gabriella threw herself into her studies. She joined research projects as an assistant, she overloaded, she did summer semesters. By the end of her BA she had co-authored an undergraduate paper. A perfect storm of dedicated, prodigally young and from a minority background she was approached by multiple universities with offers to do her further education.

At 17 she moved to Cambridge to undertake a MA in Ancient History / Classical Archaeology at Harvard and continued to throw herself into her studies. She worked on a couple of digs and authored her first research article. She graduated her Master's at 20 and continued straight to her PhD. She had written journal articles, ran digs and was lecturing undergraduate classes despite being the same age as most of the students. All she had left to complete her PhD was to complete her dissertation.

The break came 2 months ago. As much as her elders saw her intellect as something of desire they never considered the toll on the girl. Gabriella didn't really have a teenage experience- it was all flung into books and research projects, no real friends or good relationships with people her age and no real breaks. It would be enough to send anyone crazy. She became paranoid, swearing up and down she was being follow an watched, that she was aware of things going bump in the night. Some blamed burnout, some blamed her mind being in constant overdrive, some blamed her lack of anything outside of study but whatever it was she found herself admitted to the psychiatric ward for a psychotic break.

Her awakening came at her first one on one session with the ward's lead psychiatrist. The man she walked in had the figure she swore she had seen following her and lurking around every corner. In that moment she awoke and she knew- the man in front was that figure. A successor of Pallas who'd been awoken. Athena left her one command at the end of her spiel. "Now run". And that's what she did but not at random. She had the ward mentally mapped, she knew where was quietest, how and when the nurses rounded, which one didn't pay quite enough attention and run she did. She was out of the building before the code was called.

She was found by the police hours later in a local library trying to make sense of what had happened. As she was on an involuntary hold they had to take her for reassessment. She begged to go anywhere else and they acquiesced. She was cleared at the alternate facility. She used her break as an excuse for leave from her studies and took up Athena's main request. To find the others like her.

Personality: Rhett is a very laid back guy. He hardly takes anything seriously, and never has been one to do so either. He finds it very easy to talk to and become friends with others, though his laxness can be quite annoying for those who are more serious about things.

Short Bio: Rhett had a mixed upbringing, as an only child. His parents were both alcoholics, and most of the time if he ever hurt himself (which wasn't very often, he felt) his parents would give him a drink to sort it all out. It was no surprise then, that after barely passing school, he used college as an excuse to party. However college wasn't all bad, due to his poor grades and lack of caring about what to do, he took up performing arts, thinking it would be a free, easy pass. However as he did it, he found he enjoyed it so much, to where you could say it was the first time in his life he took something seriously. He'd perform on stage, and then party after the performances, and he loved it so much that when he finished at college, he went to a performing arts university, where he continued living as he did, ignoring silly little things like paying off his student loans, or getting a job so he didn't have to keep freeloading off his parents. It's a wonder why he's one of the blessed ones, and though he certainly felt like he was somehow special, mainly due to his remarkable ability to put on any voice he wanted, so far, he has not gotten himself into a situation where his powers would finally awaken.
