Evan walked over to the girl waving @Birdboy.

"Hey, I you're new with us, right? Someone is passing out fliers. It's for this 'Church of the Ascendant. I got a couple extra for people who didn't want to deal with all that mess." Evan pointed his thumb over his shoulder to the scene of people crowding around Meagan.

"It seems like some evangelical crap, but I don't know if there is much else to do around here. I'm pretty sure classes should be done by the time this thing starts."

@Expendable By the time Mags had finished her introduction, Gary had run off into the crowd around Meagan. Someone walked away from the crowd, having accidentally picked two fliers that were stuck together. He separated one of the fliers, and put it on the front desk then walked away.

"Ugh...men are pigs..." Ruth said to the crowd around Meagan.

"You used to travel with a juggler?" Danny definitely hadn't expected that. He had simply figured that most of the others had come here to avoid trouble with the police, even though he knew from the helicopter ride there were a few exceptions.

William and someone else then talked the state of everything clearly agreeing with Danny's opinion of Maniacles holding out and wanting to save money, though William did point out they at least spent on some form of entertainment. Danny couldn't disagree with him there, a ping pong table and a cheaply furnished lounge were better than nothing.

That said his opinion went down thanks to Meagan's argument with the guard after it was pointed out that Maniacles had trouble keeping up their end of the deal with her. Given Meagan's style of dressing he could see why so many of the guys were suddenly very interested in her fliers but he didn't even bother getting one after she started talking about church. He simply satisfied whatever curiosity he had by reading a flier accepted by someone else.

He didn't believe this Church of the Ascendant had any actual answers about where the "magic" they were supposed to learn came from but it was probably better than sitting around on a Friday night so he did go get a flier for himself after all, in case an invitation was actually needed to get in.

He walked back to the ping pong table and put the folded flier away. "I don't know about you guys but I'm not sure I will ever check that church out. Maybe if I get bored playing with all those wonderful toys provided for us here."

The crowd died down and Meagan seemed to have vanished, along with the mercenary. People were visibly more energized by her brief appearance. People were chatting more now, joking around, and bustling about more.

"So, you guys still want to play ping pong?" Evan asked, after walking back over to the guys.

Gary looked around "Oh man, where did she go? Alright, we can play some ping pong."

The door to the lounge was now propped open by one guy half holding it open and half leaning against it while talking to his friends who were already in the lounge. With the door open, Evan was surprised to see some arcade games, including Mortal Kombat, Pac Man, and Tetris.

"Hey, excuse me, can I get through?" Evan asked. The boys didn't respond.

"Hey, you're standing in the doorway." Gary said, more assertively. The boys moved. Gary turned to the other guys "You all coming?"

"Yeah," Mags sighs. "They are. What's this?"

She unfolds the pamphlet and reads through it. Definitely cult ideas.

"Hey, excuse me," she starts asking people at random, "How do you get ahold of staff? I've just arrived and I've got questions!"

Surely someone changed their sheets. Or maybe they weren't allowed wherever they kept the washing machines. Or were they supposed to use magic for that?

"Let's go check out the cafeteria," she says to Ruth. "Staff'll have to show up to eat."

"So, you guys still want to play ping pong?" Evan asked, after walking back over to the guys.

Gary looked around "Oh man, where did she go? Alright, we can play some ping pong."

"Yeah. Let's play." William said as he stepped up to the table. "So, we've got four of us here. So will we be playing singles while the other two watch or will we be playing dou-" William pause when he noticed Evan walking away. "Hey, where are you going?" William called out. "I though you wanted to pla-" William paused again when he spotted the arcade Evan was walking towards. "Ah. That is where you're going." William said as he moved to follow Evan. "Maybe I've been a bit to hard on Maniacles thus far."

"Hey, excuse me, can I get through?" Evan asked the guys blocking the way.

When the guys didn't respond, William opened his mouth to ask a little louder than Even had. But Gary beat him to it.

"Hey, you're standing in the doorway." Gary said, more assertively. The boys moved. Gary turned to the other guys "You all coming?"

"Right behind you, big guy." William said as he made ready to follow Gary into the arcade.

"So, you guys still want to play ping pong?"

Danny listened as the others discussed the game, not really having anything to add for the most due to a lack of experience with the game. Still he didn't want them to think he wasn't paying attention or anything. "I've never played before so which ever option is the easiest has my pick.""

He was honestly interested in the arcade games but he could always check those out later so he stayed where he was while some of the guys left to check them out.
