New person banned and nuked?

Hello!

One of my friends joined here recently as ‘mayz’, for some reason they are banned and nuked? Do they need to verify an email or something to get rid of that?

I believe this is due to the anti-spam measures taken/reinstated to try and control the bot situation as it was getting pretty bad. Fortunately I also believe it's an easy fix to unban them, @LegendBegins?

That's probably why they got nuked. The mods can turn on an aggressive filter to try combating bots that are creating accounts en masse, but unfortunately some might end up in the crossfire.

Kuro is correct, we enabled an aggressive anti-spam measure and some benign accounts got caught in the crossfire. All should be sorted.
