Blur looked over at Stark and Cap with an idea in mind. He didn't know what had happened to these people or anything, but maybe his plan could help with that. He didn't currently have a comm with him, so he would have to relay the information to Widow, Hawkeye, and Banner through Cap or Stark. "Tony, could you take a diagnostics check of the area and send it to Widow and Hawkeye? If whatever happened here involved electromagnetic fields, then I could make a plasma field to disrupt it. It doesn't seem like the case, but it never hurts to be careful. I'll see if I can get this tube open while you do that." Blur slowly walked in front of the console that led to the Cryo-tube and began to inspect it, slowly pushing several buttons in an attempt to open it up.

Tony nodded and told widow and hawkeye while the captain walked over to him saying "we have to hurry and get this poor soul out of there...who knows how long they've been in there..." Tony ran scans and said "I'm not picking up anything...maybe what caused this is long gone. How's that tank coming?"

"It's on it way, I think I've got it. It's pretty old tech, so nothing too difficult." Blur nodded at Tony as he continued to push buttons, sighing in relief to hear that there wasn't anything in the area that could kill them as of yet. He pressed a few more buttons, and a sound came from the tube. the cold air of the tube was being replaced, and swapped out with warmer air, but because of the temperature of the area, it wasn't that much of a difference. "I got it!"

Tony looked over and said "let's crack this thing open" cap nodded, folding his arms. He hoped that whoever was inside was still alive. The chances were low, but he was a praying man.

Blur waited for the rest of the tube to heat up before doing anything else. It he did it too fast, then the person inside would suffer dearly because of his mistake, and he didn't want that. When the air in the tube finally regulated, Blur pushed down a button on the console, ordering for the tube to open up. As he expected, it did just that, and the tube opened slowly.

The tube opened slowly and once the steam cleared they saw a dark haired woman standing in the tank. She stirred and opened her eyes, her vision blurry and she just saw shapes. She tried to move as she stepped out of the tank, stumbling. As she did. "Where is he....where is red skull....I'm going to kill him..." She swayed, her body not handling the shock yet as her legs buckled.

Blur quickly held his hands out to the woman as he saw him swaying from side to side. He didn't want for her to fall over. Cap looked at the woman as she spoke about the Red Skull, and knew that something was up. She had to have been in that tube for at least fifty years, maybe even longer. "He's gone." Cap answered her question. "I took him out a while ago. What was the date of the last newspaper you read? Did you see any movies recently?" Cap over the amount of time that he'd been in this day and age, had learned more about the modern day, as well as some things from his own time back in the forties.

She looked at the captain, blinking as she held onto blur. "Captain....you..." Then she thought and said "the year is 1940...I don't watch movies...." She swayed again and said "his gone....his finally...gone..." She fell forward, her eyes closing.

Cap nodded at the woman, but stopped and shook his head at her. "The Red Skull is gone, but it isn't 1940. it's two-thousand and fourteen now.. You've been in this tube for seventy-four years." He informed her with a sad tone of voice. "I'm sorry if you had any loved ones, but they're all probably gone now..."

Tony said "cap, that's not really going to help...she needs medical attention..." She looked at them and said "I have always been alone...." She coughed suddenly and fell to her knees, her skin burning up. Tony ran scans and said "guys, we need to get her to banner...now"

Before Cap could respond to Tony, Blur spoke up just after Tony did. "Tony go back the Shield and fill Banner in personally. Cap, take this woman back to the jet and hope that we get back quickly." Cap nodded at him and picked up the woman slowly, following Blur out of the building.

Tony nodded and once they got outside he took off, heading back to the Shield Base. A couple hours later Tony and Banner were working in the lab, Tony walking around as Bruce looked up. "Stark, calm down, I'm sure everything will be fine..."

Widow called Cap and asked "How is our new guest holding?" She was shaking, sweat running down her face.

Stark shook his head at Bruce and looked at him, placing his hands down on a console. "I don't think so. Whatever she caught isn't listed anywhere, and Jarvis doesn't even know what's going on." He sighed and looked down at the console.

Cap looked down at the woman and saw the sweat that she had. He pressed the button on his comm and spoke to Widow. "Not so good. She seemed to have left the tube too fast, but I don't know. She might be having some sort of reaction to leaving the tube." He was following Blur to the jet, and the young man helped the super soldier get situated in the co-pilot's seat. Blur then hopped into the main seat and started up the jet, hoping that he was pressing the right buttons.

Widow cursed and said "just get her here as fast as you can. Stark and banner are looking at her scans now and hopefully they will come up with something"

Banner sighed and looked at the scans again, then his eyes widened and said "it's not a illness....wait a minute I've seen this before" he jumped up and ran over to the smart table, pulling up files and files on DNA information. "Tony, her DNA. It has the X gene....her body isn't failing, it's adapting. The world has changed in the past 70 years....so her body is reacting to those changes. I've run into other mutants where is sort of thing has happened"

Using the jet's comm system, Blur patched himself into the conversation going on between Widow and Cap. "Let's just hope so. She said she never had much of a life or family before, so I hope we can give that to her now." Blur spoke softly just before starting up the jet and heading into the air.

Tony's head snapped up to look at Banner when he mentioned the X-gene. He sighed a little when he had found out that her body wasn't failing. "So she isn't a super soldier like Rogers. Back in the forties, being a mutant was impossibly rare, so it's no surprise that Hydra would take someone like her at the very first chance." Tony pressed a button and linked him to Widow. "Good news Natasha. She isn't dying."

Widow looked at the screen and said " what do you mean she's not dying? Her systems are failing" they were all on the same line now so cap and blur could hear this too. Banner stood up and said "she's a mutant, Natasha, and her mutation is just adjusting to the new surroundings. I've seen this before when I worked with other mutants. We just need to get her to the lab and set up and room for her so she can adjust properly"

"Funny. I never had problems like that when I traveled around, but then again, I hardly ever left New York." Blur muttered to himself as he controlled the jet. He was glad to hear that she wan't dying, but simply adjusting. She'd have to adjust some more when they got back to HQ. "Tony." Blur spoke up again. "You saw her when you were with us. Can you use like some facial recognition stuff so we can identify her or something?" He wasn't even sure that Tony could even do that, but he probably had some sort of technology that could help them lean more about her.

Tony said "I can try. I'll run missing persons from WW2 and see what I can find. How is she doing?" She was turning her head on the mat, breathing hard. Widow looked at Hawkeye who said "I'll get a room ready for our guest." He left and Widow said "Maybe I can look up a records from the war and see what I can find..."

Cap looked at the woman again and sighed. "Guys, I don't think you're going to come up with anything. She might know English, but she was in London, not the U.S. She could have been moved at a young age, and not have any record whatsoever." He honestly didn't think that they'd find anything of her, but he could still be proven wrong, since there were still a few things that he had yet to learn about the modern day.

Tony was searching when the computer beeped and a single name came up. He blinked and banner looked at the screen. " that's a little...odd, don't you think ?" Tony nodded and hit the comm. " guys, we found something but...well, honestly it doesn't make a lot of sense. A name came up....shadow wolf. That's all" widow stopped her search when she heard the name. "Wait, did you say shadow wolf?" Tony nodded and said "ya, why?" Natasha sat down and said "I know who she is..."
