The Yacht group could be people of affluence and other rich people archetypes, and the asylum group could be a group of desperate individuals, like a Yin Yang concept.

Perhaps. I was thinking that if there were two groups, the yacht group probably had the owner and someone else who had fallen in with a group of survivors and had made a successful run for the boat. I don't think too many affluent people would be surviving the situation, but it's possible.
Oh, they would. They could bribe some of the people in the Continuity of Operations bunkers to take them along.

Im down to possibly be a leader for the opposite group if there needs to be two leaders if were going to meet up eventually.

I like the idea of two groups, more so we could meet up at the end with any survivors we all have (I assume some people will die) and the journey to meet each other will be hard :)

Yeah or like a former RP i used to be in, they actually made everyone start with two characters and force one of them to die off by the time the two groups met up so that way it would be i guess more action involved and realistic. It sucked when you had to pick one of your characters to kill off though :(

I myself am familiar with the Inter coastal Water way, one of my Uncle's is the Captain of a Barge tug and I took a cruise with him when I was 15.
It starts in Brownsville, Texas an ends at the Manasquan River in New Jersey. We began our cruise in Tarpon Springs Florida and only went to Charleston South Carolina but My Uncle has sailed it's entire length an had pictures and maps of all his trips.
If I were seeking a Captain under whom to sail who could help myself an his crew survive I'd chose an Inter Coastal Barge Captain. He'd know were to fuel, to find stored non perishable foods and all other manner of things along the shipping route

I'm good with either asylum or yacht group. I do think it would be hilarious to have a group of rich people turn from doing nothing at all to fighting for their lives. It would be fun trying to play such a character.

Two groups sounds good. Do we want to set up two separate In Character and OOC threads, and keep tabs on things. If KoKo is going to GM for the Asylum group, we'll need to coordinate... Or, I can lead GM for with a Co-GM in one main thread.

We could make them fall into conflict and then make up, combining forces and going somewhere safer.

I can't take such responsibility, there was a guy whom volenteired for it I think.

I could do two characters. Kinda tired of waiting around and tired of people shrugging their shoulders over what to do. I'll see about getting the OOC up after I get off work, around 4 o'clock Central Standard Time
