Mystique climbed back up to the roof and began to scale back down the side of the building. She jumped and landed next to her motorcycle before jumping on it and racing out. She drove straight past Jason and looked at him before continuing on hoping he wouldn't chase her. "Shit. Green Lantern Jr..." She muttered as she drove faster away from him.

"Right." Green Lantern said as he raised his arms and formed a sort or track. She would likely drive onto it being that it formed almost directly in front of her. It would twist and wind like a hot wheels track and she'd be stuck there or have to jump off. "Who are you and why are you doing this?" He asked not recognizing the girl who would have been his partner.

Mystique got caught in the track and jumped off of her motorcycle and began running on the track to the highest point so she could jump and attack Jason. "What's it to ya?" she asked as she jumped the hood still covering her as she aimed to tackle him to the ground so she could punch his face, chest and stomach a few times.

"Why can it never be easy?" Jason asked as he let the bike fall and created a new construct. It was a baseball glove. It formed behind him so he wouldn't go to far. Better than hitting the ground. "And the reason is because this was one of my best friend's city. So I hate when people mess with it." He said as he quickly shifted to a new construct. He smirked and closed his eyes as the new form, a flash grenade went off. It might bother him, but it was likely to bother her way more. If it worked that is.

Anger and sorrow flowed into her at hearing his words. Then the bright flash came she fell to the ground landing on her knees and hands. She rubbed her eyes slowly regaining vision as she stood using her hearing to sense where he now was because her vision would take awhile to get it back to full vision.

Jason descended while created a cage. He attempted to surround her in it. If he could do that then he might be able to get some answers. When the cage touched down there would be a sort of thump or clanging sound. He just hoped she didn't have some kind of power or something which could make the cage pointless. "Just give back what you took and this can be a lot easier."

"Like that will happen." Mystique said as her eyes began to glow more purple than natural. She focused her power on the bars and began to bend them, he had strong will power but she wasn't one to give in easily. She eventually made a space big enough for her to squeeze throughso she moved until she was right in front of him, her eyes sight finally back. "How bout you leave me alone so I can finish this mission and fulfill my last goal." Mystique said glaring at him.

"Tell the goal and maybe I can let you pass." Jason said. This wasn't a typical hero answer. In fact, wasn't this a big NO as far as heroing went. But he wanted to hear why this was so important.

"Like I'd tell you. I can't let my secrets out now can I?" Mystique asked before sending a strong telekinetic blast towards him. She ran after it and jumped sending a tornado kick straight towards his head.

Jason was to say the least surprised by the telekinetic blast. That caused the cage he'd put around her to vanish as his concentration on it was suddenly disrupted. "Crap..." What was worse was he swore he knew her voice. Who was this chick. He didn't have time for that though. He quickly created a shield to block the kick. That was a lucky move. "Try again." He said throwing a punch with his free hand aimed at her gut. He felt awkward fighting a girl.

Mystique grabbed his hand and attempted to flip him over her back like Deathstroke had taught her. If that worked she would send a punch to his gut while she stradled over him to pin him down. If not, she would move away to get from a farther distance for telekinetic attacks.

It happened so fast. The Green Lantern was on his back and this girl was on top of him. "Well... Normally I'd welcome this, but given the circumstances don't you think you should at least buy me dinner first?" He joked as he formed another construct. A small hand. He attempted to pull her hood off which might help him understand why he thought he knew her. Or confuse him more. One of the two.

The green hand pulled her hood off and revealed her light blonde hair that appeared almost white in the moon light. "You wish." Mystique said her hand glowing purple as she broke a car mirror off of a car near by and brought it to her hand. She gripped it and raised it up high before swinging her arm down hoping he wouldn't construct something fast enough or move his head enough that she wouldn't be able to hit him hard on the head in an attempt to knock him out.

The construct couldn't form quick enough and GL was knocked out. As he faded into the black he couldn't help, but think about what the hell was going on. Who was this chick? Why did he think he knew her? But he was out now. And nothing could be done.

Mystique picked up GL and carried him to the nearest Zeta Tube. She plugged in a code she remembered and he was sent to where she knew people would be to care for him. She then began running until she reached the hideout. Mystique took off the mask as she entered the main room and set the bag infront of Deathstroke. "Happy Birthday." She said with venom and sass in her voice.

"You saw that?!" She asked slightly shocked befor le shrugging it off and going and sitting down in a small area she claimed as her own. Mystique picked up a pure black bow that she had found in a box of weapons to be thrown out. The bow was nothing but a black sleek metal with a silver grip. It had no string or arrows but that was because it drew telekinetic power from the user and formed it into the string and an arrow. The arrow flew better than any other arrow but when it impacted with a solid surface, it sent out a pulse of force like a telekinetic blast. Unfortunately Hayley couldn't use it because one arrow drained most power and Deathstroke said it may give away her real identity

Deathstroke laughed a bit. Of course he saw. How could he gauge her progress if he didn't have his eyes on her at the crucial moments. Without another word he began to work on the machine his young protege thought would be able to bring her former teammate back to life. "Poor unfortunate soul." He mused with a slight chuckle.

Hayley undressed and took a cold shower. Afterwards she got out and slid on ripped black jeans, black combat boots, a dark purple tanktop and a black leather jacket. She brushed her wet blonde hair with her fingers and braided it to the side before standing up and wandering around the warehouse for what felt like forever while she waited for Deathstroke to finish the machine.

"You're free to roam young one." Deathstroke spoke over the intercom. "It'll be quite some time before the machine is complete." He added.
After Jason had woken up and gotten himself together he had managed to sneak away from those caring for him. He wasn't that hurt. He could manage. Still he couldn't put his finger on it, but something felt off. He sighed. Back in Central City. "Geez dude. Taking care of your home turf is tough. And your parents being away on the mission makes it that much harder." He said calmly. The police were investigating the break in. Like that would help. "Might as well get something to eat. I already reported it to big daddy bats." He said as he rubbed his head a bit while walking to the nearest fast food place.
