FTL works on the premise of what most people end up calling Sifirium Drives because they run on Sifirium how original of them. It supercharges the refined Sifirium which basically creates a negative mass bubble around the Starship allowing for something along the lines of an Alcubierre drive to actually be used. Objects outside the affected ship will appear refracted. The greater the difference between the objective (exterior) and subjective (interior) speeds of light, the greater the refraction and the ship will appear to start to blue shift. While from the inside it will look like everything is starting to red shift. This releases a crud ton of energy as you would imagine which makes ships very visible on radar technology as they have to continually vent out huge amounts of heat into the void to prevent their own ships from fraying and the crew from melting which would be very bad.

Another Update!

So when things crashed, I lost all the CSs which is a real bummer. So basically all I'm doing right now is finishing a little blurb on technology and editing the galactic map and than I'm just going to post the OCC and get the CSs up later because I feel you guys have been waiting too long and it will give you a chance to start working on your own CSs and explore this little world a little bit deeper. Expect the OCC very very very soon.

Soooo, this is dope. Tentative interest mainly because I haven't truly role-played in ages! This has garnered serious interest from me though, first time in a while. I'll be looking out for the time being.
