Usually we just wait. Once the person has been accepted, it's up to them to move their character over to the other tab when they get the chance.

@NarcissisticPotato Well quite a few people have been putting in their character sheets that their powers have been passed down from generations. I'd like to think that people with special abilities have been here for a while. I made Ellie's parents alumnae to Mayweather so that grantees the school being around for at least 30 years. I'd like the think the schools (well now school, sorry Delphina) are OLD AS HELL. Though when the academies opened, that was probably during a controversal time for people with powers - trying to get known as heroes rather than freaks. We'll have to see what @HushedWhispers has to say on that one.

@NarcissisticPotato The schools have been around for generations and generations, hence the names of the Academies(lol) but your abilities does not have to be passed down from a parent or from your characters parents. Example: Bobby from X-Men though someone carried the gene somewhere down the line in the descendant family line and skipped at least two generations before suddenly falling onto him. Think of this as X-Men Academy, or something of that nature.

I mean I don't think anyone is the typical 'academy' student since there's a lot of grey areas. I do know Ellie can potentially show her dark nature quite fast depending on the person that she lets get under her skin _{*cough* Lucas *cough*}

Lucas' friend almost had fun (bad) times with Ellie's little sister (the third "incident" mentioned in my backstory). Lucas deliberately calls Ellie's sister stupid near her, so rather than let him yammer on about her beloved family, she scarred a bitch for life by trapping him in a nightmare for an hour. He now holds a forever grudge against her ^_^
