That's an awesome concept, actually. I wouldn't say Allison is pathetic in comparison, but her powers are definitely limited to tech itself. Also, Dianna had a pretty easy ride seeing as she was given the essence of Wise One. XD

But yes, let's go with that as the backstory for the magic. If the GM accepts it as a part of his world's lore of course.

As far as just them, do you think they would be emanating magical potential that can only be seen by other witches, or do you think that once magic is used by them they'll be able to detect it?

I like the idea of wizards being able to sense magic if they're looking for it or feeling it if someone does something close enough. So if Dianna used some in Allison's presence she would take a look. She's got other things on her mind so she's not really checking.

Even if Dianna's not looking for it, though, she would definitely know Phone Freak was a mage considering the Presence just announced it to the room.

Well, when she transmutes something, they take on the appearance of whatever they are transmuted into. They also have the physical attriubutes of said thing, so if Ms. Muffins II became a dragon, she probably wouldn't be able to breathe fire (without the right hex/spell cast on her) but she would be able to fly and whip her tail or whatever.

Between the mask and the heavy clothes there's no real indication what Phone Freak's gender is one way or the other. I mean, she doesn't have some rolled up socks stuffed down the front of her trousers but from all outward indications she might just be an actual robot.

"Secret Identity" is a concept she takes very seriously.

I see this could possibly at some points turn into a blood bath over who responds first, but I think it's mostly because were all in one room. I feel like when the characters spread out on missions and stuff then it shouldn't be as overwhelming?
