Odin tossed his trash in the same bin Morgan did then shoved his hands into his pockets. "Her name is Rose and she's really weird, weird in a cool way though, like... uhhhh... I dont know something that is weird and cool, All Im saying is that she is... different... and not in a bad way." Odin stumbled with the words as he tried to explain but gave up when the warm air from the library swirled around his body and made him sigh in relief. Odin stood at the door and surveyed the room looking for Rose.

I get a text from one of my bosses at work "Hey, there's a shift opening since an employee is sick. You want to accept?" I check my phone and immediately text back oh my gosh, yes!!! and then I immediately regret it, remembering the study date. oh well, will just have to cancel... I need the money more anyways... I think and I text Odin hey, plans have changed. I can't make it tonight. Sorry, fam

Odin finishes scanning the library, then turns back to Mo. "I dont see her, she must be running late." he said semi-concerned, Just then his phone buzzed and he checked it quick. Odin turns to Mo with a semi-pissed but saddened face, "She backed out..." Odin takes a deep breath and sighs loudly before turning and opening the first of the two doors to outside, "So It looks like we're spending a normal day together, whos house today? My parents are gone this week on business or something so my house would be nice and quiet, but maybe you have something at your place you want? Ive got a shit load of soda and shit to snack on. But I want you to choose. Just be sure to tell your folks." Odin follows her out the door back into the cold and just before they get to his car Odin notices Mo start to slip on some ice, He quickly dives for her as she falls and puts himself between her and she ground just in time so that she falls on him and not the pavement.

Morgan felt almost relieved when Odin received the text, but she forced herself to frown. "Her loss." She shrugged and followed him out, allowing herself to smile just a little bit as she glided through the door and listened to him talk. "Your place is fine." Truth be told, she loved staying at Odin's; it was like a second home to her. She was so busy thinking about his house that she didn't realise she was slipping. It wasn't until it was too late that she started to fall. She landed with a gasp, expecting the cold pavement but instead a body beneath her. Morgan froze, her breath coming out in soft clouds of mist. After a second of silence, she whispered "My hero." Then she grinned and stuck out her tongue at him, pushing herself off of Odin.

I sigh as I head to my small apartment and get changed into my uniform. maybe it's for the best... I go to my job at "Red Fish" and take calls for orders at the front desk. i wonder what he's doing... I really miss him... and his goofy grin... oh what would I give to be there by him right now...

Odin laughs at Morgans little comment after he tried to catch her but ended up landed on the ground under her, figures. "My house it is then, whats for dinner? I said Ive got snacks but I dont have jack shit for meals. Odin said with a snicker. He got up off the cold ground with little warmth returning, he hurried to beat Mo to the car and open her door to help her climb down into the black mustang. Once Mo was in he closed the door behind her and walked around to the drivers side tugging on the lanyard in his pocket that had his keys on it, smoothly opening the car door swinging into his seat and closing the door behind him all in one graceful movement. "Alright off we go, we will figure out dinner when the time comes." Said Odin as he pulled out and headed for his house. Just for kicks and to scare Mo he slammed on the gas out of the parking lot and fishtailed out into the road then corrected and looked at Mo with a mischievous smirk

Trying not to roll her eyes at his manners and once she was settled in the car, Morgan rubbed her hands together to try and get some warmth back into them. "What about Red Fish?" She didn't get an answer before Odin slammed down the gas and the car took off, tyres squealing. Morgan almost ended up kneeing herself in the face as she was thrown backwards, the leg she had propped up on the dashboard flew up to meet her face. Luckily, she recovered herself just in time to avoid a nose bleed. Whipping her head around to the driver with a glare, she folded her arms and lifted her chin up haughtily. "Dickhead" She muttered, a scowl plastered across her face.

I busily work while humming "Red Like Roses" as I clean off the tables and sushi counters. Then, with the leftover unused bacterial wipes, I wipe the front desk and my chair. man, this is so worth it. I'm gonna make so much money and finally afford my own apartment without using my dad's military money or my college funds!!! I think to myself as I sit down on my freshly cleaned chair at the front desk and I put a few menus on the front desk for easy accessibility.

Odin laughed as Mo gave him her usual glare and commented "Youre so cute." to top it all off, "but seriously I haven't been to that restaurant in forever, I say all missions are a go and that tonights dinner is set for the Red Fish. *semi-long pause* Did you do something new to your hair? or with your makeup or something?" Odin said suddenly realizing a dark spot on the back of her cheek where it tenses when she grits her teeth. Odin's concern for Mo skyrocketed. He immediately remembered Jason and how he and Mo were not on good terms, He hoped Mo had a good explanation.

Morgan flushed slightly and glanced at him, her previous anger forgotten. She noticed how his eyes focused on her cheek, right where her sore spot was. Adjusting her hair slightly so that it was hidden, she pushed away the thoughts of rough fingers grabbing at her. "Nope, it's just the same old me." She replied, now suddenly fascinated with her nails.

I wait for calls or customers boredly. man, this place is really slowing down.... but I guess every penny counts... I hear tires screeching outside and cringe... oh gosh, I hope that isn't who I think that is... Odin's gonna KILL me!!! I restock the menus on my front desk neatly.

Odin gives Morgan a skeptical look, "alright, just checking." He said as he pulled into the parking lot of The Red Fish. The place was practically empty so he pulled into a front row spot. "Good pick, we will have it all to ourselves, Fast service for sure. Then my place right? Got your history book? I know youre gunna need all my help in catching up for skippin today." He said with a wink while he turned off the car. He threw it in park slid out the key and hopped outa the car, rushing to the other side and grabbing the door for Morgan and offering a helping hand up. "Look at us going on a date." he said teasingly as he opened the door to the Red Fish. He followed Morgan with his head down, when he looked up he was greeted with the face that just skipped out on him, not that he was very offended, they hardly knew each other. He was glad he was with Morgan though, just to make her jealous. "well Hi Rose. He said with a blank expression.

"Good. I'm starving." Morgan slipped out of the car as he held the door open for her. She was again greeted by a gust of warmth as the two entered the restraint. She was about to make some cheeky comment back at him when she turned round and saw his face- which was completely blank. Arching a brow, she followed his gaze to the front desk, but said nothing. Her mouth was set in a thin line, half way between a look of confusion and a look of suspicion.

I tense up, seeing him with another girl. But I try to play it cool. "hello, welcome to red fish. How many are we seating tonight...? I get two menus ready and fear the worst... he's on a date... I try not to sigh... don't look hurt... push those tears back... you don't like him... you don't like him.. you don't like him... he isn't worth it... just keep professional... earn some money... and then it's closing time which is the end of my shift... and then to my small little apartment to tidy it up some.. I repeat to myself, really hurt that you had already found someone else... but it was barely showing... I awaited your yes or no response

"Just two tonight." He said with a very harsh monotone response. Odin followed Rose to their seat with his hands shoved in his pockets and his eyes fixated on her feet as she walked. Rose put them at an open table near the back corner. Odin, like usual, pulled out Morgans chair for her and had her sit then he pushed it back in so that she was comfortable, Then took his seat on the other side. Rose placed his menu in front of him and Odin reached as if to pick up the menu but intentionally brushed her arm as she withdrew it. He glanced at her then back to the menu, it had been so long since he ordered from here he had no idea what he wanted. "Hey, Mo, whats good to eat here? Its been forever." he said looking at her suddenly being hit with her utter gorgeousness, "Y'know Mo, You are so beautiful. I dont tell you enough either, Im sorry for not being a good enough friend... I wanna make it up to you. Im gunna start by paying for this meal, And please dont argue." Odin opened his hand and laid it palm up like he did when he wanted her to trace the lines on his hand. "Remember when we used to do this?" his eyes gleamed as he looked at Mo. "Im sorry Im so oblivious all the time, I just want you to know that I relish every second I spend with you, I cant believe its taken me this long to take you on a date... Im sorry Mo... Odins head was spinning, Morgan had been there for him for years and she was so beautiful, but he felt such a connection with this new girl that he has spent no time with and that just ditched him for an extra shift. He was so conflicted. He dident know what to think anymore.

I leave y'all two to discuss what you want for dinner and I go into the break room a few yards away. When I'm in the corner farthest from the door, I sit on the floor and I take out my wallet and look at the photo of my dad before he passed in the war "Don't worry papa... I'll stay strong... for both of us..." I clench my fists and wipe my tears. I do a touch-up on my makeup and plaster a small, polite smile on before I go back out into the restaurant.

Morgan bit her lip and followed the pair to a table, uncomfortable with the obvious tension in the air. She took a second to have a proper look at the other girl, Rose, and sighed inwardly. Sure, she was young, but she had an easy confidence about her that Morgan could never have. Settling back into her chair, she studied the menu before looking up to catch Odin staring at her. Flushing, her eyes darted back to the menu once more. "I can't choose...do you wanna get something to share?" Automatically, she met his hand with her own and absentmindedly followed the lines of his palm. "You don't have to say that stuff, you know. You have nothing to apologise for." She dimpled, forgetting the other girl for a moment. "When I'm with you, I can't help but smile and laugh." She shrugged. "You make things easier, so thank you for that."

Odin sighs, "I just want you to feel as special as you are to me... Anyway, a meal to share would be nice, I think we should do that." Odin moves to the chair next to Morgan as he looks at the menu and tries to decide. Odin sees Rose approach the table and gets ready. "Whats your best meal for two?" He asks simply but rubs in the fact that it is for two.

I take a small, but deep breath. Well... we have the sushi platter, chicken lo mein, and we have a gyoza, or dumpling, plate as well... I await your orders as a co-worker of mine brings you two water. But she slips and spills it on Odin and a little on Morgan so sorry!!! I immediately get the broom and mop, carefully picking up the big shards of glass and I hand the mop to the co-worker that slipped please mop this up. I have customers to take care of.. but my boss makes me clean it up instead. I cut my hands on some glass by accident and he yells at me just give me my pay for doing this spare shift... it'll be enough to keep bread on the table... he hands me a $50 bill and I leave with the money with bloody hands, sobbing.

Morgan opened her mouth to suggest the sushi platter, but was interrupted by the water being spilled all over her and Odin. Frowning, she reached for a napkin and dabbed at the wet patches on Odin and herself. She watched helplessly as Rose attempted to clean the mess up, letting out a letting gasp of surprise as the girl's fingers were cut on the glass. "Here let me-" but it was too late, and she watched with her mouth slightly open as Rose ran off. Morgan looked at Odin, her gaze desperate. She wanted to go after the girl, to see if she was alright- but she couldn't just leave him there.
