My mother died when I was young. My father raised me, and at the time that I was marked, we were going through some financial issues. I somehow by some miracle found the tracker who marked me and had him help me explain to my father that I had 'gotten a scholarship to a special school', and that it was located up in Seattle. It wasn't my 'home' House, but it was the one I wanted to attend. Ironically, it's also where my tracker was from. No one really knows why he came all the way down to Portland, but I guess that's where Nyx led him. To me. Now I've been at the Seattle House of Night for 3 years. Well, going on my third year, anyway. I've never felt more at home.

Before getting marked, I lived a very luxurious life. My family was very wealthy, and when I became a fledgling, they acted as if I'd died. They disowned me, changed their numbers and moved away almost overnight. Well, actually.. they did. Went to sleep with a full house, next morning the only thing that was still there were my personal belongings. All the furniture, the family photos, gone. I was left with no other choice but to go to the House of Night in Seattle. I mean, of course I had no choice. It took me quite a while, and me nearly dying, to figure that out. This will be my last year here before I go off and do my own thing in this dog-eat-dog world. I can't friggin wait to make the Change. It's getting to be too much here at this school. So much drama. I want to be a vampyre already, and not have to rely on being close to one just to survive.

Bio: Jackson was always the guy who you could turn to no matter who you were and when it came to girls and his love life the poor guy had it bad girl would open up and so would he and the next thing you know they were running off with someone that looked better than him. At least that was his reasoning anyway. His parents were some of the best people he knew owning a ranch outside a tiny Washington town called McCleary. He worked all day on the ranch when he wasn't in school and felt he was better because of it. Finally after yet another girl had bailed on him it happened he got marked. After waking up a bit he ran back to his house and showed his parents. both of them were thrilled and they were pleased even more because of his Aunt having been marked when she was younger. After a quick meal and some packing Jackson loaded up his fathers truck only to find that his dad was giving him the keys and told him good luck. The years after went by pretty quick a couple kids died including his first roommate but all in all he enjoyed himself and especially his Mentor. She grew up in the southern regions of Wisconsin in a small town just 30 minutes away from the city. She lived on a farm that was runned by her grandparents and her dad. She was always a daddy’s girl. She loved her mom but not as much as her dad. When she was 11, her father died in a tractor accident while he was working one morning and when her father was buried a week later, her mom and her moved up to the place her mother grew up, Seattle. She had a hard time adjusting to city life, but she never let go of her country style clothing. She was targeted by bullies, but she made them back off when she was able to get them t back off when she was able to beat the leader up. At the age of 15, she was just coming out from the local swimming pool when she was marked. Her mom was understanding and willing took her to the Seattle House of Night.
