A large truck drops off a huge stack of boxes... almost half as tall as the apartment itself! The Landowner decides to move them by herself initially, but after Yagamine topples them all over, everything becomes a mess. She decides to ask the residents if they'd like to help just for the day...

Upcoming Episodes

Episode 3: "Scrubs!" - The Landowner decides to clean the building itself! While she is cleaning the building, however, a mysterious, fishy-looking man comes in with a bunch of crap and starts littering the place.

Episode 4: "Playground!" - A fairly simple episode. A trampoline, along with a few other small goodies from a small playground kit, is set up outside the building and within the apartment's parameters. The Landowner asks a few residents if they could test it out for her.

Episode 5: "Kitten!" - A kitten separated from its owner goes into the apartment. It is Maple 801's job to take care of it while the Landowner and Alex is out. The first thing they probably have to do is to hide it from Yagamine's presence because he thinks it's a god of death that came to kill him. (The cat is a black cat, or a "kuroneko" as Yagamine would scream.)

Name: “The Landowner” (Hibiki Kate)

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Occupation: The landowner of the place. She cleans the place up and doesn’t do anything to productive for the most part.

Personality: Quiet for the most part, she manages the grounds of the apartment. The Landowner hates it when people intentionally litter the place. It’s easy to find her shouting when everyone starts to ignore her, though that doesn’t help her from being overshadowed by others for the most part. It’s incredibly easy to unintentionally ignore her for some reason.

She has an odd sense of humor in finding gore funny and prefers a direct kind of humor. Those who are shy are under her mercy when she has the peculiar mood to bother some of her residents. If someone has a problem, she is surprisingly a decent person to talk with- compared to the other default resident in the apartment, that is.

Background: The Landowner wanted to become someone who flipped burgers when she was young, but when her father recommended choosing something a bit fancier for a dream job, she chose “landowner” after years of thought during high school. Here she is now.

Name: Yagamine Kurosaki

Age: 29

Gender: Male

Occupation: A detective. Unfortunately, there’s literally no form of crimes happening often in the neighborhood, so he usually stays in the Maple 801 district.

Personality: An extremist to everything, Yagamine has and always will act like the world would end by tomorrow whenever he competes in something. He annoys the Landowner to an amazing extent and always ends up screaming for no reason at least once per day. Despite being a smart man, his intelligence is completely overshadowed by his freakishly infinite energy of annoying people.

He doesn’t ever mention it, but he feels happy whenever someone compliments him. He’s tolerable once a resident lives in the same apartment with him for at least one week. Roleplayers should expect everything to go downhill as soon as he enters an Episode. Be prepared to be bothered by him endlessly if you challenge him into literally any competitive, regardless of whether he even knows the subject in hand or not.

Background: Yagamine was once a boy who aspired to become a singer, but when he fell on his head, he suddenly became a genius and decided to become a detective instead. He solved hundreds of cases within minutes, quickly losing traction as he became known as an incredibly gifted man. Case by case, he solved them all with unparalleled swiftness.

But one day, he moved to a very quiet neighborhood. Time passed, and everyone forgot about him after years of not seeing him.

And somehow, he turned into what he is now during his absence.

Look at what he turned into now. He’s a freaking nutjob.

Room Number: 9, but he decided to flip the number and make it look like “6” to confuse people.

Name: “Alex”

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Occupation: Restaurant Owner, though she barely goes to the restaurant herself. She mostly settles business with her phone.

Personality: Curt and straight to the point, Alex is a person with a complex way of thinking. She has a different kind of unpredictability from Yagamine in that she’s less obnoxious when calm, but much moodier when she’s angry or feeling conflicted about something. She tends to shut Yagamine up with BB guns, though when she gets angry, she would bring out a shovel. Alex loosens up with others more if she is around someone who clearly relies on her for something.

It’s very easy to annoy her- either be loud for an extensive amount of time without warning, or directly bother her when she’s trying to do something. She does not hide her anger for the most part.

She has very few things to fear about, though the one thing she never tries to show to others is her fear of being truly and utterly alone.

Background: She was physically abused as a child by her parents, and sexually abused by a group of lawyers. Eventually, Detective Yagamine Kurosaki rescued her after she sent a distress message to his agency. After finally leaving the dominant presence of her family and people she no longer trusted, she decided to live for herself as a thug. Meeting Hibiki Kate, however, distanced her from the idea of being hostile to others and sparked a strong sense of protecting others.

After growing up, she got her own job and stuck with the Landowner even before Maple 801 – 101 came to be. A few years after it was established, however, she ended up finding the detective who saved her to be in… an extremely disappointing state of mind. Now she lives with the two and considers them to be her family and hopes that anyone who gets a room in the apartment is not as atrociously obnoxious as Yagamine.

Room Number: 10. She lives together with the Landowner and functions like an older sister.

Name: Abigail Hanson

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Occupation: She's a web designer who currently has a job maintaining web pages, keeping them up to date and preventing hacks and such. She can easily do this from her computer at home and so she rarely has a reason to leave the apartment unless she needs groceries and such.

Personality: Abigail is what you'd call the energetic type, the more people she's around the more upbeat she becomes. She's almost always in the mood to chat, to the point where the more introverted of people might get annoyed with her. When she's alone she easily gets bored and usually ends up checking on her web pages or playing video games when she's stuck at home by herself.

She also has a fantastic imagination, and is likely to believe the most ridiculous things.

Background: Abigail never really knew what she wanted to do with her life, she was fairly good with computers, and so when she went to school to become a web designer it was little surprise to her parents. A few years later and she's scored a fairly lazy job of maintaining small company's websites, which she now maintains from her new apartment she recently moved in too.

She moved to Maple 801 - 101 because she heard from a hobo reliable source that aliens lived there. They were probably wrong about that, because she hasn't seen any wild parties yet.

Rebel Cebolla Valerosa

Name: Rebel Cebolla Valerosa

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Occupation: Digital artist/animator - mostly consists of doing art commissions online, usually relating to those weird fandoms and animating videos for said groups. Sorta well known online for her art (if not a bit famous), being sponsored by some companies and even helps design characters in a popular cartoon.

Personality: Being an anxiety-driven girl, it's almost ironic she chose a rather stress inducing job that deals with people, one of her many, many fears. Although it's sort of suiting as her anxiety pushes her to do her best while usually overwhelmed to the point of crying and panic.

Rebel, despite her name, doesn't like to stand out in any shape or form, keeping to herself at all times. Surprisingly enough, she's rather timid, disliking face-to-face contact with others. Paired with being sensitive, catch the poor onion tearing up either seeing an article about a puppy, during the epic part of a movie, or even if a cute girl talks to her. A soothing cup of peach tea along with her favorite music (always as a low ten percent volume) would best calm her down.

However, online she takes on a different persona, taking on the role as a sort of "senpai" to many who know of her work. Be it giving advice to young fans on art or even personal matters, she's quite popular. This can also be stressful in its own way, as she's usually nervous about saying the wrong thing and often overthinking everything. This does make her persona look too cool to answer her fans right away, though. Sometimes she accidentally lets this persona slip, usually when she hears a reference to one of the obscure shows she's a fan of.

Background: Being a rather sickly child, Rebel always stayed inside, being home schooled and never really going outside much. Growing up a quiet child in a rather loud family, it was a nice change to move into a calm and quiet neighborhood such as Maple 801-101, at least she hopes it'll be.

Rebel's also a huge fan of that delivering company that has the drones delivers almost everything she needs, from groceries to anime collectibles. Her goal in life is to never leave her home and remain an enigma.

Appearance

He rarely wears the hat, however. Also has a small patch on the front of his jacket that has the number 6 on it.

Name: George DeWitt, although he goes by Number Six or Six. No one knows his real name; sometimes even he forgets.

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Occupation: Unemployed/prisoner (he's obviously not forced to stay in the apartment, he just made himself think he is)

Personality: Where to start? Number Six, to put it charitably, is eccentric. To put it uncharitably... He's batsh*t f*cking insane. When he's in his apartment, he'll almost always be rewatching The Prisoner for ideas on how to escape or planning his escape. When he's not in his apartment, he's trying to escape. Or maybe talking with someone else when he feels like it. He refers to everyone by their room numbers (the exceptions being Kate and Alex, who share the same apartment; in their case he calls Kate 'the landowner' and Alex '10' or 'number 10'), in accordance with The Prisoner.

Background: Number Six, born as George DeWitt, grew up watching a lot of old TV shows. After watching the entirety of The Prisoner, he decided that he was no longer George DeWitt: he was Number Six. And after a while, he even convinced himself that he was forced to change his name to Number Six, and occasionally says 'I am not a number, I am a free man!' in accordance to his character.
Anyhow, Six eventually grew bored of living life in a city where he was allowed to do whatever he want and leave at any time. So he packed his bags and moved to the Maple Neighborhood, Maple 801 - 101 specifically. He got room number six, to his joy. To this day he attempts to escape the apartment complex despite the fact that he's free to leave at any time. Obviously, all his plans backfire in some way or another, otherwise he would've been long gone.

Maribelle

Name: Maribelle Jackson

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Occupation: Local Event Organizer/Consultant

Personality: Maribelle can be most easily described as a strict and no-nonsense woman. Her face seems to have developed a permanent stern expression that only changes to express anger, disgust or dissapointment, pretty much thanks to the almost endless number of calls she receives every day. She dislikes wasting time in pointless tasks, seeing a chaotic workplace, and she would rather get to straight to the point than beating around the bush. Thanks to the implications of her job, she tends to view everyone else as pretty much incompetent unless proven otherwise.
On the other side, this antagonistic attitude has pretty much strained any chance of mantaining a social relationship properly.

Background: There isn't much to say about Maribelle. She grew up in an average family in an average town. In high-school she always helped out with the preparation of the various events that took place the several years she attended there and decided that she could just go ahead and make a living out of that. She studied in a specialized institute focused around business management and administration, then joined a consultant office where she's still working now. She moved into the Maple Neighborhood as part of a job assigment regarding extending the office towards another city.

Name: Maurice Brown

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Occupation: Despite his wild looks he's a salaryman who works in a neighboring city. He's not a company owner but his wages are fairly high nevertheless, which allows him to commute from Maple Apartment even though it's rather far away.

Personality: A charismatic man with both competence and sociability. He's light-hearted and polite, meticulous but not strict. He pays his bills on time and greets his neighbors. He participates in local activities as long as they don't require too much stamina. He may be a little behind on technology, owning a cheap laptop he uses mostly for work but in general he's a jolly person who spends most of his free time socializing and reading.

However he's also quite paranoid and is under the belief that aliens have secretly blended into modern society, and has taken up arms to defend mankind from them. He has a stockpile of occult-ish books written on the subject, and a variety of survival kits and self-defense tools he's prepared in case he encounters one, hidden somewhere in his room. He's quite a survival nut, in other words. He'd be out in the streets actively hunting aliens now but he subconsciously realizes he's still too weak to deal with them and thus, is still waiting for his time to shine.

He knows that his level of paranoia is rather unnatural and will do anything to hide this truth from other people, going to extreme measures if he must.

Background: He watched too much television as a kid, and an occult show scared him. Later when he began working he became convinced one of his co-workers was an alien and began to avoid him. Ever since, his irregular life as a (faux) alien hunter began.

Name: Miguel Dexter

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Occupation: He's still a student. He's parents are still giving him some money and allowance.

Personality: Miguel is that type of person that isn't friendly but he's approachable. He seems not nice or snobbish but he's actually kind. He's always bored every time. He likes to play basketball, some games and he likes to eat some sweet and salty with a mixture of slightly spicy. He dislikes cockroaches and any other ugly insects (It's his only weakness). He likes singing but he's afraid to show it. He also have the potential to be a dancer. He also wants to be focused in romance.

Background: His parents sent him to a university to attend school. He's actually rich but his parents wants to teach him how to value money and things. His father is a strict person wherein everything you need to do should be perfect or not that wrong. Her mother is a caring and loving one. His parents just want to make him successful that's why they sent him alone in an apartment where he's gonna know how to play with life, make some new friends and learn everything that is going to be new in his age.

Gender: Female

Occupation: She's just a housegirl.

Personality: You can say that Minnie is a cute friend. She's the friend who'll laugh at the jokes you're sharing even if it's not funny. She's the friend you'll obviously don't want to leave. She's actually sweet, loving, kind and caring. She takes care the house when no one is around. She likes cleaning and cooking. She's also have a pet cat named Mouse because she says it's cute.

Background: Minnie is Miguel's school mate in the past school where they go. Miguel has no clue that Minnie is living in the Maple 801 - 101. Minnie is the real owner of the Room 1 and Miguel just choose to live with her because she's the only person he knows. Her real background remains a mystery.

Age: 20

Gender: Male.

Occupation: Story writer for a few well known light novel series.

Personality: Oftentimes shuts himself inside the house since he doesn't like going outside. He's laid-back and generally goes along with most things. He dislikes dogs and social activities. He has trypophobia. He likes cats, his sister, his computer, and orange chicken. He draws, but fails at it, making him upset quite often, so he just sticks with writing.

Background: The shut-in of shut-ins, staying indoors most of the time ever since he was young. He's been anti-social for as long as he can remember and the only thing keeping him from staying inside all the time is his sister.

Appearance

She looks like Neko, except with longer hair and green eyes as well as different clothing. She wears a similar jacket, but pink, as well as a yellow skirt.

Name: Mizu Koneko

Age: 20.

Gender: Female

Occupation: Idol at a young age and the artist for Neko's light novel series'.

Personality: Complains at Neko a lot about going outside and being social, and often forces him outside, to which he would just be on his phone or handheld game. When she isn't being uptight with him, she is very clingy to him. She doesn't like the fact her brother is a shut-in that's about it. She likes her brother, oranges, and secretly going on her brother's computer.

Background: She became an idol very young, after both of the parents died, she and her brother had to find a way of pulling in money. She was offered the chance to become an idol and chose to go through with it. At first, she enjoyed it, but she grew tired of it. She never got well known, so she wasn't getting much money. So her brother decided to start making LN's and included her as the artist and she eventually quit her idol career.

Name: Ayano Yukimura

Gender: Female

Occupation: Ayano is a journalist and television anchor for the local news/weather station. It's not national news by any means, but it is a coveted position in her field with good pay and good hours, that she also loves doing.

Personality: When not in professional mode for her job, Ayano's primary mode of communication is sass. It's both her way of letting loose and her natural state. She enjoys socializing, if only to a) network and b) be sassy. She can also be manipulative, and very effective at it too. If she wants something done, more often than not she can manipulate someone into doing it for her. Her favorite hobby when off work is dancing, mostly in urban styles but even in things like DDR. She always has her apartment well stocked with wine to drink when she gets home from work, she always wears chic apparel, and she enjoys gossip to the point where she reads "People" magazine legitimately. She is simultaneously the gossip girl and the elder, and she revels in it. She likes being important, but she also likes being left alone once in a while.

Background: Ayano grew up to an average middle class family with no outstanding traits except the ability to produce attractive offspring. She holds degrees in both journalism and advertising, so she knows to sell herself well to say the least. Single and really not interested in mingling, she is much more focused on further developing her already established career and reminding people that she could leave any day now for a bigger and better job somewhere far away.
