The two pokemon kept dancing even as Boukun charged at them, but when his attack hit it would make an Illusion fade before the true Illusion herself appeared behind Bakeru and used Dark pulse at point blank range to destroy the disguise and then jump backward onto True Daenerys back as she went to use shadow claw on Mimikyu, it seemed Sashia plan was to take out the Mimikyu first since that held the biggest threat to her team. If both attacks hit then, Illusion would quickly make another Illusion to hide them, even if the attacks failed, Illusion would still ensure that the two of them would escape unscratched.

Bakeru's disguise was busted from the Dark Pulse, but the Mimikyu jumped off of Boukun, making Daenerys' attack hit Boukun instead. "Boukun, Rock Slide; Bakeru, put a Curse on Illusion!" Bakeru sensed Illusion and put a curse on the Zoroark at the cost of half of his HP. Boukun roared and lots of boulders rained down all over the battlefield.

Illusion felt the curse but shook herself of the effects though she would still feel it as the battle drew on but Sashia plan had worked out perfectly, with Bakeru now at half health, he had a slim chance of surving the next attack so Sashia stretched as she said "Smart move, sending out Mimikyu against my pokemon when he's super effective against both of them but I'm afraid you fell straight into my trap my friend"

With that, Deany's back away from Boukun avoid his attack before Sashia began to dance with Illusion summon forth her Hula skirt and flower crown as she used the Z move Never ending nightmare. (Which after dark pulse, is a 160 base move which add by Mimikyu x2 weakness to Ghost means this attack should be a KO epically since he's already lost half his health to curse Illusion). Sashia then mega evolved Deany's who used Dragon Claw on Boukun once the rocks had gone.

"Wrong, Sashia," Shiranui rebutted, "You fell into my trap. Bakeru, use Destiny Bond on Illusion; Boukun, counter Daenerys' attack with Outrage!" Boukun was hit by Daenerys' attack and retaliated with a point-blank attack empowered by the rage that Dragon-type Pokémon were well-known for. While Sashia was dancing in preparation for Never-Ending Nightmare, Bakeru used his Destiny Bond to put a hex on Illusion. Shadowy manifestations of Illusion's grudges trapped Bakeru and delivered a devastating blow. After the shadows receded, Bakeru was prone on the battlefield and glowing with a crimson aura as his Destiny Bond triggered. Shiranui lost a lot of points from the Z-Move.

"That was a very clever counter." Liam thought aloud about Shiranui's use of Destiny Bond.

Illusion stood still as she felt the destiny bond trigger, but she still stood there for a few seconds before she fainted with a smile on her face, she disappeared back into her pokeball with Sashia smiling as she said "Smart move there Shiranui, Its a shame I won't reach the final in Kanto but I think Illusion preformed pretty well for her return to Festivals, don't you think?, Next time though, I will win"

Sashia looked at her points and noticed the Destiny bond had took out her points quite a lot, in fact Shiranu was leading even though the Z move had wiped out a lot of his points, "Daenerys, pull back. I'm afraid we lost this round" Sashia said as Daeny nodded and pulled back avoiding the second attack of outrage since she had taken a pretty significant blow when it had hit her close range, the bell rang as Daenerys landed beside her trainer, signalling Shiranui victory.

"She did do well," Shiranui agreed, now knowing what it was like for his opponents when he sent Zoro out for battle, "I'll look forward to that."

Back in the green room, Shiranui was thinking about who he'd send out in his grand final battle with Liam.

It was time for the final. Liam took his place and readied two balls. One had a heart sticker on it, the other had a flame sticker. Blissey and Smaug came out of them respectively .

Shiranui readied a ball with two star stickers and a ball that had a black wisp sticker. The first ball opened to reveal his Starmie, Hoshi, and the second ball opened to reveal his Tyranitar, Yamamoto.

Sashia sat down in the stands next to Chuck and the rest of the family's who had attended this event. Mike had gone off to train once she lost her match to prepare himself for his league and battle with Shiranui should he reach the championship battle.

"You did great." Chuck said, patting her on the back. "Your Pokémon fought hard."

A sandstorm started blowing moments after Yamamoto made his appearance.

"Oh no, no, no. We won't have any of this." Liam said as he activated the Mega Ring, making Smaug become Mega Charizard Y, and the sunlight magnifying.
"Double Solarbeam!" Liam called. Smaug picked up Blissey and carried her around as they both fired the grass attack, attempting to blast the Tyraniatar.

"Yamamoto, Protect; Hoshi, Reflect Type on Smaug! Mega Ring activate!" Yamamoto conjured the infamous green shield that blocked the two-pronged attack. A glow issued from inside the shield and when the shield disappeared a Mega Tyranitar roared, showing off his appearance and changing the weather back to a sandstorm. Hoshi, meanwhile, copied Smaug's type and adopted a fiery colour scheme.

"Very clever." Liam replied as the sandstorm pecked away at Smaug and Blissey's healths, as well as Liam's points. "Giga Impact and Tailwind!" Liam called. Blissey began to charge forward toward Tyranitar while Smaug allowed her to smack into Yamato at a higher speed.

Hoshi was also buffeted by the sandstorm. "Hoshi, use the Aquatic Catherine Wheel combo; Yamamoto, make like a ninja and use Fling! Smaug is your target!" Yamamoto grabbed Hoshi and threw the Starmie like a large shuriken before getting hit by Blissey's Giga Impact and laughing off the minor damage. Shiranui's points took more damage than Yamamoto's relative loss of HP. Meanwhile, Hoshi started spraying water from all ten of its limbs while boosting its spin speed further through Rapid Spin while it flew at Smaug.

Smaug was hurt badly by the water attack. The Sandstorm buffeted the afflicted Pokémon. "Blissey, Sunny Day, Smaug Solarbeam on Hoshi!"

"Yamamoto, Stone Edge on Smaug; Hoshi, Psyshock on Blissey!" The sandstorm lifted and the sun shone brightly before Hoshi got blasted by Smaug's Solar Beam, suffering only minor damage due to a double resistance. The Starmie's core glowed violet as it fired a purple beam of aura at Blissey. Yamamoto roared before charging at Smaug with rocks orbiting his fist as he wound up for an attack.

Smaug and Blissey were hit. Liam lost more points. Blissey was ordered to use Earthquake, while Smaug fired Solarbeam toward Yamamoto

"Yamamoto, Protect; Hoshi, Rollout at Smaug!" Yamamoto conjured his shield and blocked the beam of sunlight and weak tremors from damaging him. Hoshi was not affected by the Earthquake due to being partly a Flying type and in retaliation, spun towards Smaug. The time limit on the battle was on the verge of running out.
