|| Jax lives in the largest of the three houses south of the Mayor's house. Its fairly clean, with a gun case full of rifles and shotguns, a plasma TV with a PS4 hooked up to it, two bookshelves filled with books, a star wars poster here and there and the American flag hanging on the wall. ||

Last but not Least

|| Jax was born in Ashenport in 1986. His father was a traveling salesman who died in a plane crash when he was 4. His mother had Charlotte all alone and raised the two of them by herself. He was a swimmer in high school, not super popular but well known and mostly liked. He enlisted in the Marine Corps when he 18 years old and became a Recon Marine. He was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan three times over 8 years, it was bootcamp that got him hooked on smoking but when he came back he didn't feel like stopping. He returned home two years ago after getting out of the Corps and applied to become a deputy. He got the job and two years later he ran against his boss to become Sheriff.

And won.

Now he does a decent job keeping the peace, not that its very hard. He does occasionally have the drunk and unruly start some trouble, but he usually handles that with ease. There are only a few other towns in the county and the Sheriff HQ is just outside of Ashenport, so that's where Jax made his home. Its a sleepy and quiet life, but its a hell of a lot better than being shot at everyday by people you don't know and who don't know you.

Lives in the home directly to the north of the logging mill. Aside from the lock ridden door, it has the bare minimum for furnishings aside from a few bookcases and a stand for any books and puzzles he may have. Otherwise the remaining space is empty to keep him at ease with his claustrophobia.

Sean was born in 1985, some town far from Ashenport. Growing up, he and Trent were taught about logging and when not in school on summers, they were brought in to help with their father's company with little things. Through high school, he stuck close with his brother, not being the most popular guy around, but he got some attention, not that he wanted any. Once he was out of school, he joined up with his father's company while Trent went off to fulfill his dreams and moved on to college. The two have since lost contact and Sean couldn't even get in touch with his brother when their mother died from pneumonia one winter. Ten years before he moved to Ashenport, there was an accident on one of the logging jobs he had. A woman was hiking through and was passing by the site when Sean was felling a tree. Even with yelling 'timber' and the usual fanfare, the woman didn't hear and he watched helplessly as she was crushed under the trunk. That day, he left logging and hadn't thought about picking up an ax for years. Through therapy and various medicines, he worked himself back into the business, moving to Ashenport when he heard the mill was opening, hoping for a new start. That didn't stop the paranoia though...

To Sean, his nightmare is several severed limbs, two arms, two legs, that scuttle around. Each has tendrils, almost like a marionette's strings trailing off them that lead to a mound of flesh that can only be assumed to be the corpse the limbs belong to. Sean has yet to encounter it, but he could swear he saw flashes of it from the corner of his eye when he felt a tap on his shoulder.

Anna lives in the Mayor's house right next to the large Orchard near the middle of town. The house is modestly sized, which is more the accommodating for Anna to live by herself. The house is nicely decorated noticeably with nice leather furniture, a comfy and large bed, and an old mahogany piano and the walls are covered in pictures of the town people and her family.

Anna was born in 1967 in Ashenport. Her father was a Bookkeeper for Ashenport's Hotel. Anna remembers many incidents as a child, mostly fueled by racism, Anna doesn't like to talk about the darker aspects of her childhood. But the Smith's were a loving and supporting family, Anna remembers her father to keep moving forward and rise above the people who wishes to watch her fall. Anna kept her father's words close to her heart. When she was of age she moved out of Ashenport with her sister and moved to the nearest city where she can make a name for herself as a lawyer. Once she got her law degree at 22 she came back to Ashenport and started to work as a local law consultant for the then mayor. Over many years Anna went up the admittedly small ranks of Ashenport politics, Soon enough she became the mayor's assist when she was 28. for the next 15 years, many considered her the brains of all the previous mayors as many of them were elected but had little experience for leadership.

Six years ago, Anna was finally voted in as mayor, she's considered one of the best mayors the town had in decades. For the next years, she worked hard and dutifully, she didn't even her parent's failing health until her mother was sent off to the hospital for a heart attack and his father was sent to the nearest old folk's home after dementia started to kick in. But even with the death of her mother and the failing health of her father Anna kept moving forward since she knew her parents wouldn't want her to fall apart due to them. It has been a year since then, now she has been trying her best to deal with the only problem with the town had, the drunkard.

|| NIGHTMARE ||

Anna's fear is brutality and the inability to converse her way out of trouble. Her biggest nightmares are huge hulking creatures under white robes, with faces too mutilated to be human and hands bloodied and broken beyond recondition. They don't talk, they don't reason, they only wish for deaths of those they deem need to be destroyed, and Anna is just that. Sometimes Anna can swear she sees flashes of white among the green of the trees, but she always assume it the stress of work making her see things. If only she knew.

Hm, I do like him- however, I'm curious about his love interest. When he got put in the system he was 15/16 years old. Did he meet his wife while in jail? Or was this a highschool sweetheart that kept in touch. I'm not sure how she would be pregnant with his child if he is JUST returning home. :) Help me fill in these blanks?

Yes. After he went to the hospital, he went to jail. This is the foggy area. After 4-5 years, he was released, and went to some cheap college, where he met his wife.
