[IC] Log Horizon: Elder Tale "The Kyoto Expanse"

It has been two long weeks since the 12th expansion of the game that somehow managed to literally trap them into the actual game. Resting on one of the large Torii gates was a female in black. This was Shinobu Naoe otherwise known as Kagami a high level player that has been apart of the game for a while. Since being trapped in her healed her of fragile body Shinobu felt two things worry and elation finally she could do things that once limited her but at what cost? Though it seemed her thoughts was not meant to be for long as a large explosion took base in the center of town. Despite being based on Kyoto there was some more "fantastical" elements located around the city such as skyscraper tall Torii gates and a large dragon statue in the center of town.

Two weeks ...

Two weeks of food that looks good but has no flavor, and drink that is just as flavorless. That wouldn't be totally have been terrible if it wasn't for the boredom. The combination of not needing much gold to live, and not being able to die left some people deciding to take up mugging and player killing.

Though that didn't stop some people from still trying to go out and do things just to keep them selves busy. Dante, for the most part found him self just trying to get used to his new reflection and people calling him 'Chiziru'.

The most part, Dante ether hunted PKers down and introduced them to the business end of 'her' sword, or acting as a guard against PKers. Which turned out to be surprisingly effective once word got around about a Fox Tail Samurai decked out in Artifact Gear that reflects damage, and a high counter attack rate. Which tended to keep PKers away from who ever 'she' was keeping an eye on.

'She' was just coming back from guarding a Carpenter out looking for wood for something, when there was some kind of explosion. He was rather chatty while they where out, not that Dante minded. Much like in the game, a 'talkative party' generally makes things better.

After parting ways with the Carpenter, Dante decided to go see what the explosion was about.

Tirpitz, not many new the name itself, but the phantasmal signature attached to it was a legendary one. Ascendant Mage of the Astral Clocktower; That was the real attention grabber that if not everyone had heard of, had heard the legendary exploits of the sorcerer's title. Tirpitz however, liked to lay low. a character that was a female race of ritual while being a male in real life, had come about because he was a hormonal teenager, now this had come to bit him in the ass, because he was what many would call "moe" or a "loli" or even a "trap". It was his decision an he didn't have much of a choice now, but this choice was far better than the alternative he had left for himself back in the real world.

The past two weeks had been rough. the newly found 'She' had taken to renaming herself to avoid being hunted by people who decided it was wise to pick a fight with 'her' now. Changing from Tirpitz to Titania as a more fitting title, she had taken to helping some younglings survive, and as such, was in a much less norticable and less famous Garb as well as having lowered her level to thirty ione to help teach the young ones and keep herself off the radar. Walking on a road inside of Kyoto, or the city that was based upon it, she felt the center of town shake and rumble with an explosion. Rushing in towards the center, she held her wooden staff ready. anyone could read her level and stats:

Magical Craftsman Lvl 90

She seemed to be plunging into danger and while the idea of dieing and coming back was nice, she was still scared shitless of the thought, so it gave a shake to her hand as she was holding the plain wooden staff out, trying to figure out the cause of such an explosion and looking like a shooken up newbie while doing so.

Shinobu was able to quickly make it to the central being a cleric offered quite a bit of leeway not only by the other players but the people of the land as well. With that said she was able to quickly go through the large amount of people as they let her through as a "dedicated" healer one of the unspoken rules since the apocalypse was to let clerics go through certain events so that they can heal the injured quicker. The main reason of concern it seem was a large rock that seemed to have been sent flying from a large distance probably a catapult. She thought to herself she seen something like this before near Akiba before the apocalypse happened it was part of a spawned mob of ogre monsters. Weak mobs for most of the higher level people but for others it was a tough mob to fight ogres was similar to the goblin raids that happened near akiba but Ogres was known to be "clan" based mobs meaning small groups. So if they were able to get to the mob and defeat them it should be able to stop damage before it got worse.

"I am looking for a party im a level 90 cleric looking for escort into the back woods to deal with the ogres who is probably the reason behind this." Kagami exclaimed she hated displaying her level like this since after the apocalypse there was no way to broadcast it to the ones who would really be able to help.

Dante arrived at the source of the explosion to find it was not an explosion at all be a big ass rock some one had sent flying into the town.

"I am looking for a party im a level 90 cleric looking for escort into the back woods to deal with the ogres who is probably the reason behind this." A cleric said a few moments after 'she' arrived at the scene

"Ogres huh, guess that makes sense, this close to a town like this though? Could a sworn the average level for mods around here was much lower." 'she' thought as people mumbled a bit "Wow ... don't all jump up at once or anything ..." Dante snarked internally at the seeming lack of volunteers, before pushing through the crowd. "Chiziru, level 90 Samurai. If you want it, you have my Sword." Dante said once 'she' was sure the Cleric in question could actually see 'her'.

"ogres...." Said the girl as she sighed and walked up in her garb to the two who had so far wanted to set out to deal with these things. Her level was still hidden as she didn't see much of a point to trust others yet besides the newbies who certainly needed the help. However, this seemed like a good chance to explore some higher level players and maybe make some friends in the process. Seeing how accepting they were would probably be the first step to getting somewhere with them.

Stepping forwards, she held her staff out. "Level thirty one. Sorcerer, Call me Titania." She said looking around and between the two before her. Would these two take her word on it? She could only let time tell.

Hayakura kept a smile on his face as he walked down along a road, heading towards the city of Kyoto for one reason. He had just completed a quest for some villagers in a small town not too far off from the large city, and now that he had done that the poor male was completely clueless about the next step that he should take. I completed the quest, I made all of them so happy... they were offering me so many gifts for doing it. I-It was so much I felt like I couldn't accept all of it, practically treating me like their hero although I guess I was. He let out a small sigh as he said to himself, "I did some good work, with all the money I've saved up I could get so many things. Making connections does have its benefits."

Closing his mouth for a moment he twirled his scythe around in his hand as he officially entered Akihabara, his eyes scanning the place that he considered close to home. Ahhhh, it's so lovely. If only I- His thoughts were then interrupted when a small group of males came to block his way, each of them holding hideous grins as if they were trying to stalk prey. Almost immediately he noticed the 'not green' crystal over their heads, making the instant connection that he was definitely not with good company. Hayaura said with a disappointed glance, "Can't you find something better to do with your lives than resort to cheap tricks?"

The one who seemed to be in charge stepped forward as he spoke, "Hmmm? A lonely adventurer? If you fork over your money then maybe we won't go hard on you. Consider it a traveler's fee."

Clearly, these people must have been shut in for the past few months. Do they really not know who I am, like even my weaponry should say something about how strong I truly am. Knowing that he didn't want to get into a fight now he tried to go around the small party as he argued, "You should know my reputation precedes me, don't you fools already know?-"

The one in charge chuckled and said, "Oh, we know. And we don't care. You may be strong but how are you going to stand up to us, hmm? Want to bet your life on it? You versus a party of adventurers?"

Hayakura balled his fist while he looked at each member of the group, part of him wondering what luck led him to have to deal with this mess. I swear people only do this to try to make themselves look better. They think that they can do whatever they want so they cause a fuss and try to get their way. I don't want to have to deal with an annoying yellow marker though . . . this isn't fair . . . how many times in my life will I have to deal with people like this? Feeling tempted Hayakura asked, "Are you sure you really want to have a fight with me? You're all lower leveled then I am, that could be a disadvantage for you."

In fact, the group of three adventurers were much lower leveled then he was. Although he was at level 90 the three other people seemed to be around 60-70, and he knew that if he split them apart they would probably be no match for him.

"Ah thank you for volunteering" She spoke while yes apparently it was not a one life business like the supposed death game from that one anime. Though she was still a bit disheartened that even after two weeks people still refused to leave the city much if at all. No ones in Kyoto region of the Japanese server really left the city. Which by itself was saddening were they really ready to live their lives like this? "Still thank you for aiding me im afraid due to my class by myself I would be unable to do much of anything. Ah Titania was it? Will you be ok at your level I know ogres are ranging from 75 to 80 for levels and if preapred they can be taken down but are you sure your ready?" Kagami asked her voiced laced with concern even if people dont die she didnt want her whole crusade to be the cause of a forced respawn. "Ah forgive me for my rudeness my Name Shin- I mean Kagami its a pleasure to work with you today." She said as she led them towards the city exit "By the way do any of you need to stock up on any items I got enough healing and mana potions to go around so please tell me if you need any?" She quickly added as they reached the gate.

"No problem." Dante replied. "It's not like we can just ignore the Ogres" 'she' sighed, "Sides, what else is there to do right now?." 'She' asked as they walked a long. "It's been two weeks, no one save a handful of people is willing to leave the city, and the majority of them are PKing people."

'She' shook her head. "Sorry, I'm just frustrated." 'She' said intending to just leave it at that.

"ofcourse i'll be fine. I didn't hit level ninety in my subclass for nothing." Titania said, scratching the back of her robed head with a bit of a smile behidn the mask. At the moment, one of them wanted to do good and protect the town since nobody else seemed to be and the other on seemed to be observant. Close enough for a trustful group, the 'girl' figured.
As they walked, Titania closed her eyes and mentalally sorted the spells she would use in this. "Magic armor..." she said softly as they'd noticed her health bar (which was absurdly and unusually small to begin with) hide behind her mp bar which was uncharacteristically oversized for her level, more akin to something twice her level.

Even after he stared at them the male seemed to get no response from the three that faced him, all he saw were the smirks that covered their faces from the thought of acquiring his precious loot. After getting nothing from the people that threatened to fight Hayakura he spoke, "I'm not chicken to fight when I have to, I just don't see a point in wasting time and effort trying to fight some cowards that think they can just steal whatever they want and get away with it."

The party snickered before two of the three out their swords and saying, "Whatever, no point in trying to stall this any more. We'll just be taking your stuff now."

Almost as if it was a signal the two people with swords then charged at Hayakura, with both of them swinging their swords over their heads to come down with a vertical strike. Of course for the simple attack the male was ready to counter it, swinging his scythe up overhead to block both of the sword strikes with one effective block. Tch... looks like I have no choice.

Following that, the battle became a blur of blades clashing against each other. Even though he was facing off against two fairly skilled opponents he managed to hold his ground. Hayakura knew that his advantage in level was compensated for by the number of opponents he had to face by himself. But even then mostly the male was holding back, since part of him didn't want to get the yellow/red crystal above his own head. I can stall this out if I have to. I don't know how long it would take until these people give up. He then asked as sparks flew in the air, "Do you people work on your own or do you work for someone else, hmm? Answer me." As Hayakura kept note of his skills the leader of the pack laughed mischievously before speaking, "We don't have to answer that for you, we can't leave loose ends on this one."

Hyakura stared coldly towards the leader for a moment before having to dodge another attack from the two fighters who seemed relentless in their mission, something about this just didn't seem right. Like there was a bigger picture to this whole event. Who would... this is too fishy. I want to talk but- Because of the fact Hyakuya was taken away from his train of though he was then hit with back to back strikes from the sword duo, forcing his feet to grind into the dirt as he slid back. It was then he realized he had to make some sort of opening so that he could get answers from these people, because if not then who knew when the next round of attackers would strike. When one of the males used another sword skill to try to get through to him Hyakuya whipped out his shield to protect himself, and it was then that he made his move.

Using the strength he could muster Hyakura forced the first attacker to stumble back from his shield, the power he exerted being more than enough to force back the sword that pressed on it. With the male on the ground Hyakura swung his scythe in the air while another skill started to become available for use, thanks to the spinning of the scythe not only was the male powering up his attack but he also was able to use it to fend off the second attacker. Once he was ready he called out with his attack, "Aura Saber!" With one mighty swing downward Hyakura brought the blade of his scythe to slash across him, making the opponent's HP drop down to even lower levels.

After unleashing the attack he turned to the leader and said, "Loose ends? What're you talking about, you're making this sound more than just a simple snatch and steal.."

The man shook his head as he finally said, "I guess those two aren't enough? You're still running your mouth, maybe I should be a part of this so that you can shut up when three people are fighting you." Seeming tempted to join the fray the leader took out a purple/red dagger, running his finger along the blade as if he was out for blood.

"Very well if you are sure lets go than." Kagami stated as she walked towards the back forest while some cities like Akiba was playing politics with the people of the land Kyoto on the other hand was different. Kyoto both in real life and in game was considered a holy ground if you will meaning that as long as the adventurers respected the city they were willing to let them handle themselves. Kannagi based quests and themes became prevalent in the Kyoto region as there multiple quests and events that happened for them to take advantage of. Still it didnt stop others from benefiting from it due to the high level kannagis often had to hire teams to help them on the quests and raids that occured in the area. Thus while not bustling with life like Akiba Kyoto did have its fair share of people as well. "I hear sounds of combat please lets continue but be prepared for the worst." Kagami added pker's like Chizuru mentioned was the prevalent people around the area and as such they had to move carefully in case they were ambushed. Or in worse case the catapult was manned by a player who specialized in bow weapons which in the unlikely case it happened put them in a much more precarious position.

"If they are PKers, then there's no issue." Dante said and started toward the sounds of combat, and cast Keen Edge, Reflex Boost, Gain Immunity, and Soul Weapon. "Besides, if they PKers, it's best we remove them now, then have to deal with them on the way back."

Dante closed in on the sounds of battle quickly. Three targets, two where low on HP and one was still at full HP. Knowing how PKers work the one with full HP was probably hanging back. Dante lead off with Whirlwind Vacuum Slash, keeping 'her' voice low to keep the PKers from noticing 'her' till it was to late. Only one of the PKers was in range, the one with full HP. 'She' followed that up with Skull Splitter, to close the gap quickly before the Paralysis effect of 'her' opening attack faded.

The Paralysis faded, and the PKer turned to try and parry and counter Dante's follow up attack, only to end up eating a parry/counter from the Fox Tail, followed by a normal strike to the PKers gut, causing the PKer to back take a few steps back, yelling, demanding Dante identify 'herself', 'she' didn't, no words wasted on 'her' target, instead 'she' did a short hop forward, parried a knife thrust, a countered with Seal Throat Stab, leaving him unable speak, and wordlessly telling him to 'shut up' in the process, before finishing him off with Whirlwind Slash, 'her' Soul Weapon, which had been doubling her damage out put the whole time, delivering the final bit of damage.

Titania ran out upon hearing the noise, following the kitsune to the fight. Hearing the noise, she had seriously hoped it wasn't PK'ers. There was so much more that people could be doing. Actually trying to benefit other people or helping rebuild or figure out what was going on. However, her heart sank and the happiness ha disappeared. She knew that the target of the pk would be fine, but with the damage done to the two would be pk'ers, they'd be running off soon. now with their leader dead.

Standing infront of them, Titania now blocked off their only escape route. A series of events then occured, one which would probably be forever burned into the minds of those poor Pk'ers. They saw their last chance to escape alive before them, two high level players, well, relatively high to the little 31 before them. The first thing those with a keen eye would notice was a minor changing of the garb on the player. Mask was still there and so was the large robes draped over the player, but the gloves had changed as well as the foot wear as well as the way the robes draped over the under clothing.

The second thing was the level cap being released, however, this happened as both of them charged the sorcerer so they failed to take note, their panic and the charge leading them to miss the change. The two of them unleashed both of their most powerful attacks, one a fury of blows and the other a single decisive hit. Standing behind her, they both smiled, figuing they could get out of this scott free. that was when the sorcerer began to laugh. "Those were attacks?" she asked, turning to stare at them. In her hand was no longer her staff, but a wand. It began to glow as she spoke, staring at them, her MP/health bar seemed to have the most minor of scratches, which suddenly ticked back. The two of them stared in disbeleif at this.

"wait what?" asked one of them, staring and obviously afraid now.

"You see, you two are idiots for pk'ing and idiots at pvp. Look over the facts; my numbers, are bigger than your's. funny thing really, you get to a high enough level and you're basically untouchable. My wounds heal, faster than you can make them. You could try to pk me all day, and not make progress farther than that. I'm sure it'd be rousing to watch you two feebly attempt to damage me, i'd probably get a kick out of it too." she said and raised the wand, the tip a blood red as she took aim. "However, i promise you two that you will never Pk again. Lest you wish to enjoy me killing you much slower and much more painfully." Titania said as she cast the wand. "Astral Cannon." said the female, a ten second stream of death erupting from the wand, a unique spell that none of them had seen before, even more eerily in a blood red instead of the astral white/purple in a meter and a half across beam. It evaporated the two players, the rocks behind them and left a line of trees missing a rounded chunk or fallen out to about thirty meters.

Spinning the wand, the female slid it down into her bag and returned to look at the rest of the group. "Shall we go slay some ogres now?" the cheery voice asked, happy once more and seemingly cleared of the fog that had cluttered around her.

"In every world, once you die your gone. Yet this is not the case in this world no matter how many times you die you will be respawned do you understand DAVE" Kagami said a large smile spreading on her face as her hair covered her eyes. Some pkers though that since everyone else was to good the best bet would be the cleric. "So DAVE Will you please DIE for me?" She continued her smile only spreading as the would be assassin started to get unnerved and the knife he was going to hold to her through started to shake. Turning around she lifted her staff the smile still spread across her face. With a kick to the chest and swipe towards the stunned pks chest she slammed the staff on the head. Than as if on que arrows upon arrows made of light rained down on him. "No no no no you cant die yet DAVE I havent had my fun yet" She said as she healed him. "You know the best part of being a cleric DAVE? you see the best part of being a cleric Is I can hurt you till near death than heal you and continue the process over and over again till you lose my fancy"

"This this isnt right your a cleric what kind of cleric and can do this?" The pk Kagami named dave yelled as he fell on his behind and started to crawl backwards till his back hit a tree.

"You want to know DAVE? let me tell you I learned how to do all of this thanks to Menu-Sama."

"Ah fuck" the pk muttered as he noticed his escape was blocked by a tree.

"Now lets end this you bore me" Kagami said her face lost its smile and stared straight at him. "Diabolic Emission" She muttered as a large sphere of black energy floated above before slamming down upon him leaving a small crater where he once was. Turning around to face the party she casually tossed a empty potion bottle to the side as it shattered into pieces.

Hyakura felt like he didn't really want to have to deal with the third untouched opponent on top of the other two that had worked together to try to take him down. The male almost felt like having the third person getting involved would have at least evened things out for the triad of PKers, if not maybe even tipping in their favor. But before that possibility could be tested Hayakura was surprised to hear the sound of someone else coming to join the fray. There's no way, there's no way that this.. well I'm glad to have more members to this little fiasco we have going on here.

Thanks to the moment of confusion he was able to get a glance at who had come to his aid, a woman with purple hair and fox ears which were easy to notice. Once Hyakuya saw the one who killed the leader he knew that he would have to thank the 'Fox Girl' later after the other two were dealt with. A small smile came to his face as he heard yelling coming from the one in charge followed by his death, the scene was so shocking that the other two goons were almost horrified to hear it. One of the males mumbled, "They set us up.." Of course when the two tried to escape they were then faced with something that would shock them even more.

Hyakura let out a small sigh as he stepped closer to the two that tried to get away, his scythe slightly dragging on the ground to make a trail of dirt along where he walked. Before the male could get close enough he saw that another person come to keep the PKers from escaping blocking their only route so that they would have no choice but to fight. He grinned then as he said, "Well.. I guess I don't have to worry about cleaning this mess up alone after all."

Wow, one person very under leveled trying to stand up to the two of them? She has to have a trick up her sleeve, who in their right mind would go up against an opponent without a plan? They're sticking their necks out for me.. I need to see what's going on. I have the feeling . . everything is going to work out.

Keeping the smile on his face Hyakura watched as the mage interacted with the two fighters, acting as if she had everything under control. When he saw Titania's stats change drastically the male raised an eyebrow in slight shock, noticing that the girl's stats rocketed to a place that they normally wouldn't be. For some reason his instincts told him that it would be best to back away, just to make sure that he wouldn't be caught up in the aftermath of whatever she had in store for the two goons. Following through with his own plan Hyakura stepped back and watched the show, with his jaw dropping when the girl used the magic known as 'Astral Cannon'. Surely he knew that the magic the girl casted would be devastating to the weakened players, but watching the two getting evaporated was something that one could never get 'tired of'.

If I had interrogated them or had them brought somewhere for questioning maybe I could have pried answers out of them. Regardless he could tell that he now had to address the new situation. The fact that he was now being accompanied by not one, but two 'girls' that had bothered to help him mop up the mess. Part of him wondered how lucky he was to have managed to bump into this group of nice people, and it was because he was so interested in these new people that he hadn't even thought of the chance there could be more of them lurking...

Hayakura blinked when he heard the voice of another girl not too far away, seeming to have some vendetta with a guy named 'Dave'. The male turned towards that scene and then he was greeted by the sight of an assassin on the ground, trying to scramble away from the girl that rained arrows down on him and then healed him. Torture? Are you . . are you a part of the group . . this girl looks serious. Like the others, she's different. I . . . I will never try to piss off that healer. Choosing to remain a bystander Hayakura did nothing as the male was played with before she cast magic out of a bottle, the crushing force ably to pulverize him and make a crater where he once was.

If there was one thing that he could say about the three, he wouldn't know what to say at all. This was . . . A LOT to take in. The guy was speechless, his voice rendered obsolete by the drastic turn of events that unfolded all around him. The PKers were all obliterated, every last one of them. T-This is a party? A party of great adventurers I stumbled into? I... I couldn't be happier but . . they screwed my mind. Hyakura swung his scythe for a moment before jabbing the blade on the bottom of the weapon into the dirt underneath them, putting his weapon to rest so that he could speak to the three 'girls' properly.

With a smile Hyakura bowed slightly to the group before speaking, "And who are the three stunning ladies that I have the pleasure of meeting on this fine day? You've spared me the trouble of having to kill them alone, and for that I'm grateful. My username is 'Light Duelist', but for business associates I prefer that they call me Light. I feel that these people had more sinister plans. Because of the fact you have come to my aid, I wish that there was a way I could come to yours? Can I be of any service? I hear that you're off to slay some ogres, I could join you." And maybe at least be half the level of badass you three combined were..

"Was that really necessary?" 'She' asked as Kagami came out of the brush, and sheathed her sword.

"Chiziru" 'She' replied. "and you'll have to ask our cleric about joining up. I don't have a problem with it though." Dante added, and waited for the others to decide. Notably ignoring the drops from 'her' kill as she approached the Guardian.

"Wow, that cleric has some minor mental issues... not gunna stick... well... not even sure how lesbians work to be truthful as i never gave it too much thought... Oh well. Not going to stick my dick in that anytime soon." said the mage from behind her mask. the voice was certainly debatable to male or female, but the stat sheet identified the person as a female.

"I think any of us could have dealt with all those people easily, but It's been a while since i got angry so i figured i might as well vent the very few frustrations i have." Titania added to the group somewhat discussion going on. "Anyways, i think this would be majorly beneficial. Call me Titania by the way." she added as the lot of them all received invites to join 'her' party now. "having the benefits of a party would make things much much easier."

"sorry about that was really out of char I dont know what happened sorry." Kagami apologized either way she lead them forward with their new tag a long it was bound to be a bit easier. Accepting the party request that appeared before her. A hour or two later they walked into the encampent that was roughly put together with various pillaged items more than likely but as Kagami figured in the distance she saw a large pile of rocks and a large catapult sitting in the distance.

Hyakura smiled a bit when he heard Chiziru respond to his question, giving him her name on top of saying who to go to. As the fox girl approached him his eyes stayed on her, noticing full well that she seemed to ignore the drops and instead go to him. Chiziru sure is nice.. anyways. I have to go to the other girl, the cleric... I hope she isn't still angry. I would actually be concerned if she... I-I shouldn't have to worry about her! The male tried to shake his head to keep the cleric and Chiziru from invading his mind as he tried to see where the cleric was, since as she said his acceptance into the group would largely depend on her.

And yet when he thought about turning over to speak to the cleric he heard the other 'girl' talk about not wanting to stick her 'dick' in that. Now that was a whole different subject, a subject that made Hyakura's eyes shoot wide open as he stared blankly at Titania. What is this girl talking about? Why in the world is she talking about sticking dicks anywhere? She has no dick! Unless... could it be? A cross-dresser?!?!?!?! Hyakura shook his head rapidly as he whispered to himself, "No... no... a girl like that wouldn't be a guy, maybe this girl just likes talkin about dicks." He wasn't exactly what to make out from the words that came out of Titania's mouth, but he figured that maybe the girl was just disoriented from having to shoot the mega blast that she unleashed on the two PKers. Yeah, that's it. She's just tired from all the hard work... nothing to note from her at all... just forget it. There's something else I need.

Knowing what he had to do next Hyakura then turned to the healer and sent her a request to join her party, hoping that now he would get the chance to travel along with his newfound comrades. It didn't take long for him to get accepted into the group, and a casual smile came on his face as he received a notification saying that he was now a part of the group. Now, he would do his best to help them out with their own situation. The ogres. With the ogres threatening people he knew that they had to do something about it, there was no way the people inside could be left as victims to the monsters.

The male was slightly more relieved to hear the cleric talk as if she wasn't the 'psycho' that she appeared to be with the assassin, he felt that even taking the confession into heart that there was no way that any person should dare to try to mess with the healer. But at least he knew that if he were to tick the girl off maybe he wouldn't be tortured like the unfortunate soul that dared to cross her path . . . probably.

While keeping the smile on his face he then turned to Chiziru, confidently placing his hand on her shoulder for a moment as he said, "Hey, I don't know about you but I think it's time we kick some ogres out of this place."

Hyakura chuckled lightly to himself before pulling his hand away, meaning nothing else of it other than what he had said. Their party was going to kick some ogre ass and then they could worry about what to do next from there. He knew that his other problem could be addressed later, but for now saving the city was much more important.

Using that mentality the group started to head toward where the catapults were. Hayakura brought up in a hushed voice, "Maybe we should talk about our formation first? This is almost like a mini-boss fight.. so we need to work together to kill these pains off. I think that it would be best for Chiziru and I to take the lead, we could take their attention pretty easily with our blades. Then Titania could act as a mid-range attacker and our cleric can be the support. That way Titania shouldn't have to worry about being attacked as much, I think..-" Hyakura froze up at the end because of the thought of her possibly getting upset at him, even if she didn't go berserk like before he didn't want to end up on her bad side. He commented to clear the air, "At least I think that would be the best strategy. Anyone else got a better idea? I don't know how much time we have but I don't know if we have the time to scout out the location."
