Some details will be different, but I was planning for the reboot to start with the standoff and continue the story started here, as t2wave has suggested:

I would be down for that. Having an actual event be the start of an RP (meaning that there is existing tension) would be a good start to an RP. Anyone new could use that as a reason to show up because there's basically a war brewing.

From my understanding it's a reboot as far as, the meeting the initially stated this RP is irrelevant. Most of that was a plot line that never really got off the ground so could be written down to "They were called to Penrose to fight a larger threat but negotiations broke down."

The last fight here can be used as a springboard. So if you don't really want to use your old character then you could make new ones and these could become NPCs. Starting off with this fight being canon means there is a point of reference and we don't need to go through the whole awkward introduction process with everyone in the same place. It does however put everyone in the same area from the start. And anyone new can use the excuse that the growing magical activity in Penrose is cause for concern. Come for good or bad Penrose is at the epicenter is something larger. The new first post will likely clear some things up.

Note that I am not a CoGM for this at all but I believe that Ariamis is open to some imput. We've been communicating various things. If there is a concern then let us know.

Also note that I like your characters as they are. Their vendetta makes things interesting and I would like to build off of it if at all possible.

Out of everything, the old plot died when the old GM vanished without a trace.

I might return to the reboot. With my 4 characters since Zargoth's Champion list had 3 Champions on it. Heather, Sara & Fiona on it.

Thanks for clearing that up! I was just trying to understand what the plans for the RP where(not that I was planning I was leaving). Well Ilia and Umeko will still be the characters I will carry over.

Also for the other characters involved in the fight are we to just collectively decide how the rest of the battle went or does everyone just leave after Explosion?
