    Xaara is unassuming, standing at a height on the lower end of the interstellar average for her ethnicity and gender; a fact that has been often utilized to her benefit in busy crowds when tracking down contracts and escaping from various individuals. When considering her attire, Xaara prefers wearing simplistic synthetic fibers that are the norm among the lower income brackets though one thing that seems to be a recurring preference is a jacket derived of ballistic fibers and design to not only keep her warm but also protected by conventional weapons. Xaara’s hair is drawn roughly and at mid-length with her bangs held by unremarkable clips to keep them uniform and as a form to not obstruct her vision. Her hair, which was once blonde, has for several years of her life been dyed into a pale teal color. Her eyes, cerulean, appear reminiscent of her personality—cold, icy, and unforgiving.

B A C K G R O U N D

    Xaara was supposedly born in 2421 CE on the colonial principality of Ganymede.

    The authenticity of Xaara’s identity is in dubious waters at best, as evidenced by investigations into her legitimacy as a professional bounty hunter from various rivals over the last decade. Whilst there is documentation that appears to shut down any suggestion she is not who she says she is, there is also issues in confirming it. As per her dossier, Xaara has no living relatives, mentors, or childhood friends due to the pacification of their lives on Ganymede twelve-to-fourteen cycles ago. Some people suggest this coincidence is too convenient to be valid. Xaara’s personal preference to talk as little about her past as possible makes the issue quite difficult to prove or disprove.

    The events between her past and becoming a founding member of Absolute Magnitude are many—and likely seen as well-respected accomplishments for a woman of her relatively youthful age.

S T R E N G T H S

    Dexterous: Xaara realizes she needs to be quick to survive in tense situations despite her incessant need to be completely prepared for a scenario. She isn’t tall or strong so she has had to adapt to be quick and clever instead.

    Piloting: For many years, Xaara had to operate independently in her career as a bounty hunter and freelance pilot. She doesn’t boast any victories over pirates, smugglers, or renegade militants but the records that can be unraveled attached to her dossier shows that she has more than credentials to graduate from flight school.

    Sniper: Perhaps Xaara’s biggest asset is her ability to strike from a distance—with a high precision energy rifle outfitted with a multi-functional scope. Even beyond her capability as a fighter pilot is her talents as a long-range sharpshooter, a reality that has ended the careers of various criminals throughout the interstellar territories.

    Trained Combatant: Xaara appears relatively competent in terms of close quarters combat. A fact that encompasses archaic studies like swordplay but also the martial arts. Whether Xaara’s understanding of either forms come from could be anybody’s guess as she has made it abundantly clear that like her background she has no interest in sharing the facts of their origin.

W E A K N E S S E S

    Perfectionist: Xaara is finicky, almost to the point of madness—a fact that is abundantly clear in her methodology and belief that if you have to do something that you should do it correctly. This obsession with the details and preparations for things is a double-edged sword that has led her to argue incessantly on multiple occasions. For men and women of action, this trait can seem impossible to work with.

    Reclusive: Even amongst those close to her, Xaara remains a constant curiosity. This is, in part, due to her tendency to be reclusive and guarded about her past and experiences. This particular predisposition makes her seen as difficult and puzzling; a reality that has led to an amount of distrust between her partners and contacts. It brings the question—is she just antisocial or is she hiding something?

    Short: As aforementioned, Xaara is not particularly tall or imposing. She holds a somewhat athletic build due to her line of work, but this does not mean she can last any amount of time in a brawl without using her size and intelligence to her advantage. As such Xaara can count the volume of scenarios where a situation ended with her being pinned against a wall by her throat or thrown across a room.

    Socially Inept: As skilled as Xaara is with a rifle and blade, she is often limited in the profession when working alone due to the fact that she is socially inept; so much so that she cannot comprehend why people are angry when she gives a blunt, matter-of-fact response that seems to have an absence of empathy or relatability. It is this reason that she’s a notoriously bad investigator when she doesn’t have a trail to follow from a potential target or a partner that can handle the social aspect of gathering information.

    Standing at 5’1”, Penelope is admittedly not a very tall girl; a situation that makes it very difficult for her to be spotted in a large crowd; a double-edged sword. She wears thick-rimmed glasses to correct her eyesight. In terms of attire and dress, she admittedly doesn’t think about it very distinctly. Her hair is often worn loosely with a few brush strokes and her clothing choice isn’t really fashionable – a slightly oversized hoodie is fine for her. This bookish and seemingly apathetic manner has certainly played a part in her local social life.

B I O G R A P H I C A L I N F O R M A T I O N

    Penelope’s childhood and life experiences is pretty insignificant by all measures and at fifteen years old the only noteworthy thing that has happened in her life was a pretty run-of-the-mill divorce that preceded her mother’s untimely death to cancer a month before she started high school. But her mother’s death didn’t cause her to be a recluse or disinterested in making friends. In fact, she was of the bookish and shy variety long before her parent’s divorce five years ago. When Penelope was kidnapped, she was on her way home from the library in an innocuous afternoon. Safe to say, Penelope wasn’t very good at running from her captors; even in a neighborhood she was completely familiar with.

    As a captive, Penelope tried to keep her emotions under check and keep her eyes open for any clues and information to help her get away from the painful experiments brought on upon her. Prior to the manifestation of her gene ability she figured that focusing on her memory would be the only way she could survive before things got worse.

G E N E A B I L I T Y

    The tampering of Penelope’s genetics has led to the development of psychometry, a powerful ability in its own right that both Penelope and the scientists that forced it upon her have yet to fully understand. In its earliest and most basic state, it serves as an extension of her photographic memory to the point that she obtains inklings and sometimes outright memories pertaining to the object she is interacting with. How far this can develop remains to be seen, but the scientist assigned to her development believes it has a great amount of potential in recollecting information and perhaps fundamentally (and permanently) learning and experiencing things in an instant.

    Player’s Note: Due to the territory psychometry tends to bring up, I feel like I should mention that I have absolutely zero intent to abuse the power and circumnavigate any metagaming rules. This is me just creating a character and realizing that psychometry fits them best in the character development process. Extensive (aka high tier abilities) powers such as psychometric telepathy, tactile telepathy, and talent replication would be things that would be need to be discussed if it’s necessary for the story to develop those powers. As I see RPing as a collaborative effort over a competitive one, I assure you any ideas will be discussed if the power is acceptable at all.

S K I L L S

    Despite her current situation, Penelope is still a rather mundane high school student and as such she doesn’t really have much for knowledge, ability, and experience. In fact, outside of her peculiar mind her attributes are fairly average across the board – she has a good metabolism, she has decent stamina, she can keep up with gym exercises to a bare minimum, and has poor eyesight without corrected eyewear. What she has beyond that isn’t much; and given her niche knowledges about pop culture and art all she seems to have in worthwhile skills is fluency in three languages (english, french, and latin), musical talents, observational skills, and a photographic memory. Essentially, if you need to remember what color someone’s shoe was from four hours ago or how to tune an instrument, Penelope is your girl. If it’s anything else she might not be that useful to you.

O T H E R I N F O R M A T I O N

    Penelope can be considered an outcast in her high school, lacking any fundamental amount of friends and following her mother’s death in a collision has withdrawn any interest to. With this in mind, she isn’t completely lacking in socialization due to her involvement with internet communities and discussion groups, though she has no distinct relationships with individuals in said groups outside of being known as a member of the community.

    Had Mars not been destroyed by The Imperium, perhaps M’gann would be the spitting image of the Martian Manhunter’s daughter. In her near human form M’gann has adopted shoulder length red hair and a uniform that is reminiscent of her mentor with the inclusion of a shirt and skirt. In her human from she adopts a Caucasian appearance in addition to her shoulder length red hair with her choice of clothing changing from day-to-day within various neo-Gothamite fashions that appeal to her.

A B I L I T I E S

    Due to her Martian Physiology, M’gann holds the same amount of vast metahuman abilities that the only other Martian survivor, J’onn J’onzz, holds. Despite that fact, M’gann however is immeasurably less experienced and has physical and mental limitations regarding her particular powerset that she has yet to overcome. These abilities range from superhuman strength, levitation, shapeshifting, intangibility, invisibility, telekinesis, and telepathy. J’onn himself has stated that she is the most powerful prospective telepath he has ever seen, though the depth of her ability to control the power has yet to be mastered. Only time will tell.

W E A K N E S S E S

    Martians are immensely weak to fire and thermal energy, the latter of which having become common since the advent of energy weapons in the early 21st Century. Additionally, much like her kinsman and mentor, M’gann holds an adverse psychological aversion to fire and this can be seen in her struggles to think clearly when a building is engulfed in an inferno -- since the majority of her powers are based on her mental focus, a simple fire can cause her to lose focus and therefore easily be defeated. Beyond these pyrophobic issues, M’gann is also not as rational or impartial as her mentor; instead being emotional and oftentimes irrational. This can lead to bad judgement calls, irrational actions, and other sentiments that could be used against her.

N O T E S

    A DCAU interpetation of the character; I am on the fence if the schism between the white martians and green martians happened in this canon since The Imperium look similar to the white martians, which changes some factors of her alienation. Also, there will never ever be a “Hello, M’gann!” moment. Ever.

S Y N O P S I S

    House Tully is the ruling house of The Trident -- also known as The Riverlands -- whom hold their seat at Riverrun. The current ruling lord of the house is Medgar Tully.

M I L I T A R Y S T R E N G T H

    The strength of The Trident is significant. Whilst relationships with other members of the Seven Kingdoms have been cautious due to the ramifications of alliances, where The Trident lacks in political power they hold in their personal strength including military and economic strength -- though they are certainly not the strongest in either of those areas they are nonetheless valuable as allies and members under the Iron Throne.

    The strength of The Trident is roughly 45,000 - 50,000 swords, likely comparable to a lesser extent to The Reach. Unfortunately, the strong personalities of the river lords lead to fractious divisions as much is clear as rivalries’ and contentment’s still exist today. It is said that two of the major houses, the Brackens and Blackwoods, could easily cause issue and historically have caused problems helping to paralyze the region. The ratio of foot-to-horse is likely fairly high, standing at around 3-to-1. Houses on the major rivers will have barges, galleys, and skiffs while the masters of Seagard, Maidenpool, and other port holdings own a fair amount of major ships for coastal defense. The major contributions to naval strength is House Mallister, House Mooton, and House Cox.. Additionally, the Trident hosts some of the finest archers in Westeros that hail north from Dorne.

    A beautiful young woman of six and ten, Aelora Targaryen has inherited her grandmother’s Dornish complexion and the typical High Valyrian traits expected of a Targaryen including long flowing ivory hair and azure pupils. Aelora’s modest [albeit trained] physical appearance has been said to be offset by her personality and interests – the Targaryen girl’s appeal less so than her slightly younger sister due to the fact Daenora has more of a “womanly” presence. This aside, Aelora is not unattractive and her interest has been often sought after and not only for the political gains of House Targaryen.

    The firstborn child of Rhaegel Targaryen and the twin sister of her brother, Aelor, Aelora Targaryen was impatient even before she was born. In her youngest years in her childhood home of Summerhall, Aelora was for the most part left to her own devices with her siblings. Aelora’s only interests during this period of her life were rather limited to her pride as a Targaryen, interest in Valyrian history, and fearless ventures around Summerhall of which her brother attempted to dissuade her from doing with little success. These ventures would eventually lead to a lecture by her mother – a lecture she refused to listen to as she felt it didn’t apply to her due to her bloodline as in the young Aelora’s mind rules didn’t apply to those bearing the name Targaryen; such defiance of her betters wouldn’t cede Aelora of discipline, however.
