i dont mind playing a Raider, but ive noticed some IC posts already. I've never played a tabletop game over forum before. is that normal?

Like you, Infamous Empath, this is my first tabletop game played on a forum for me. I actually have a tabletop RP I want to post up here one of these days, but feel I need to experience one; this one before I start my own. I'm sure @PrivateVentures will be gentle in popping our cherries. ;)

My character is not a techno wizard. She is just a killer. I may breath math, but from what PV has explained I don't need to use it during this RP.

thats cool. ok...so can i ask another annoying question? how many players do you have approved and ready to play? and what class do you need/not need? cuz i could probably play any class, though i prefer raider types.

@Infamous Empath To be honest, I'm taking anyone who wants to join. Anyone who joins and fades away into the night I can easily kill off, and anyone who wants to join after its gotten started, I can easily work into the storyline through capturing, picking up hitchikers, etc.

Thus far, the only guys who have been fully active here are @Ryougu and @Gunther, with @LordofthePies, to a slightly lesser degree. I think he's just busy at the moment, though, as he's got a character worked out and everything.

We don't really need any specific type of character. It's all about teamwork. Hell, it could work even if everyone played mechs. They wouldn't be persuasive or have interesting conversation, but it would work. If you want to play Raider, hell, play Raider.

And don't worry about asking questions. That's part of the game. I welcome questions, if they'll help you understand and enjoy it.

Feel free to create anything, (within reason), and I'll do my best to incorporate it into the world. That's the fantasy, right?

Hey, @Gunther just noticed that your SMG is labeled as both "Displacement" and "Gas Operated". Displacement weapons aren't projectile weapons, they essentially release a bolt of pure kinetic energy that expands on impact. Sure, it's fictional technology, but the difference is that Displacement weapons have zero penetrative capability, while projectiles, by their very nature, are penetrative weapons.

i found these photos i really like. would i be able to play as any (or all) of these types of characters? obviously, most of them would fit the raider/beserker or thief/rogue role since they arent too armored.@PrivateVentures
