I like the idea but their powers don't manifest (at all) until they enter the facility. There have been no signs, hints or even 'dormant' passive effects before this so that wouldn't quite work for Rika's back story.

@Jinxer Rika hasn't shown any of his abilities or any hint of them. The not aging is due to a rare disease, where the body doesn't pass puberty

That still wouldn't quite fit in with the lore of the RP. Think of the world as being as ours until this event, with no magic or powers of any kind in existence until after the start of the RP, including illnesses that can only be described as mystical in nature.

@AnnieTimeNow We haven't started yet so I'm still taking apps. I will be screening them a little more now since we're at my minimum character limit now but feel free to submit one.

@Jinxer That's fine but he isn't showing any symptoms or signs of his abilities? What exactly doesn't work in his history? I can fix it but right now I don't know what doesn't make sense.

The physical ageing aspect seems unrealistic, in the context of no powers existing prior to this. Also the history of being raised by monks is a bit 'out there' for me. Although I didn't say it explicitly, the residents of the facility will have mostly led fairly normal lives up until now instead of something that feels a little mystical.

Also, could you put the CS in a hider/spoiler? The image is large and might cause issues for people using RPG on mobile devices.

@Jinxer The aging is completly possible, I can't remember the exact name of the disease, but it is possible. I can however change his backstory so he isn't raised by monks if that is what you'd like?

I acknowledge that it's possible but its not in keeping with the general gist of the RP, its idea and aims.

In terms of backstory, although there is no such thing as 'normal' they should have led a relatively 'normal' or 'mainstream' life. That does not mean that it should be bland and that it can't be unique. simply that it should be relevant. Other character sheets posted so far have a good grasp and show a decent variety of character backgrounds, it may be worth looking over them for examples and inspiration.

Height: 5'8" Hair: Blonde with a slight curl, about belly button length.
Eyes: A combonation of blue/gray that can almost appear purple at times. Other: Rachel is slim, with a slightly althetic build.

Age: 20 Born on December 23

Sexuality: Heterosexual

History:
Rachel never knew much about her family. Her father vanished without a trace as soon as he found out that her mother was pregnant. When she was barely even 6 months old, Rachel's mother died of breast cancer. After her mother's death,, it was made clear that no one else in the family wanted to take responsibility for the baby so she immediately was sent into the world of foster care. Rachel was never adopted, but at 18 she left foster care to make it out on her own. With no one to help support her, Rachel had almost zero money so a higher education was never going to be an option. She began working 3 different jobs, and soon enough had the means to rent out a tiny apartment. Her entire life so far was just trying to get ahead of debt and just make ends meet.
Through her entire life, Rachel always seemed to be a resipient of other's pity. When you're an orphan I guess that just tends to happen. But she wasn't really sad, in her mind she had never really known her parents or family and there just wasn't enough time for self-pity. That was until she became sick with no idea what the cause was. Rachel didn't get sick, that was the weird part about it. She never had to take a sick day off of work in her life until now. Working three jobs was the only way that Rachel could support herself, there just wasn't time for her to be sick.

Power:
Healing - Though to start it is very weak and she can only heal small scratches and bruises on herself which basically goes unnoticed. Her body also fights off/minimizes sickness like the common cold.

As time goes on (we aren't at this point at all yet) and her powers become stronger, the healing comes with a cost. On her own body, healing requires a lot of energy. It can leave her feeling pretty drained, even more drained for more serious healing.
Eventually she can help heal other people which is even more costly to her own self. The injury/sickness that she attempts to heal transfers over onto her own body. However, she feels a more extreme version of the pain or sickness she is healing from the other person. Her body then heals itself. This causes crippling exhaustion for Rachel and, depending on the sickness/injury, though the other person will be mostly completely healed, she could potentially not even have the strength to heal herself.

Other:
-Rachel has a very self-sacrificing personality, she will do almost anything if it meant someone else would be happier for it.
-Loves food
