[IC] The Room

*Lecter sighs*
Lecter: Who did she kill? Things aren't always what they seem.
*The Devil Hunter takes half a step towards Anderson*
Lecter: Do you have proof of your authority? Some seal, or what have you?

[Vulkan 707]

Jillian: If you wish for death insult my honor one more time.
*Jillian sighs but nods to Silvan.*
Jillian: These murders were of the innocent, or the guilty? Tell me the truth, or I end you.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Anderson glares haughtily at Lecter and displays his surcoat on his chest. It's white with blue trim and a blue oakleaf in the middle*
Anderson: This is all the proof I require! I wear the colors of the Order of the Oakleaf. My kin and I are recognized throughout the land!
*He glares at Silvan as the now former Oakleaf Knight answers*
Silvan: Well... Lady Mergoux's brutality was... if you'll pardon me, inhumane. But no, she did not harm any apparent innocents. She attacked a few warehouses belonging to crime guilds, and a stopped a few muggings rather... violently.
*He shudders as he remembers the sights he saw as Mergoux nods approvingly*
*Anderson goes to draw his sword*
Anderson: That doesn't matter! She is a monster! She is coming with us to be executed!
*The other 3 knights go to draw as well*

*Should Jillian go to shoot them Mergoux shakes her head and puts a hand on her shoulder*
Mergoux: No! This is my fight. I'll take care of these... dogs...

[Vulkan 707]

*Jillian frowns.*
Jillian: O..kay.. you do relies I can kill them all before you could blink?
*She shrugs, not wishing to argue.*
Jillian: Alright, good luck.

*Lecter looks around at the knights and sighs*
Lecter: I'm with Jillian on this. But if you want to end them yourself, so be it. Should you need help, my blade is ready.
*sounds completely calm, almost distant even, as he speaks, and the Devil Hunter's gaze never wavers from Anderson*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux unslings her massive sword and growls*
Mergoux: I won't need help.
*The first knight rushes her, she sidesteps and trips him, while jabbing her elbow into the second knight's jaw. The wounded knight limps towards her fearfully. She bull rushes him and shoulder bashes him, sending him tumbling to the ground.*
*She then turns to deflect a swordstoke from the second knight as the first one picks himself up. Their blades clang together for several seconds before she knocks his aside and stabs him through the throat.*
*She yanks her blade out in a spray of blood only to stumble forwards as Anderson charges her and slams into her with his shield*
*He and the other two knights begin to attack her all at once, all she can do is block with increasing desperation as they move to try and encircle her*
*Silvan draws his sword, but hesitate to attack his former companions*
Silvan: Um...Help her!
*He leaps into the fight as Mergoux cries out in pain, Anderson having found a chink in her armor and stabbed her under the arm*

*Lecter growls as Merg gets stabbed and moves forwards with am inhuman speed, his form changing into a ghastly replica of itself*
*The Devil Hunter lunges at Anderson with an arm blade, his eyes now a pure black*
Lecter: Should have just died.

*Karma just flies in circles around the fight*

[Vulkan 707]

*Jillian's hand is a blurr, as she dispatches the two knights with two precise shots to the eyes.*
*She quickly reloads her magnum, and stands ready to fire again.*
*Watches Lecter, and notes his strange form shifting.*

[Overlord Thraka]

*The knights sink to the ground, very dead as Mergoux roars and launches herself after Lecter*
*Anderson grunts as Lecter's blade sinks into his shoulder and raises his own sword to strike back, but he never gets the chance*
*Mergoux brings her blade down on his head, splitting it cleanly in two down to the neck*
*Blood sprays everywhere as Anderson's corpse crumples to the ground*
*Mergoux holds her bleeding wound with one hand, while glaring around with the other*
*Silvan is in awe of Jillian, and turns towards her*
Silvan: M-miss, be you a mage?

*Lecter looks down at the corpses and sheathes his blade before resuming his original, human form*
Lecter: You alright, Mergoux? I saw him hit you.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux nods and holds her wound, which is bleeding but not too badly*
Mergoux: I'm fine...
*She looks between the 3 others grudgingly*
Mergoux: Thank you...

*Silvan is too busy vomiting at the sight of a head cleaved in two to really pay attention*

*Lecter nods, and is low key disappointed with Silvan*
Lecter: Don't mention it. They deserved to die.

*Karma lands on one of the corpses and starts picking at it*

[Vulkan 707]

*Jillian frowns at Merg, and shakes her head to Silvan.*
Jillian: No not a mage, I'm a gunslinger.
*Starts walking back to the room.*
Jillian: C'mon let's go inside then.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux glares at Silvan*
Mergoux: And what about this one?
*Silvan looks over at Mergoux and bows his head*
Silvan: Lady Thalia...
Mergoux: Don't call me that!
Silvan: Er.. sorry, Lady Mergoux... I would speak with you once you are healed and rested.
*Mergoux studies him briefly then nods and follows the others*
*Once inside she takes off much of her armor and starts treating her wound, which is worse than she let on.*
Mergoux: So... I'm guessing you two have questions yes?

*Hanna goes back to her room after smelling blood off of Merg*

*She curls up in her bed and sleeps*

*Lecter shrugs*
Lecter: From what I can tell, you're a vigilante. You take the law into your own hands, and kill anyone who mistreated others.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris watches Hanna go off and then goes to find Horus again for more alone time*

*Mergoux winces as she bandages her wound up as best she can*
*She nods to Lecter*
Mergoux: Correct. All too often the so called 'law' is too lenient on scum like that.
*She glowers, especially at Jillian cause she's still sour Jillian saw her without her helmet*

*Lecter shrugs*
Lecter: I avoid courts. The Devils I fight are a different kind.
*The Devil Hunter smirks*
Lecter: Mine don't normally wear suits. Now, you should rest, you're wounded.
*Lecter's own wound had healed entirely when he had changed forms, not that it's visible under the bandaging Jillian gave him*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux nods to Lecter*
Mergoux: I will... I'll have to bandage it better too... I wish there were more clerics around here...
*She nods respectfully to Lecter and Jillian, as she does now respect them, having seen their combat prowess*
*She walks off to her room before bandaging up her wound more effectively and pulling out a bottle from her bag. She drinks herself into unconsciousness, as it's the only way to avoid the nightmares that plague her sleep normally*

*Lecter nods to Merg as she leaves, and he sighs*
Lecter: I'll be outside. Need to get some fresh air.
*The Devil Hunter steps outside and sits down against the wall, completely unbothered by the sounds of Karma feasting on the dead*
