Ramona didn’t notice at first that Jesse was calling to her. When she did, she startled a little and stuttered, “Um! N-no thanks. I’ve got to drive later.”

She decided to stop being weird and lonely and stood up, sticking herself back to Lila’s side. Lila had pulled a can of lukewarm beer out of her purse and was sipping from it.

“You gonna be social for once?” Lila asked with a trace of a laugh in her voice.

“Heh, I’ll try. No promises.”

“I’ll help you, then.”

“What? No-“

Lila slung an arm over Ramona’s shoulder and practically dragged her to the others.

“Hey, guys! Ramona here needs to get out of her shell!”

Ramona hid her face behind her hands. This was it. She was going to die. Of embarrassment.

Ramsy pulled out a zip lock bag with weed in it and a few paper to roll them up in. he had 2 others already made. Hey man...you look like you need some of this more than me. "Your boys? Just give me some shit!" Jesse was ready to prove his fake gun-ho attitude even if it meant forgetting this whole damn party. ..And maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to wake up and someone else's bed..He looked at the two girls.

"No, I'm good for now." Delilah said with a laugh, and a shake of her hand. She was more interested in a drink. Speaking of.

"Jesse, right? Can I have a drink of that?" She asked a little shyly, extending her hand. Delilah turned her attention to Lila and her friend Ramona. She had seen the two around, and knew their names, but that was about it.

"She needs to come out of her shell, huh? Maybe something to drink? Or some of what Rams has?" Delilah nodded her head in Ramseys direction. She shrugged.

"If we're all that's coming, I'm gonna head inside." Delilah went up the stairs that lead to the front doors of the school and did just that. She went inside and made her way to the cafeteria.

"G-get that the f-fuck away from me!" He dropped the flask and wiped his hands as if it could give him a disease. When Ramsey came to him and offered him..."Is that weed?" He backed up. Is this what parties are like? He noticed that Delilah had went in and he sighed. How could he had even thought he had a chance? He dragged his feet as he walked inside, stepping into the cafeteria. He sat down as far away as he could from Delilah and started scrolling on his phone. After a bit, he gagged. A disgusting smell was wafting through the vents. He looked up curiously.

Eugene had strayed from the group, he lifted the seat from his bike and revealed a bottle of Grants whiskey, he'd thrown the bottle of beer he received from Jesse to the side of the school parking lot, he did notice the others had brought whiskey themselves but honestly he didn't like the thought of drinking with them. Twist and off came the lid, he let some of the liquid pour into his mouth before closing it and putting it back in the motorbikes secret compartment. As the others came he grew more and more bothered, people were going to be asking him for some of his whiskey, they all knew, he always had it on him, so he prepared for the inevitable and pulled the bottle back out. He knew people were looking at him, everyone thought of him as some kind of badass, god he hated the title "school badass", he did specifically see Delilah staring, he even made eye contact before she looked away to talk to someone.

Delilah had been sitting at the If he end of the table that Aaron had been sitting at, and suddenly huffed, quite exaggeratedly. She got up and left the cafeteria. If this was a party, it was a terrible one without music. Maybe that would make the place a little more lively.

Delilah made her way to the principles office and pulled her phone out. Turning some of her music on, she placed the phone next to the microphone and turned it on, so that the music could be heard throughout the school. "On My Mind" by Ellie Goulding was the first song that played, and Delilah grinned.

She then left the office, walk-dancing her way back to the cafeteria. As she turned a corner, she saw something from the got me of her eye. Delilah turned her head and looked, but there was nothing there. She stared for a moment longer before continuing back to the cafeteria.

"That's much better, right guys?" She asked to everyone there. ""Fuck It. Jesse, can I have a beer?" She needed to loosen up a bit.

When Delilah huffed suddenly, Aaron was considerably confused, but was mostly preoccupied with the smell. It was definitely coming from the vents. He stepped up onto the table and reached for the vent. His fingers grazed it. He quickly began to get frustrated. He stepped down and set a chair on top. Then, finally, he could reach the vent cover. He jimmied it out of place and took it off. Almost immediately, something large fell on top of Aaron. He collapsed onto the ground. The smell was ten times worse up close, and Aaron almost wanted to throw up. When he got it off, he shouted. The stench was coming from...a body. And that was when the doors shut.

Delilah laughed and used the edge of the table to pop off the beer lid. Just as she took a drink, she saw Aaron climbing up onto the table. Her brows furrowed and she walked over to him, looking up. Then, she smelled it too. "Good God, what is that smell?" She asked as she continued her to watch.

Suddenly, something fell through and on top of Aaron. Delilah gasped and jumped back. She quickly set her beer on the table and went to help Aaron. Once he was free from whatever had fallen, Delilah really looked and her hand covered her mouth. It was a body. "Jesus Christ!"

Eugene quickly made his way to the commotion, not noticing the school doors close shut.
"The fuck happened here?"
He placed his whiskey to the side, which he doesn't normally do, and inspected the corpse, a dead man, stunk like shit, how long had it been there. "Aaron, c'mon.", he held out his hand to try and pull him out.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!" He screamed, terrified. The body's blood had gotten onto his clothes. He crawled out rapidly and sat up. "What k-kind of fucking prank is this! You fucked up assholes!" He looked around wildly, not thinking straight. "Y-you guys lured me here, made me think I could be something, then you do this?!" He shook. Why...why the fuck is there a fucking dead body? "You guys fucking killed someone for a j-joke?" He shuddered, and backed away from them.

Ramona blushed even more and sputtered a little when she was offered weed. "I-I can't. I have to drive."

As the party started to move inside, she rushed ahead into the cafeteria to get out of the uncomfortable situation. At that point, she didn't care about looking like a high-strung weirdo.

She picked a table at random and sat down, pulling out one of the books she brought. She would gladly be that complete nerd who brings a book to a party if it meant not being shoved into everyone's attention.

Lila strolled into the room and looked at her friend disapprovingly before shrugging and taking out the beer cans she had brought in her purse.

"These are up for grabs if anyone wants."

Both girls jumped at the loud noise and following commotion. They came closer and saw what had happened. Lila was incredulous and Ramona felt tears come to her eyes (partially from the smell).

"What the fuck?! Is that a fucking person?!"

Neither of them noticed the doors shutting.

"shit, man, get a hold of yourself, we wouldn't fucking kill anyone for a practical joke. Holy fuck, look, get yourself cleaned up and we'll call the police right now.", Eugenes' only attempt to suppress the situation, why the fuck was there a dead body in the school. "Delilah call the police, NOW!", he chucked his phone to her and then continued inspecting the body getting blood on his own clothes, instead of pressing the matter further he stepped back.

Aaron took a deep breath. "O-okay. Thanks, Eugene. I'm sorry. I-I'm just used to being fucked with by people. Not to mention somebody here killed that guy." He turned to Delilah. "It's okay, I'll call the police." When he took out his phone, he was obviously struggling with it, eventually throwing it across the room. When he finally understood what happened, his face paled. "My phone. It wasn't working. No service, no wifi, nothing. Which means someone tampered with our electronics. We're completely cut off from the outside world. We have no way to communicate, no way to get out." He turned towards the doors. "We're locked in with a killer."

Jesse lost all inner beliefs in his fake badassery. "Oh shit! " he said, grabbing the sided of his head. "what do we do?"

Ramona was completely frozen in place, her heartbeat getting quicker by the second and bile rising in her throat. Phones weren’t working. The doors were locked. Someone was dead. Someone killed them.

Aaron’s words, “We’re locked in with a killer,” finally broke her. She sobbed and ran to the other side of the room. She leaned against a wall, collapsed to her knees, and threw up what little she had eaten that day. She tried hard to even out her breath but it wasn’t working.

Lila was desperately dialing 911 over and over, hoping if she tried enough times, it would work. She covered up her fear with anger, yelling at her phone, “Come on! Why aren’t you working?!”

She quickly got fed up with her phone and threw it on the ground with a frustrated shout. She took deep breaths, running her hands through her hair, and walked away from the scene. She grabbed a can of beer and started drinking, silently daring anyone to criticize her coping method.

Delilah had tried several times to call the police, with Eugenes phone. Lila had tried. Aaron had tried. No one was getting through. They were all locked in the school with someone that had apparently killed someone. Who the hell was It? The body was so messed up, you couldnt tell who it was.

Delilah had been pacing back and forth in the cafeteria, pinching her bottom lip between her fingers as she thought. Her music still played over the speakers in the school, and that was only going to give the bastard more cover. She stopped and looked up at one of the speakers in the corner of the room.

"That music needs to go. If that killer is still in here, he'll use it against us." She looked around the room at the frightened people before her. "It's gotta get turned off. Who will go with me?"
