“Sounds good by me,” Jen says as Maui and Aura agrees with Oliva.

"Alright, Ariel, let's start this off strong and try out our new move!" Chuck said, activating his Z-Ring. He performed the new dance they learned and called out "Hydro Vortex!" Going off the power of her Bubble Beam, the Brionne surrounded herself in water and began spinning around Probopass, trapping it in a giant water tornado and dealing massive damage.

Jen is happy that Shiranui is fine with the arrangements as she watch the battle.

Probopass was hit and Lycanrock was ordered to use Accelarock.
“Counter with Water Pulse!” Liam called. The ball of water hit the rock Pokémon, and knocked it back. Olivia ordered a Thunder Wave on Ariel.

"Ariel, Substitute into Bubble Beam!" Chuck called out. By sacrificing some of her health, the Brionne created a substitute that took the Thunder Wave, leaping away from where she was and doing a backflip firing a blast of bubbles at the Probopass.

“Hydro, use Water Pulse on Liam ordered. The attack fired off and landed a direct hit, confusing the Lycanrock in the process. Probopass took the hit, but got back up.

"Ariel, Aqua Jet before he can fully recover!" Chuck said. The Brionne surrounded herself in water and launched towards the Probopass.

Probopass was hurt greatly by the maneuver. Lycanrock was able to pull off the rock type z move, and aimed it toward Ariel. Hydro quickly shoved Ariel aside and docked into his shell to cushion the attack.

"Thanks Liam, and thank you Hydro!" Chuck said, giving his friend a thumb's up. Ariel stared in shock at the Blastoise risking itself to save her and began to well up with emotion, then determination to not let it go to waste. Suddenly, she started glowing and evolved into Primarina. "Wow, nice one Ariel! Now, let's finish this with a Sparkling Aria!" Chuck said. Ariel nodded and began singing, creating many bubbles that fired off at both the Probopass and the Lycanroc.

"Hydro! Mega Evolve and use Aura Sphere on Probopass!" Liam said activating the Mega Ring. The Aura Sphere, powered up by Wonder Launcher made a critical hit on Probopass and hammered a huge amount of damage. (Base 80, Wonder Launcher, Double Weak, and Critical) Both attacks hit and KO the targets.
Olvia Praised them for the excellent battle and was intrigued by the power of Mega Evolution. She handed each of them a Rocknium Z and healed her Pokémon for the next challenge.
Liam in the meantime hugged Hydro, happy at the good job he had done alongside Ariel, praising her as well.

"We make a great team Liam! Ariel and Hydro, you both did excellent!" Chuck said, congratulating his friend, and their Pokémon and taking the Z-Crystal.

"Tsuchi, I choose you!" Shiranui's Mudbray came out to battle as Michiru's partner. Olivia sent out a Midnight Lycanroc and the Probopass from before; and offered the challengers the first move.

Jen activate her z ring as she does the water dance with Michiru “Hydro Vortex.” Going off the power of her Whirlpool, Buizel surrounds herself in water and starts spinning around Lycanrocting it in a great water tornado causing massive damage.

"I see Jen likes the all-out approach too." Chuck said with a chuckle.

"Tsuchi, High Horsepower at Lycanroc!"
"Probopass, Rock Slide; Lycanroc, Continental Crush at Buizel!" Lycanroc barely survived the Hydro Vortex as Olivia performed the dance for Continental Crush. Shiranui noticed the dance moves were the same as the dance used to activate the power of a Lycanium Z and deduced the dances were specific to type. A huge rock was dropped on Buizel and Tsuchi retaliated, charging in and delivering a powerful blow with his hind hooves, knocking Lycanroc out and giving Jen and Shiranui the win.

Olivia gave the other pair the Z-crystal and showed them the dance. She than thanked the Tapu for watching over the battle. Liam figured it was time to return to the Pokémon Center and prep for the Aether Foundation.
