Marina took her bites, expressing how good the food was with a simple, quiet smile. While Kaito and Xaizor were having their troubles, Auror stuffed some of his food in their mouths and helped them eat it.


Kaito: Ungh... Oh! This is... really good!

Xaizor: Urk... w-wait... this taste... d-did you cook this, Auror?

Auror: Pretty much. I learned how to cook when I was really young and-

Kaito: *eats more* Hmmm!! Oh, this is nice! I want to eat it all!

Xaizor: *eats more* Hey, leave some for me, Kaito! I need to eat it too!

Auror: Guys, I'm still here... ah forget it, I'll just buy something at the cafeteria downstairs.

Hiagor: Of course, I can't do much against someone that can actually see my hand movements. So anyway, since we're using my spare deck, I can't switch cards right now. I just have to make sure they don't see the pattern behind the cards and I'll be fine.

It was a small girl, playing happily with her father. From afar, unnoticed to them, a hand held the entire land. The owner of it looked at the scene.

The incident that closed the predecessor of the Fleeting Memories School. In the middle school, a boy targeted Lucent and aimed to lock him inside the gym for the entire night. Driven to fear, his powers awakened and he drove the bully into a traumatic nightmare. In the next seconds, the boy that was alive appeared dead. His entire body was pierced and there was a big cut on his neck, with blood spread on the floor. In the corpse's left hand stood a knife and in the right hand a finger that pointed to a message: ALL MONSTERS SHOULD DIE, MYSELF INCLUDED! Because no proof existed, the police labeled it a suicide. However, that incident gave Lucent an even bigger fear... one that led him to seclusion.


Lucent: (I'm used to be hated and left behind. It's better than murdering people. It... doesn't affect me anymore. I do wonder why people decide to get close to me. Veronica and Kaito...)

"I'm gonna visit you everyday so please smile, Mister!"

Lucent: ... Best if I head back. Reeta will probably scold me even harder today. She could at least be more insensible and throw me away in the streets.

Lucent: I wonder why people care about me, anyway. It must be pity. Either that, or I'm a laughingstock.

Lucent opened a portal and left the mysterious world.

They waved as Andorina left the rooftop as well. As Kaito and Xaizor finished the lunchbox and Marina ate her portion, Veronica looked at the newcomers once again.


Veronica: Hey, where did you two come from? I wanna hear about your homeland!

Marina: Eh?! Um... that is to say... how should I...

Xaizor: We're from the Kingdom of Arcadia.

Marina: (D-Do not tell them, idiot!!)

Veronica: From a kingdom...? Like, a place with a king and castles and knights and everything?!

Xaizor: Yeah! Also, we're both-

Veronica: HOW COOL!! I always wanted to visit a kingdom!!

Xaizor: Is... that so? By the way, me and Marina are-

Veronica: To see how beautiful are the dresses... to see a castle... and then out of a sudden, to meet its beautiful prince...!

Xaizor: H-Hey, about the thing of royalty, we-

Veronica: And to go into a royal ball and then have the prince come and invite me to dance...! We would waltz all night long and then he would ask me "Would you marry me?" and I would definitely melt in love and say "Yes..." and then we'd end up into a passionate kiss with him declaring me as his princess later...!!

One of the main points, other than being a cheerful bad cook, is that Veronica is a daydreamer extraordinaire. Her fantasies would actually become nice stories, but she never liked writing that much. Xaizor was going to tell her something but she was already lost in her imagination.


Kaito: It's no use, we already lost Veronica to the land of daydreams.

Xaizor: Well, she'll go on without knowing what I had to say then.

Kaito: But you can tell us then! Go on, you and Marina are what?

Marina: I-I just remembered that we need to go back to the faculty office to speak with the teacher about something very important! Xaizor, let us go.

A humble house in the southeast. Kids played in the courtyard, all happy without too much worries in life. The breeze of the spring wind passed through as the garden appreciated the sunlight. The Glory Star Orphanage was the home of children and teenagers abandoned by the world, but received by warm hands.

His room was on the far end of the right corridor. The light from the sun shined weakly, since the tress blocked it. A portal opened as the room's owner got back at it and soon closed.


Lucent: ... I'm just going to read a book. There's no way I can get out to school now, since it's lunch. I guess the kids are eating right now.

He had only eight books to read. He picked one of them and sat on his bed. As he opened it, Lucent began to immerse himself in the story. He loves reading. It's his hobby, probably the only one. He wasn't expecting the quietness endure for long though.

Ted: She's completely out there...How do we rescue her from it?

Rayla: I don't know, you tell me...daydreaming is worse than hypnosis...

Ted: Well...Let's see...

Rayla: Say Ted...You're mostly good with Geography and History right?

Ted: Yeah...but what they have anything to do with...

Rayla: Do you know any place called Kingdom of Arcadia?

Ted: Hmmm...Doesn't ring a bell...It might be located at the Mediva Country...I'll check it out when I have time.

And so, time passed once more, the students all returned to their respective classrooms and took their lessons until it was time to go home.

Ted: Himika told me to buy something for her today...and I might need someone who's more willing to beat up the bad guys for me...

As they left the classroom, they saw a red-haired girl heading towards them.

Kaito ran towards her and stopped to catch some breath once he did it so. Like her, he was also worried about Lucent.


Kaito: You heard it from Rayla, right? Lucent skipped classes today. I woke him up like usual and he said that he'd be running late today.

Kaito: I wanna question why he skipped classes, so I'm going with you. I can't just let him abandon life like this!

Meanwhile, Auror, Veronica, Marina and Xaizor were leaving together as they talked about lunch once again.


Auror: So you were left behind daydreaming?

Veronica: That was so mean of them! When I saw it, I was all alone in the rooftop and everyone just went back to their classes without me!

Auror: You need to hold back your imagination as much as Ted needs to sleep more. Seriously...

Veronica: But it's not my fault! How'd you react when two of your friends came from a kingdom?!

Auror: Huh? Who are you talking about?

Xaizor: She meant us.

Marina: (He just ignored my warning again!!)

Veronica: They came from the Kingdom of Arcadia! Isn't that cool?!

Marina: Hmm? Are you not going with her, Auror?

Auror: Nah, I prefer to take a walk on my own. Besides, I have something important that I must do.

A young woman came towards them, as she had seem to recognize both. They looked at her, confused, until she began to explain.


???: I came here to take you two to your home in this world.

Xaizor: So, are you the contact Dad mentioned?

???: Exactly. Just so you know, my name is...

Marina and Xaizor followed Reimu to their home in Unitia City. From the other end of the street, Auror looked at them leaving and got more suspicious about what secrets those two were hiding.


Auror: A shrine? I don't remember anything of the sort here at the Spring Zone. First a kingdom that doesn't exist, now this?

Auror: I might do some inspection on this while I do my job. Whatever lies you two are babbling, I'm going to discover what's hidden beyond them.

Tall Man: Sure! Be careful on your way there. There are some people that aren't as nice as us.

Hiagor: (You guys aren't exactly being nice by not letting me enter there...but whatever.) I know how to take care of such rude gents.

One minute after he leaves to search for a convenience store, Rayla, Ted and Andorina arrives in the place.


Andorina: Good to know I get to walk through Spring Zone one more time.

Rayla: You're welcome.

Ted: Hm? What's with the crowd?

Rayla: Your guess is as good as mine.

Tall Man: Huh? Sorry, but boss is talking with our little friend...I might have to ask you to...

Rayla starts the assault, landing some good hits on Glenn, who staggers but doesn't fall on the ground. He tries to hit his punches but misses them.


Glenn: Urgh...Why you...HAH!

Rayla: !!!

He went for an uppercut, Rayla used her elbow to block the strike, then countered with her own uppercut, making Glenn fall on the ground.


Glenn: Argh!

Rayla: Hya!

She went for a kick while he was still down. Glenn managed to roll away despite the pain in his jaw.


Rayla: Well now, at least you're as sturdy as you look.

Glenn: Heh...You haven't seen nothing yet.

Rayla: All am I seeing is...

Before she finished her sentence, Glenn went for another punch. What Rayla didn't expect was that the punch suddenly grew up in size. It was roughly three times Rayla's height.


Rayla: Argh!!!

Getting hit by it, she was sent flying and landed near Ted and Andorina.


Ted: What just happened? Isn't he a common thug like the others?

Andorina: Look! His hand is back to normal.

Glenn: This is my ability! I can make my punches grow in size, not giving anyone a chance to run but behind them. Cool isn't it?

Rayla: If that's the case, why it only felt like I was punched in the face?

Rayla got up, shaking her head in order to shake off the dizziness.


Rayla: It was a clever trick...but it will only work once.

Then, they run at each other again, ready to start the next round.

A group of four thugs was reunited in a street leading to the deeper part of the Suburbs, denominated as the land of the thugs. They had just succeeded from a bank heist and were commemorating.

Thug Boss: Good work, guys! We beat the police and got away with the money!
Thugs: Hell yeah!!

???: ...
Thug #1: Oi, kiddo! Get yer chin up! We got another heist, dude!

???: Shut up... I'm bored as hell.
Thug #2: Heh, feisty brat. You better shut up before we end you!
Thug Boss: Oi, shut the hell up, all of you! Let's commemorate the success! You, go get a beer from inside.
Thug #1: Leave it to me, boss.

One of the thugs left to get the drinks while the other two began to play cards. The last one, who looked like a student, just looked away.

BGM: Hartmann's Youkai Girl (Urban Legend in Limbo)

Voice: I guess you should be more careful about what you're going to ask of your underlings even inside your own house.
Thug Boss: Eh?! Who's there?!

???: Wait, that voice... it's... the Blue Reaper!!

From the dark ceiling, a figure descended. It was a teenager, looking a little annoyed.


Auror: Aww, you messed all up! I was supposed to introduce myself, thank you very much!
Thug Boss: Wait... the Blue Reaper, one of the most feared assassin in Unitia City... is just a brat?!

Auror: Yep! Just a teenager running amok playing assassin! Ain't that a letdown, huh?

Auror: But you know... why the guy you sent hasn't returned yet? Surely he would be excited to see that I'm the Blue Reaper.

???: Huh? Wait... what do you mean?

The wind blew and opened the door behind them. When they looked at it, a corpse was lying on the floor, with its mouth frozen and an ice stake piercing its forehead.

Thug #2: EEEEIYAAAAH!!

???: H-Holy damn...!!

Auror: You see, I had to keep him with his mouth shut. As much as I'd love to hear him screaming as I drive the stake on his brain, I need to keep myself as a secret until now.
Thug Boss: You brat! Hey, you two! Get him!

The thug listened to his command and went towards Auror with a knife in hand. Auror generated an ice knife and sighed.


Auror: You're not my target, so I won't be pleased by torturing you. I'll be quick with this. Let's begin by stabbing the emotions.

He simply threw the generated knife at the thug's arm. It hit right on target as he felt a sharp pain.

Thug #2: GAAAAAH!!

Auror: *generates an ice bow* And while you're all open, I'll be shooting the desires you have, so get lost.

Auror shot 5 arrows, each of them aiming at a point. Two of the hit the thug's elbows and the other two hit his knees, sending and pinning him at the wall. Once he reached there, the last arrow hit his neck, killing him.

Thug #2: B... Boss... r... run...

Auror: No screaming, then? Ugh, you could've even begged for mercy.

???: (The way he kills... how he plays around and disregards his foes' opinions... this guy is truly...)
Thug Boss: Tch, goddamnit, you useless son of a bitch!!

Auror: Ah whaaaaat? Are you thaaaaat mad he was killled? C'mon tough guy, I'm just a kid wielding ice magic and many weapons to kill you and your little buddy~
Thug Boss: Fine then! I'll kill you myself!!

The boss grabbed an axe that was stationed at the wall and tried to attack Auror with it. The young assassin kept evading while joking around.


Auror: *evades* You missed. *evades* Oh, sorry, that was a miss. *evades* Naaah, not even close. *evades* Oh, if you just hit at least some seconds faster. *evades* You must suck at playing Whack-a-Mole.
Thug Boss: You... brat...!! *attacks Auror*

Auror: *evades* I'm gonna have some fun breaking you apart! I'll be waltzing through limits!

Auror throws a knife and hits the thug boss. Using his wind magic, he grabs the knife back and slashes it many times while sending it in the air. On mid-air, he launches the thief back down with a powerful kick.

Thug Boss: *hits the ground* GAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Auror: *lands* Oh, now THAT'S a scream! YES!! Exactly how I wanted!
Thug Boss: This... little... prick...

Auror: Now that I heard what I wanted, let's finish the job and-

*BGM fades*

But before Auror could even get close to him and take the kill, a snake appeared and gave him a bite on the neck, releasing the poison.

Thug Boss: UGH!! Drake... you...!!

Drake: Sorry "boss", but our deal ends here. I'm tired of your petty useless lifestyle.

The thug boss couldn't resist all injuries and the poison's strength. He died without too much effort. The knife Auror was holding broke and he sighed once again.

BGM: Believe in Possibilites (Urban Legend in Limbo)


Auror: Oh nice, I got my kill stolen by a snake. Wonderful...

Drake: It's not like anyone will think I did it. It's still your kill, Master!

Auror: Yeah, I guess. Wait... Master?

Drake: Please make me your apprentice in the art of killing, Blue Reaper!

Auror: How can I be sure that you're not going to stab me in the back, just like you did with your former leader?

Drake: Because the feeling is different! He was such a trash that I just followed him around because I had nothing better to do. But you... oh, you managed to steal my eyes with your impressive style! That's why I need to learn from you!

Auror: Just so you know, I'm in the business killing bandits. I don't kill innocents like you dearly wish to.

Drake: Fine by me! All that I want is to kill like you do, whether is for justice or evil! So please, take me in!

This was certainly a mission to add to the "weird list". Auror was completely unsure about killing the guy standing before him, whose name seemed to be Drake. He just gave him a shrug.


Auror: Whatever. Just make sure you don't kill innocents or else you're going to be my target.

Rayla: (It completely covers his body, so i can't see what he's doing behind that attack.)

She braced herself and blocked the attack, being pushed quite a bit away after getting hit.


Rayla: (This time, the attack was aimed below a little bit below the neck.)

Glenn: NEXT ONE!!!

He went for another straight punch.


Rayla: (Hmmm...What if he...)

She waited a bit, then decided to back-step the next attack, staying out of Glenn's reach.


Glenn: GET BACK HERE!!!

Rayla: (Alright, it's worth a try.)

Glenn lunged at her again, when his fist grew in size again, Rayla decided to strike with a fist enveloped in a glowing white aura.

Thug: T-There it is! One of her famous punches!

Rayla: HYAAAAA!!!

Glenn: !!!

She felt her punch stopping, Glenn was pushed away a bit. When the fist went back to normal, she saw one of his hands close to his face while the other was closed.


Rayla: (I knew it, that was an illusion after all...Just what is this guy anyway?)

Glenn: Just a minor setback...I'll crush you in the next attack...HAAAAAAAA!!!

He approached Rayla, then went for another giant punch.


Rayla: Hya!!!

She dodged the attack by arching her upper body backwards, then, using the momentum, threw an upwards kick that hit Glenn in the chin.


Glenn: Argh!!!
Thugs: Ah!?

Andorina: She did it!

Rayla: It's not over yet!

She did a backflip in order to stand up, then ran at him.


Glenn: Dammit...I WON'T LOSE!!!

This time, both of his fists grew in size and went at her direction. The moment she feels she's close enough, she stops while feinting a punch, then jumps above Glenn, making him miss his strike. She lands behind him.


Glenn: Wha-

Rayla: *takes a deep breath* HMMM...
Thug: Glenn! Behind you!

Glenn: Kurgh...

He turns around, only to see her enveloped in a blue aura, ready to strike him.


Glenn: OH..(SNAP!!!)

Rayla: HAAAA!!!

She hits him with a magic enhanced backhand attack, sending him spinning in the air, then landing on the ground. He tries to get up as fast as he can, but gets hit in the face, forcing him to stand up. Then, Rayla goes for a headbutt, sending Glenn back to the floor.


Glenn: AAAAAAAAARGH...

Rayla: I've figured the secret of your illusion. You use the fist to cover your movements, then watches my actions and reacts accordingly. All I had to do is trick you into attacking first.

Glenn: Grrr...No way...You bested my strongest move...

Rayla: I have to admit, that was pretty clever...but that's all there is to it. Without that trick of yours, you just have your strenght, and we know how well that went. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to enter that building with my friends right now and you guys better not block anyone else's path.

Glenn: Not...yet...I'm...Not done yet!

Rayla: Sigh...

Glenn gets up an attacks Rayla again, she manages to evade his fist, then kicked his leg in order to make him lose balance, then, stompted his head in order to send him to the ground again.

Glenn: Mmmmf!!! *tries to shove away the leg that was stepping on his, going as far as punching it, but it only made her press harder.*

Alongside Reeta, Kaito went towards the end corridor. The kids were all busy playing on another room, so no one noticed their arrival yet. Upon reaching the last door, he knocked on the door

Lucent's Voice: ... It's not locked.

Kaito: Alright, we're coming in to talk with you.

As he opened the door, Lucent was reading another book on his bed. Kaito went in first, visibly irritated.

Lucent: I passed out.

Kaito: Passed out?!

Lucent: You weren't able to heard it because of the distance between our rooms.

Hiagor: So in a nutshell...Some crazed organization are kidnaping people who are supposedly psychic users in order to test a prototype weapon that might serevely hurt normal people if used on them instead. I understand what's happening so far...What I don't get is why you were so interested to take Tatianna to this place instead of the hospital. What good would it make to get this information way early.

Rayla: He's got a point...

Nancy: I answer your question with another one: Do you honestly believe the police would share information about the Compact Glaive? They would most likely make it easy for this mysterious organization to seize Tatianna and put the blame on some random terrorist attack.

Hiagor: I see...You did the right thing I suppose. I assume that you've earned some scolding from them.

Nancy: That we did. While we, the guild are allowed to patrol around the city, the cops never really called for our backup. We mostly get requests from the people instead.

Rayla: Why that doesn't surprise me.

Lucent nodded to Reeta and Kaito finally released him. He gave Lucent a pat on the head and laughed.


Kaito: Really now, what would be of you without us, eh?

Kaito: Then don't answer it! Now c'mon, I'm dragging you with me to eat something before you fall on the ground again!

Kaito pulled Lucent with him. Soon, the children were playing all around. When they noticed that he and Reeta were back, they stormed around them.

Lucent walked towards the garden at the backyard while Kaito and Reeta were surrounded by the children. A blue, shiny butterfly flew around a black rose. As he extended his finger, the flying bug immediately rested on it.


Lucent: Aren't you a beautiful butterfly? I never saw one of you around.

Soon, he heard something fall. When he looked at it, it was an apple. Lucent went towards it and picked it up.


Lucent: "When man ate the apple, God considered it a creature of sin. And thus, Paradise was no more." *bites apple*

Lucent: *gulp* I'm sorry God.

Lucent sat under the tree and kept eating the fruit as he saw the kids still swarming around both of their "brothers".

She heads towards the orphanage, running into Hiagor during the way, who was seemingly waiting for her.


Hiagor: Worried about your idol?

Tiane: Yeah...I really wasn't expecting such an answer from her...Guess all I've ever know of her was that she's a crazy strong good gi-

Tiane: WAIT! SHE'S NOT MY IDOL! SHE'S MY RIVAL! R-I-V-A-L!!!

Hiagor: Okay then, I'll make note of that.

Tiane: Will you though?

Hiagor: Detectives needs to pay attention to details.

Tiane: Now that I think about it...seems pretty basic, she's not doing much to solve the problem in general...

Hiagor: I see...You sure had a lot of time in your hands. I wouldn't be surprised if you memorized the entire layout of at least Spring Zone.

Tiane: Hmph...Now then, let's get going...If we want to convince her to actually fight for this city.

Rayla: So...are we close to that shop Ted?

Ted: Oh...Um...Yeah, just turn right over there.

Rayla: Right...

Andorina: Well...This is where we part ways then.

Rayla: You don't want me to take you home?

Andorina: No need to worry with that anymore, I'll just take a bus instead, the stop is right over there.

Ted: In that case, you can go home Rayla, I'll take a bus as well.

Rayla: If you say so...Be careful.

Rayla then, increases her pace, leaving the two behind.


Ted: You know it too huh?

Andorina: Yes...She's upset about the promise Nancy suggested. You've known her more than I did...Can you tell me why she refused?

Ted: I'm not even sure myself...In my case...I just don't want to hurt anyone...

Andorina: She said this city is beyond help...

Ted: ... (Is it though?)

Andorina: I really hope she changes her mind...Only time will tell. Anyway, take me to the store you want to visit.

Location: Spring Zone - Intermezzo Manor


The Intermezzo Mansion, lying at the northeast end of the Spring Zone. Its position is technically hidden from the eyes of the people, as it's covered by trees which makes the vision of the place difficult from the outside. Even the gate to enter is hidden as well. Only the members of the family, friends of the members and those who were working there knew how to reach it.

With quick leaps from tree to tree, Auror reached the door and entered at his home. There, differently from usual, Veronica was waiting for him.

BGM: Beautiful Dead (Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc)


Veronica: Good night, Big Bro!

Auror: V-Vivi?! What are you doing here?

Veronica: To receive you, duh.

Auror: Huh... thanks for the reception but you're not getting the briefing though.

Veronica: I am... worried about your missions, but not on that sense. You know that I'm against all this, right?

Auror: We already talked about this. With the police being useless, someone has to properly clean the streets and that has to be me.

Veronica: But Miss Rayla's already feared enough! She's like an authority in the Spring Zone! Can't we just leave this to her?!

Auror: ... Like hell I'm leaving this into Rayla's hands. Her merciful nature isn't enough to stop those scumbags. Peace will be found only by taking out the trash properly, not throwing it into a corner.

Auror had Rayla as a good friend, but his respect towards her only meant in friendship. He's against how she leaves thugs to fight. As such, it made her an eventual target to them and she isn't feared. Him, though, wanted to instill fear through the deaths of possible allies of gangs and those sorts. Veronica never approved her brother being in risk just to safeguard a town. She'd prefer to live with him in danger other than living in a possible peace he died to instill. Her words, however, never reached him or anyone. She goes on being accessary with the situation, trying to leave herself out of all problems.


Veronica: I... won't stop you. But please, for everything we are living, don't die. I love you too much for just losing you like this.

Auror: Don't worry. The Blue Reaper won't fall that easy.

Auror: Anyway, about your friend... the one who got involved into the terrorist attack and almost got kidnapped if I hadn't arrived at time.

Veronica: I talked with Sayaka over the phone. She's not going to school yet. She's too terrified.

Auror: Hmm... Veronica, did you ever felt something strange while talking with her? Like, a magical aura or something of the sort?

Veronica: No, I'd never felt it. Why?

Auror: (Then why did I feel something from her in the time she was being kidnapped? She isn't just a normal girl.)

Veronica: Big Bro...?

Auror: Ah, nothing. It's just a theory. Anyway, I'm taking a bath. Food's ready?

Veronica: Your portion's right at the kitchen! There's also a chocolate cake!

Auror: Nice! I'll go ahead then. Good night, Vivi!

He went upstairs towards the bathroom. Veronica looked at the window, as the sunset began to end.


Veronica: (If only there was a way of convincing him to stop with this madness... but even Daddy ignores me. What can I do now?)

BGM: Unexpected Visitor (Immaterial and Missing Power)

They were all reunited at the shrine's kitchen. It actually grew bigger inside thanks to Lumino's interference, which only Reimu knew about it. In the kitchen, as they were eating, she decided to start the conversation.


Reimu: So, how was your first expedition day?

Marina: It was interesting.
Xaizor: It was boring.

Reimu: OK... so how was the school?

Marina: I learned many new things about this world.
Xaizor: I wanted to ignore everything since I had no training at all.

Reimu: *sigh* This is getting nowhere.

Marina: There was something problematic, though. And it was this idiot right here.

Xaizor: Wait, what did I do wrong?!

Marina: You were almost telling them about our identities! I warned you twice today not to do it and you ignored me!

Xaizor: What's the problem? I wasn't lying or anything.

Reimu: Xaizor, there's a huge problem. Your truth is a lie here.

Xaizor: Eh?

Reimu: Lacrima exists outside of this and all worlds. It lives on a separate space from this, being nonexistent to anyone at this world. You should stop trying to tell them the truth and live with the lie that you're not a prince and that Lacrima doesn't exist.

Xaizor: ...

Reimu: It keeps your father safe as well if you do that.

Ted: This is a "Decorative War Fan from the Hin Dynasty." She said that cousin Hinamori likes antique stuff, so she told me to buy this as a gift for when she completes her trainning.

Andorina: Hmmm...

Ted: Yeah...I really don't see the point of collecting these things either...But if my cousin likes it, then I won't say no.

Andorina: Hihihi!

As they waited for the bus, a hooded man with his hands in his pockets approached the two.


Ted: Maybe I'll invite her to practice caligraphy and...
Thief: *pulls a knife* GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!

Andorina: KYAAA!!!

Ted: Sigh...This is happening now.
Thief: C'MON OR I'LL STAB HER PRETTY FACE!

Ted: You'll hurt her if you do that.
Thief: KIND OF THE POINT DUMBASS!

Angered by the snark, he swinge his arm at Andorina, she closed her eyes, but the attack never came.

Thief: HUH?

Ted: That was dangerous man. You shouldn't be so hostile to people like that.
Thief: WHAT?

He saw that Ted had snatched the knife from his hands mid-swing.


Ted: Now then...I'm giving you a chance to run. I don't like hurting people, but if you try someting like this again, I'm afraid you're the only one that will be suffering here.
Thief: LIKE HELL AM I GOING LISTEN TO SOMEONE AS SCRAWNY AS YOU!!! HAAAAAAAA!!!!

Ted: Well...I tried...Andorina, hold these for me.

He gives Andorina the knife and the war fan, then takes a fighting stance.

Thief: You're fricking DEAAAAAAAAD!!!

Ted: You sure to love screaming huh?

Ted pulls a sealing charm out of nowhere. He dodges the lunge with a sidestep while slapping the charm on the man's mouth.

Thief: MMMMMMMMFFFFF!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMFFFF!!!

Ted: Don't worry, it will come off tomorrow. (Mostly because I'm from a different Ancestor Family, I can't really learn how to fully use those seals effectively.)
Thief: MMMF? GRRRRRRRRR!!!

Ted: Seems like you want more...WATAAAAAAH!!!

He hits a Kung-Fu like kick to the man, sending him away. He got up and ran in a panick, seemly tripping on something that was thrown right at his feet.


Ted: You forgot your knife sir!
Thief: MMMMMMMMMMMFFFFF!!!

Andorina: Incredible! You did quite a number on him.

Ted: Kinda wish I didn't... (Oh boy...his friends are so going to hunt me down huh?)

Andorina: Thanks a LOT! You really saved me! If I didn't had a boyfriend already, I think I might've fallen for you.

Ted: (Good...Kinda don't want to get in a relationship right now...)

Then, the bus arrived, Andorina gave back the war fan and boarded it.


Andorina: Let's meet again in the rooftop tomorrow.

Ted: Sure thing!

Andorina: Oh...One more thing.

The door started to close.


Andorina: Maybe you should take Nancy's offer.

Then, the bus left, leaving Ted to reflect upon the suggestion, he looked at the sky with a melancholic look.

Rayla: Hmmmm.... (Well, I'm back home...but for some reason, I don't feel like entering right now...)

She uses her magic to change back into her school uniform. Then, summons her guitar and starts playing the first song that came into her mind.

Rayla: (Hymm of Proof huh? This one has been poping into my mind lot lately...)

Rayla kept playing the song, feeling the breeze on her face as she let the musical notes soothe her soul.

He felt something poking him. When Lucent opened his eyes, Kaito was looking directly at him.


Lucent: GAH!!

Kaito: Good morning, sleepyhead. Or should I say good evening?

Lucent: What...? Is it night already?

Kaito: Yeah, it's night. You slept the afternoon under this tree.

Lucent: I... see.

Kaito actually rested on the grass as he watched the starry night sky taking the place of the the golden horizon as the sun left and the moon came.

Kaito: ...

Lucent: Hey, Kaito. Why do you dream of reaching space?

Kaito: Huh? I already told you, didn't I?

Lucent: This is the first time I ask about your dream, so no. Well, what is the reason behind such a dream?

Kaito: I want to see the horizon.

Lucent: The... horizon?

Kaito: You know how space is vast and limitless, right? I want to travel there in order to see how far the stars go, how many other worlds exists... that type of dream.

Lucent: I see. I think you're going to do it, honestly.

Kaito: Really?!

Lucent: Knowing you as I know, you'd try all methods possible to reach space without the help of anyone. That's what I think.

Kaito: Aw, that's nice of you to say. Now, what about you?

Lucent: Me?

Kaito: What's your dream, Lucent? And don't come with the excuse of being a dream-eater, that doesn't count. At some point, you dreamed.

Lucent thought about it. His dream wasn't something so grand, but he still spoke it, albeit a little embarassed.


Lucent: I want to... visit a flower field.

Kaito: A... flower field?

Lucent: Yeah, like an immense garden of flowers. It might be simple, but I guess I'd love to do that.

Kaito: I see. It's a nice dream. What do you like about it?

Lucent: It sounds... tranquil. Somewhere to ignore everything...

Kaito: (So... all that you want is a normal life. If only I could...)

Lucent: Hmm? What is it, Kaito?

Kaito: Hm? Oh... no, it's nothing.

They returned to stare into space. Soon, Lucent raised his voice once again, amidst the silence.


Lucent: Kaito...?

Kaito: What is it?

Lucent: ... No, forget it. It's... something stupid.

Rayla felt a familiar stench of cigarretes, but decided not to bother much with it.


Hiagor: You were right, she does plays the guitar around this time.

Hiagor: More like you know about her schedule so well that it astonishes me a bit. (Says me, the nosy detective.)

Tiane: It's not that disturbing when I don't have that bad of an intention...right Rayla?

She ignored their talk and kept playing the song.


Tiane: Hey!!!

Hiagor: I don't think she agrees with you.

Tiane: Nobody asked you! So um...I'm back...I guess...

Rayla: Talking with the wrong person here.

Tiane: Aren't you at least a little bit happy?

Rayla: I know you don't really mean it. As soon as you're satisfied enough, you'll go back to your gang.

Tiane: Well...Maybe...

Hiagor: She completely got you there.

Rayla: *starts ignoring them again*

Then, the front door opens. Reeta gets out looking exausted and wheezing for air.


Reeta: Whew...Was I that full energy as a kid? Maybe I was...Hm? This song...

Reeta: Hey Rayla, when did you co-

She notices Tiane standing near Rayla.


Tiane: (Well...I came here knowing what I was going to get...Better not complain...) Um...Hi Reeta...Been...a while...

Suddenly, Reeta ran at Tiane, as if she wasn't exausted at all.


Reeta: YOU BIG MORON!!!

Tiane: Wah!!!

She hugs Tiane and lifts her in the air, spinning themselves afterwards.


Tiane: The heck?

Reeta: You idiot...do you know for how long you made us all wait?

Tiane: Well...I did visit at least once a month...

Reeta: NOT ENOUGH!!!

She puts Tiane in a playful chokehold and starts pressing her fist in Tiane's head.


Reeta: You know how much she cares for you, and what do you do? Stay away from your brothers and sisters for a long time, worrying that you might be doing something dangerous...Like those hearing aids you were wearing...

Tiane: This one was for a good cause...you know that.

Reeta: I know...But...You know what I mean.

Reeta releases Tiane from the hold.


Tiane: Yes...The usual "Something worse could've happened to me." thing...

Reeta: That's right. Hopefully, you've finally learned it this time.

Tiane: (Did I though?)

Reeta: You know...When I hear news that you've visited Granny, It's usually when I'm at school. Why is it different this time around?

Tiane: I want to stay with Granny for a...To be honest, I'm not sure for how long.

Reeta: Really now?

Tiane: I know it might sound absurd coming from me...But I mean it. I want to stay with you guys for now...Relive the old times and all...

Reeta: Right...In that case, go and talk to her...And while you're at it, go help her cook dinner, I'll be joining soon.

With that, Tiane ran to the building with a smile on her face.


Reeta: Tiane...It would be better if you stayed for real...I know you enjoy your time with your friends...But we are like family, right?

Hiagor: So...Why she stays off the orphanage again?

Reeta: She doesn't see herself being adopted by a family. She never knew her parents and all the family bonds she have is with us.

Hiagor: I see, so I'm imagining that after seeing a bunch of brothers and sisters being taken to new families, she realized that she wanted none of it and decided to stay away from the orphanage. That's when she met the Freelers Gang, who had sort of a familiar atmosphere from that of the orphanage and decided to stay with them.

Reeta: You've guessed it right. We suggested that she could visit the adopted ones, but Tiane answered with "It's not the same thing...everyone should be together."

Hiagor: I understand her way of thinking...But that doesn't mean I agree with it. If she didn't want to be adopted, why didn't she make a deal with her caretaker then?

Reeta: Because she is against it. Granny supports the idea that Tiane should be in care of a loving mother and father.

Hiagor: That would be the right thing to do...I mean, once they all grow up, they'll have to take their separate paths anyway when they are able enough to get a job and buy a house of their own. It's not like this "happy world where everyone is happy together" is going to last forever. How is she's going to fight life if she never learned how to do so with someone capable of teaching her that?

Reeta: Yeah...She tends to be dismissive about being a good person...It can be a nuisance sometimes...But that won't stop me from caring about her.

Hiagor: I came here wanting to know more about Rayla's life, but ended up with a new info dump about Tatianna instead.

Reeta: By the way...who are you? I really should've asked this sooner.

Hiagor: Sorry for not introducing myself before, I'm Private Detective Hiagor.

Reeta: Nice to meet you, I'm Reeta Jin Fox, and this is Rayla Celest Lilly.

Hiagor: Commonly know as The Holy Hammer. It's too big of a name for me to not know about her.

Rayla: If you want to know more about my life then I have one favor to ask of you...

Hiagor: What is it?

Rayla: Do not! Call! Me! Holy Hammer! That's a silly looking name made up by thugs and I don't like it.

Hiagor: Right...I'll take note of that and be careful from now on.

Rayla: Good. Anyway, you didn't take long at the guild...I thought you wanted to take as much of info as you wanted.

Hiagor: I do...But let's not discuss that right now. In fact, why don't you invite me over for dinner in your house? As I said, right now I want to know more about your life.

Rayla: Hmmm...

Reeta: Should we let him in Rayla?

Hiagor: Still suspecting me?

She summons a vial of perfume and gives it to Hiagor.


Rayla: Try masking that stench...Lady Amara is very strict with one's clealiness.

Hiagor: Right...I'll do that...

Reeta: Maybe give him a brush too?

Rayla: Not a bad idea...I'll see if Lady Amara has a spare.

Reeta: Sure thing, I'll go help her out with dinner.

Hiagor: (Maybe I shouldn't to smoke that many cigarretes before I leave home...)
