"The Elven King sent us to represent him" Keletyr said to Jared. "So your a.." she says looking at him carefully "knight?" she made a face "well not a full knight" she added. "should you even be here?" she asked
The queen appears from behind Jared(no teleportation she just simply had walked up without them noticing) “I see you’ve already met some people from the other kingdoms!” Does a small polite bow to the elves and the fairy “im queen Anaya” turns to Jared “I didn’t expect to find you in this part of the meeting, rather dark magic can be dealt with here”
"Runes" Keyrie said "you want Runes in your sword to make it more powerful?" she says in almost disgust. "you seek dark magic for this? you know that it will never be good, cursed you will be" she says
her brother listened "Elven metals are strong and blessed in magick" he says
"we are born of magick" she says "we dont need to seek it out, we weld it from within us" Keyrie says
Keletyr looked at Jared. "dark magick will ruin your soul, slowly taking it away until your empty" he says "they dont tell you that, the dark ones, that deal in such dark magick" he says "are you willing to lose that? someone who wants to be an honorable knight?" he says
“But what if there were ways to compete that task without the need of losing your soul? Would the significantly more difficult task be worth it to avoid the uncertainty of the outcome of losing your soul? I’d you lost your soul you could cause more damage than help.”
"there is other ways"Keyrie says " that doesn't involve losing your soul" she says to him "but if your so keen on losing it then by all means go the dark route" she looks at her brother, then walks away.
Keletyr watched his sister walk on. he looks at Jared. "why do you want to lose what you humans call humanity?" he says
pride is the weakness of these two i believe, but that's common for elves also their lack of ability to think about why and consider it from another persons point of view. Jared seems to have a similar tunnel vision, he didn't think about the other options or stop to consider them. letting a person wander around the festival and watch their interactions or lack thereof is such an effective way to learn about them
He shakes his head slightly. "Because humanity is dead. It may have worked in the past, but now it has all warped and twisted into pride, shame, hunger, gluttony, wealth, and beggars. I merely want to find a way to make myself unbeatable, so that if anyone must be corrupted, at least let it be me, because it won't matter in the long run."
