Jono deflects the shot with a dagger and grins. “Low blow.” She twirls her dagger in her hand and gets into a stance.

Tanner shrugs and pulls out a second pistol as he drops the first and shoots again but this time at her shoulder

Jono dodges the bullet again and flicks her wrist, sending her dagger flying for his abdomen.

Tanner steps to the side and hits her dagger down with his cutlass as he dropped his pistol and pulled out his third and last shooting at her midsection

Jono blocks the bullet with her other dagger, and she had advanced right after she threw her dagger, so she's in a position to tackle him.

Tanner stabs down with his cutlass on her exposed back stepping to the side so he wouldn't be tackled

Jono twists to the side but she sucks her teeth as his cutlass strikes her side. She spins and sweeps his legs, then she gets to her feet and pins him to the mast, her forearm across his neck and her dagger at his side.

Tanner holds up a hand as his crew bristles " calm down " he says and looks at her " check your own side " he says , when getting pinned he had dropped his cutlass and pulled out a tiny knife lightly pressing it into her side .

Jono grunts softly when he pulls the knife out. "Huh. When did that get there? Are we done here?"

Tanner nods " I would say we're done " he says but holds up a finger " if and only if you stop stealing from me "

Jono narrows her eyes and scrutinizes him. "Your no fun." She huffs and looks away, stepping back as she sheathes her dagger. "Fine. Guess I'll be on my way then." Jono had already mentally dulled out the sharp pain in her side.

Tanner sheathes his tiny knife and picks up his pistols and cutlass" if you steal anything on your way out I won't stop my crew " he says casually as he sheathes his cutlass and holsters his pistols .

"Then you might want this back," Jono tosses a compass back to a pirate. "Relax I stole it before the fight." She sighs and winces. "Damn it hurts to breathe," she mutters.

Tanner pockets the compass " you'll be fine your health bar isn't even that low " he says and tells one of his crew members to raise the sails

Jono looks up. "Mm? Oh, uh right." She walks to the rail and looks out at the water. "I meant it though, what I said. Thank you."

Tanner shrugs " thank you for what? " he asks as he walks up to the ship's wheel

Jono rolls her eyes. "For I don't know, not letting me die."

Tanner shrugs " oh well I had a score to settle and I don't feel comfortable killing players especially now that it we die we die in real life " he spins the wheel turning the ship right

Maisy had been up to questing after that first one. She'd run down an underground rat ring in the reeking sewers, found some bodies kid wandering around in the wilderness, exterminated 6 more monster nests for knight captain Howzer, and spent the rest of her day delivering peoples mails all around the city. It had been a lot of fun helping these fake people with their make beileve problems, and the resulting XP has booted her up to level ten.

Now she was just wandering the city, searching for more people that had stuff for her to do and eating a fish stick. That is, a whole fish on a stick. At some point she'd overheard that if she used a fire she could cook food, so she'd found a giant ceremonial blazer in the knights guild hall and used it to cook up all the fish she'd caught into these, which she was disappointed to find were not actual fish sticks like from the freezer.

She took another big, greasy bite. They still wearn't bad though.
