I actually came back here feeling like a crappy Co-Gm, I left a couple other games in favor of focusing on doing my job as a Gm & Co-Gm. It was also a choice of mental health vs always feeling like I've disappointed you or anyone else on the Guild.

I honestly should have put an end to it and I'm sorry, I'm trying to be more diligent in my responsibilities and fail time to time. I will make sure this won't happen again.

As far as your character goes, she looks great. I can definitely see how the whole insanity thing could prove problematic, but as long as you can find in character reasons to keep her from flipping out on the party, I don't really think it would be an issue. Also, I feel like Omni's shinobi would pair good with your Big Sister, maybe helping to anchor her somewhat. As far as powers go, it really is a case by case basis. For example; with the shinobi, I asked him to get rid of his shadow-clone jutsu on the grounds that he already had a lot of other jutsus that were either wind or medicine based, and I wanted to streamline him a bit. For your character, however, each plasmid is essentially one spell with one function. Sure, they can be used outside of combat, but what they do doesn't really change. Opening doors by shooting lightning at them is essentially the same as unlocking a door by shooting the lock off. All things considered, I think it's totally fine that she would have one of each kind.


I wasn't really sure if I should throw a whole host of plasmids in, or just focus on a handful but make them really in depth.

...Triforce of Courage has been put together, since the entire implication in the first game is that Link needs it's power to even contend with Ganon and his Triforce piece.

@Prince of Seraphs Okay I actually watched like an hour long video on the events of every single Bioshock game. I am loving your character as well, I'm interested to see what would happen if your Adam was taken by an inhabitant of Hyrule.

Right, right. It's just an association thing, Link has the Triforce of Courage in every other game, my brain latched onto that one. It is the Tri-Force of Wisdom you're helping him collect, thanks for pointing that out.

@Dr Lovecraft Incidentally, what's sort of the bent of the RP as a whole? Like are we just sort of running through the plot of various video game worlds alongside their protagonist or is it more of a worlds collide type thing stuff from one game world crashing through the boundary into another, altering the world depending on what or who it is and who finds it?

The first. Once you're done in Hyrule, you'll either be flung forward in time or jettisoned to a different world to help them with their problems.

@Dr Lovecraft Isn't that going to get slightly problematic over time? Like presumably we have to go through all of the first LoZ because we're not strong enough to make a beeline straight for Ganon, but going through that adventure will power us up. Which means we'll be way over levelled for starting at stage one of the following game world. Games traditionally start you off as a scrub and then by the end you have god level powers. So how is that going to work if we finish game one with god level powers and enter the scrub stage of game two still with the powers we got from game one?

I... actually never even considered that. I guess I could just go the Metroid route and take all your power ups away at the beginning of each adventure, but that doesn't really sound too fun. I could also increase the base strength of everything at the beginning of the next adventure, but that comes with it's own complications... hmm... I'll have to think on it. Fortunately, getting through Hyrule the first time will likely take long enough to give me time to figure it out, even with my plans to streamline it.

You could do more of a world's collide type deal, assembling your own plot from the natural consequences of a thousand game worlds smashing together but I suppose it depends on how much work you want to put into writing a complex narrative.

Problem there is that it would basically require a complete overhaul of the entire RP, from the map, to the enemies, to the items, even the end goal. No, I think one world at a time is still the way to go, I'll just have to figure out how to make it work.

@Dr Lovecraft Would that necessarily be a bad thing? I'm fairly certain most people are here for the world hoping of characters across gaming environments. I don't think anyone is here because they desperately wanted to specifically play through the plot of the first Legend of Zelda game. Even if you want to keep Hyrule as an environment, you could build the plot out of the logical extrapolations of the results of creatures and items crashing into it while having the environments of the worlds being kept seperate by portals or warp points or something.
