The explanations all made enough sense as well. It's good not to know too too much about game mechanics, to prevent a sort of min-maxing experience, I'd also imagine.

@AdorableSaucerAlso, not to be a bother but the location of NJ within the ruin changed slightly— from the southernmost area to the southernmost area that borders the forests to the west. It's not that far from where it's currently shown on the map, so it's probably no issue, but I just wanted to clarify that.

Which also makes me want to make a map of how I envision the layout

@rezay Hell yeah, fam! Love me some deep lore! Only thing I would have poked at here would be the equipment list for the militia, but you've already outlined so many issues with defunct weapons and ammo shortages that I'mma let it slide. :D Very, very tasty and all amazing in my book! Great read!

As for the weapons, I'm planning on self-imposing their continued failures as the RP progresses, so eventually NJ will need to advance and find a solution.
Especially if they see any big population growth, they might be issuing spikey sticks to new militia members, because that's all they have :p

Yeah, I think it makes sense in the current situation of the faction. The biggest vulnerability is population, and I think they'd know that, or at least the government— as far as they know, they might be all that's left of human civilization, and there's only 400 of them

Consequentially they only recruit from the male population (thus why I specified those numbers), not wanting the only people that can grow the population be eaten by a mountain lion because they got separated from their platoon on an expedition to the ruins
*Throw in religious ideas they've developed

They also don't really know what to expect. Maybe they are underprepared, but seeing as they haven't encountered external threats for a considerable length of time, I don't mind them running into that brick wall story-wise
Maybe it'll be more like a pit of spikes, but that's half the fun

Rewrote sheet and turn 0 post in some free time today, says all the same things but made more readable. Gave Kane's segment a little more depth. Updating now.
Will likely be adding another two story segments to the turn 0 posts, have the ideas floating around but have yet to get around to writing them
