Suleiman often refers to himself as 'Suleiman the Magnificent' and that is the tenet to which he lives his life by: a flamboyant adventurer in search of riches, danger, and romance—in the non-classical sense of the word, even though he can be quite the skirt chaser at times too. Unfortunately, his sense of self worth and importance isn't actually grounded in reality. Despite claiming to be a famous gentleman pirate and thief, the truth is no one actually knows of him outside a very small circle of individuals he had dealt with in the past. His famed reputation is basically nonexistent, much to his dismay. He can act quite deflated when someone brings up the fact that they've never heard of him or his exploits. In spite of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, he still goes around insisting that he is famous, really.
Which is to say trouble easily rolls off his back. There isn't much that gets him down and even less to keep him there. He is bold, optimistic, and tries to make friends before enemies. Although his generally unconcerned demeanor does come off as being cavalier or flippant a lot of times. He does have disdain for certain injustices and inequities of the world. For instance, he absolutely abhors the act of slavery; it's one of the few subjects in which he acts serious about. Strangely enough, he also is rather protective of the bandana he wears on his head even though he isn't entirely sure as to why.
His childhood memories are simply a haze to him but he remembers waking up in a ditch somewhere at the age of four with a nasty, bleeding wound on his head and this bandana gripped tightly in his hands. He was then found by a traveling band of pit fighters and their master and was taken in as a slave. It was either that or death; the latter option not sounding too promising at the time for the young lad. During his time with the troupe, he was trained to be a fighter in preparation of when he comes of age to fight in the pits.
But that day would never come because, at the first opportunity he had, Suleiman made his escape, stealing a camel on his way out. He rode to the nearest kingdom and sold his mount to seek a life inside the city walls. There, he lived as a petty thief and also worked honestly when he could. At the age of eighteen, he finally amassed enough wealth to strike out on his own. Pursuing the life of a pirate, he bought a dinghy and headed off to the great unknown in search of fortune and adventure. Despite many attempts, he never did recruited anyone to join him in his harebrained escapades. His ended up being a strictly solo practice in the fine art of piracy.
On his long travels, he's encountered many strange and wonderful things. In one adventure, Suleiman the Magnificent takes on a company of slave merchants and ended up stealing a priceless Regalia and, partially, freeing the captive slaves. Of course, he did so in the dead cover of night and so no one really knew who'd done the deed, ensuring that his reputation remained stagnant. At one point, he joined a group of adventurers to safeguard a King candidate and explore a labyrinth in search of its slumbering god. But the situation went south swiftly and all but himself perished in the perilous domain.
Suleiman managed to escape with his life but he also took with him a single prize: a Writ of Kings. After his experience with one labyrinth, he initially thought to sell the thing but his ambition quickly outgrew his caution. What could be more daring, bold, and adventurous than a pirate turned king traversing the world in a moving city? And where the ultimate treasure being the recreation of the world? Which leads us to the present day. Suleiman has scoured the lands and found his mark: a city abandoned of its rulers. In time, he'll make everyone acknowledge the name: Suleiman the Magnificent!

C O M B A T ◄
⬦ E Q U I P M E N T❧ Aldaw Sahid: A Regalia in the form of a broad-bladed shamshir (pictured above on Suleiman's waist) of Damascus steel. Suleiman stole it off a caravan of slave merchants and it has been at his side ever since. It is his most favored weapon and his first choice in most combat scenario. Its latent Miracle must first be activated by the utterance of the phrase, 'Across infinite distance, I call upon you, Aldaw Sahid, extend,' and by the singular word 'extend' in subsequent usage. This Miracle gathers light energy to envelope the sword's blade and allows it to expand to incredible lengths at will. The process is also very quick, letting the blade shoot forward as an attack. Additionally, the blade when extended becomes malleable, allowing it to bend in all different kinds of directions.
❧ Mu Mudada: A Regalia taking the form of an ornate silver jambiya. It is the first Regalia to be obtained by Suleiman in Anetha's labyrinth. Its latent Miracle allows it to absorb and redirect magical projectiles. Once absorbed, the dagger's blade glows a brilliant blue and, as time passes, transitions to a deep red but also strengthens the force of the absorbed magic. If the magic is left too long without being released, it will cause an explosion, injuring any in the immediate vicinity. Note that the dagger cannot absorb multiple magic attacks.
❧ Ring of Procession: A Regalia with the form of a ruby set in a golden ring. It is another Regalia found in Anetha's labyrinth. Its Miracle lets Suleiman steal a characteristic of a nonliving object and apply it to a second object for a very brief amount of time. The current limit is five seconds. This allows him to create things such as a cold flame or a transparent stone wall.
❧ Thief's Toolkit: A simple toolkit with all of the appropriate accessories for a rogue. Suleiman always carries it on his body in case of any situation where a deft hand is require to access locked doors and chambers, and the occasional dungeon cell in his past misadventures.
❧ Telescope: A simple and reliable brass telescope that does exactly what it was designed to do. Inexpensive and lacking in any special qualities.

❧ Swashbuckler: Suleiman, over his long travels and numerous encounters with dangerous individuals, has hone his swordsmanship to a masterful degree. He employs a showy and extravagant style of swordplay, appropriate for his demeanor. He almost always never fights at his full strength initially, preferring to gauge the opponent's power first and attempting to bait out any mistakes they may make to use to his advantage. His keen spatial awareness also allows him to fully utilize his environment and incorporate objects in his surroundings while in combat.
❧ Mimicry: Suleiman is skilled enough with a blade that he is able to copy other sword-based fighting styles just from a few moments of studying someone's performance. Naturally, the longer he is allowed to study the particular style, the more seamlessly he can replicate it. He can then incorporate what he's learned into his own specific style and bolster his own repertoire.
❧ Deft Hands: The hands of a thief. Suleiman has learned the tricks of the trade and can use his knowledge to pick open a variety of locks, pickpocket, and also slip an object on someone's person without them being aware of it.
❧ Keen Senses & Intellect: Despite his grandstanding and cavalier nature, Suleiman is smarter than he lets on. He is able to pick up on small details quickly and can read a performance to an accurate degree if someone is attempting to pull one over on him. He is not easily tricked even if he can be manipulated just by getting on his good side and showering him with praises.
