[IC] Werewolf roleplay!

[Star Light]

"I will hunt and patrol for as long as I can." She said, her tail curling around her paws. "Now to other problems.. Ella.."

[Twisted Mind]

"I mean no disrespect, but the pack cannot risk losing you as well until we find another alpha male to stand in your mate's place. We will be just fine without one more wolf to patrol," He paused before addressing the problem of Ella himself. He knew his tone was slightly harsher than he'd intended, but he was not risking his alpha's life by sending her on patrols when she was pregnant. "We've had no word of Beta Conner, but I do not fear for her. She's probably gone off on a recruit mission she decided to take on. I wouldn't worry." He was lying to himself, not wanting to believe that his fellow beta could be injured or worse- dead.

[Star Light]

"That could be a possibility, but she has been gone for a while, we will wait two moons, that's a moon after these pups will be born, then we will send a search person or patrol." She said.

[Twisted Mind]

Zi nodded slowly. "We should speak to Kadia Evlase about this. She seems distressed, and I believe she knew Beta Conner well. And her behavior earlier was uncalled for," He spoke in reference to the way Kadia had growled at the alpha's needing to speak to him- most likely because she had addressed him first, though he couldn't be sure. She's bitter. It's a problem. But if she knew Ella well, perhaps she could provide us insight on a possible location.

[Star Light]

She nodded. "You are correct, go bring her to me." She told him, her tail twitching. It's a good idea to speak to Kaida, I might have to look more into that..

[Twisted Mind]

Zi nodded again. "Yes, Alpha," He exited the den, remaining still in his human form. He looked around for Kadia and soon spotted her near the camp exit. He approached her warily, understanding that she may not want to speak to him after he'd dismissed her. But it had been required of him. He always spoke to the higher before the lower. "Kadia, Alpha Crystal would like to speak with you," He said finally once he got within a good two feet of her.

Kadia Evlase

Kadia growled as Beta Ling approached, but sighed and stood. Fine. This better be about sending somebody to look for Ella- and actually doing it! She thought, shooting a glare at the beta before padding past him and to Alpha Crystal's den. She nosed her way in, silent. No need for her current anger to get her to disrespect an Alpha. Get it together, Evlase. This is an alpha you're talking to. And you're friend you're probably talking about. She scolded herself.

[Star Light]

"Greetings Kaida." She said, sipping her head to her pack mate. "I've heard you know Beta Conner." She said.

Kadia Evlase

"No shit I knew her!" Kadia snapped, unable to avoid snapping. Almost immediately, she whined and lowered her head. "Sorry."

God. I can't do anything right today. Why can't I just go off and find Ella on my own?! UGH. Too much red tape.

[Star Light]

"I'm sorry she went missing.. In two moons we are sending a search party to search for her, would you like to be a part of the search party?" She asked Kaida, not minding her outburst, she knew what it was like to lose someone special.

[Twisted Mind]

Zi listened in on and watched the two females from the den entrance, standing quietly just outside. If Kadia got too violent, he would remove her- no questions asked. He was just that type of werewolf- loyal to the fault. He also knew what Kadia was going through, having lost everybody he loved at an early age. He was what could be considered an orphan, but his pack was his family now, and he hated the word orphan.

Kadia Evlase

Kadia growled, angered. "Two moons is too long! She could be dead by then!"

She paced, claws scratching the ground and kicking up a bit of dust. Her anger showed. I should go now! I don't care if I have to go alone!

[Star Light]

"Kaida, calm down." She said. "We have to wait, just please be patient." She was starting to doubt herself.. What if Ella did die.. No, she needed to stop thinking of that.

Kadia Evlase

"It's not that easy to 'calm down,' Alpha! It's both of our faults if Ella turns up dead, so think about it!" She growled, turning and glaring at Crystal.

[Star Light]

Her ears flatten and she growls, standing. "Get out. I am doing the absolute best I can do!" She snarled. Hackles rising as she growled, her tail was kinda wrapped around her stomach.

Kadia Evlase

"You're not doing anything," Kadia growled.

She padded out of the den, whisking past Zi and going to her den in a huff. If she's not going to do anything, I will! She lay down on her bedding, not sure what to do or where to start, but she knew she had to find Ella on her own- if Crystal wasn't going to do anything about it.

Rowan Mclaren

Rowan had watched Kadia storm out of the den, and shook his head. As alpha male, he was well aware this behavior from her was unacceptable. But he would speak to Crystal about the incident before going to Kadia, so he could get both sides of the story fairly. He padded into the alphas' den, sighing.

"What was that about?"

[Star Light]

She turned around, tail flicking. "It's not something of concern, if you really want to know talk to Kaida.." She said as she laid down in the next, she never liked getting a new alpha after her mate, the old alpha, had unfortunately died before even knowing she was expecting pups, so she wasn't very fond of the newest alpha, although she did respect him. Crystal had been the alpha for years on end, ever since she reached the age to become a full member of the pack she has been Alpha, so her name demanded a lot of respect then most, then Rowans, even if he was the alpha male.

Rowan Mclaren

Rowan sighed. Difficult as always. Fine. He left without a word, not acknowledging any of the others as he decided not to talk to Kadia. Before he had joined this pack, he'd been Beta Male in another pack for six years. His last four years had been spent here, climbing the ranks quickly with his knowledge. Of course, he knew Crystal had more respect than he did, since he wasn't born into the pack. He cared little for showing her that respect, though, since it often didn't come and go both ways. Until she respected him, he would not fully respect her. With her pregnant, he became a higher power, considering she couldn't do her duties. He wasn't planning rebellion- no, never- but he could gain a bit more respect from the other pack members.

[Star Light]

She curled up in her nest and closed her eyes, burying her nose into his nest to take a sniff of the old alphas lingering scent, she closed her eyes and just laid like that. Ever since her mate had died she'd been doing her best to keep the pack together, but it obviously isn't working well enough... She has just been feeling so, so, crushed since he'd died, he hadn't even known she was with pups, carrying lis babies inside of her. She disliked Rowan a bit, not because of his personality or anything like that but because he had replaced the place of her beloved Alpha, and she didn't like that much. She knew he hadn't been born into their pack but they had nobody else to take the role of Alpha, and Rowan Offered to be him, so he was now him. She lifted her head and stood, feeling embarrassed because of out outburst.

She pads outside of her den, her fur fluffed against the sudden cold breeze causing her to shiver. Its quite a cold day outside is it not? She thought to herself as she looked around the camp, they didn't have many people, the low ranks are all either on patrol or hunting currently. The werewolves ate both prey and human food, but ever since they have moved they have been eating more and more freshkill, nobody objects of course, because Alphas word is law, especially in Crystal's case. She sat down and curled her overly fluffy tail around her paws, sighing as she looked around, they really needed more wolves, and with Ella gone and some pack members in distress it didn't help much. She sighed and laid down, putting her head on her paws and her tail curling beside her. She looked over to Beta Ling. "Hello Beta Ling, you are free to go patrolling or hunting or whatever." She said, releasing him of his post outside of her cave.

Zi blinked then nodded. "Thank you, Alpha, but I'll stay where I am," He responded, hands clasped behind his back. Besides, if I'm needed, I can see over the entire camp from here. He thought quietly. He didn't move. He had heard Kadia's words and would speak to her later about her blatant disrespect.
