There will be an interconnected map where we must follow a pathway which leads to different cities. I think that each person could lead a section/Magick Lesson Set. The Magick can be from any time Era or View. There are a few requirements but it is how you lead that matters the most and whether or not the Magick is able to be obtained. No one will have a full set of Magickal Abilities. You must rely on others around you to help you get through the maze of interconnecting Highways and Byways.

This is how the RP will start out. It will be a new type of an idea that I have not yet tried. I am creating a school for 15 years which will train them to be silent messengers of the night. It will be based on what you are able to do. You will move on when you have completed the class set that you are on. You will get to have a career of your own to train for.

I will need someone to step up and help me with the RP and I will accept up to 6 students. Each day will start out the same and end the same.

All of the Magick will come from your Inner Core. And will go through the body as we explore each of the 5 Core Magicks. Each Magick will be explained as we get to it. Let's see how much interest there is in this concept.

Magicks that exist

Air/Current/Moisture

Air -- You can manipulate air, creating gusts of winds to blow away enemies, or keep yourself alive in worse areas by drawing in clean air to yourself. If used hard enough can wear down even the mightiest of stone while Water will slow and stop the flow of Air.
Current is the flow of Air- the speed and direction.
Moisture is the Humidity or water in the Air which can be harnessed.

Fire/Heat

Fire -- You can manipulate fire, adding heat and light to what you do, you both weaken shadows, and melt ice, as well as burn other organisms. However, a strong wind, or ample water or earth can snuff you out.
Heat is one of the byproducts of Fire. Or it is the absence of cold.

Water/Current

Water -- You can manipulate water, moistening things, doesn't sound like much, but drowning is an unpleasant way to die. You can also wear away at earth, and kill fires. Earth can mix with water to make mud and thusly kills the flow of water.
Current- like in water- is the direction and speed of the water instead of the Air.

Earth/Plants/Healing/Gemstones/Ores

Earth -- You can manipulate the very earth around you, building the best shelters, fortifications, and the most resistantant of any materials. But even a simple wind can erode you, or a strong one. And a mighty rush of water can knock you down.
Plants -- You can manipulate plant life, easy way to contain another person, wrap item in vines, Also, good for finding food, shelter, and other things. You can also communicate with the plants; figure out info from what they have heard. Plants will work with Earth Magic to build a stronger ability called Unroison (opposite of erosion). However, all plants can burn quite easily, from fire or strikes of lightning.
Plants, Gemstones and Ores can help heal and maintain good health.

Mind/Mental

Mind -- You can control the minds of others, but only a handful at a time. This ability leaves you vulnerable to attacks, as your mind actually enters that of the controlled, leaving your body empty.
Mental is much less stressful techniques since you keep your mind to yourself, allowing you to multitask.

Thank you! Noted on the CS, I've amended my earlier post.
Will go with Owl #2, and for the seafood part, nope, she doesn't take seafood. Reason being, her dislike prolly stems from her roots being half-mermaid, not that it's a taboo but just an innate dislike since birth. Hope that's clear now! :D

This a map that Aisling will be following:


Black Circle her home town, blus is where she is and the yellow circle might be a stop for a ghost town visit.

Ling will come out into this world where the multi colored circle is.
If Ling wants to be picked up, she could find someone to give her a lift to the cafe about 10 miles away but it can be seen clearly in the desert area. This is in Nevada.

Or Ling could come out in another area. I usually use Area 51 one for portal travels. Your choice.

Thanks for the map, Aisling! I think your idea about Area 51 is good (plus it's also already mentioned in the IC) - technically, Ying wouldn't know what to expect nor where she will be at all since she comes from a different dimension/era that still uses swords and spears to fight. Traveling to a different world via portal is also something new for Ying, so she'll be in plenty of culture shock haha. Not to mention, she has yet to discover she possesses talent for Magick, will see how I can bring that to attention.

Aisling, I made it so that Ying has a wooden owl companion, but not sure if the owls you made above can move like a living thing or just a stationary item. Now that Ying is exhausted from all the travel and whatnots, it might take her awhile to get to the cafe, presumably under the wooden owl's guidance as Ying is totally unfamiliar with the modern tech, not to mention she may take awhile to adjust in terms of language and modern culture. Maybe along the way, I might have her being implanted by some kind of chip so that she can speed up her learning of the current world.

Sorry that it was such a lengthy post from me, I got carried away haha~ xD

I love long posts but I am not able to do them often. My main problem is that I am a bit down and trying to cheer myself up with RP stuff. What you don't know is that I lost my husband last June due an accident. Sometimes it is just hard to do anything.
