Physical Description:


Personality: Henry/Ren did not like Karin as a character; having her as a slightly older sister changed that. As for their shared mother, Henry is determined to save her from her death by overwork or die trying; no one deserves to be put through what she had been through. After all, she knew that she had sponteanously conceived him without forewarning or announcement; a literal gift from the Kami. And that was their little secret; a bond that he was certain would grow as they grew up. Not just that, but should she die anyway, he was going to take care of Karin and stop her from falling in love with someone who won't love her back anyway. But for now was the painstaking task of trying to get this village to see them as more than just... Healing dispensers? Human medkits? Or even worse, slaves?

It didn't matter; he was going to stop his new mother from dying and force Kusakagure to acknowledge him. Otherwise, he had options, he had theoretical knowledge that he had memorized intently. And even if it meant derailing the canonical plot, he was going to forge a place for his family... And woe betide those who stand in his way.

Short Biography: Henry Cook saw Naruto when the Anime was first coming out; he thought it was good at first, then it turned bad quickly, in his opinion, thanks to filler and ass pulls. Then he switched to real History, which eventually got him an Associate's Degree in the Humanities that proved to be useless except that it allowed him to begin writing his own Webcomic that won enough Patreon donations for him to keep himself alive. He also wrote parodies of Naruto Fanfiction and read the latter as well, while keeping up with developments in Naruto Shippuden, then Boruto. He was going to be one of those rare things: A nerd who could afford his lifestyle without his parents supporting him, and who also kept physically fit due to being able to afford a gym membership.

Then, on the way to the gym to celebrate his 30th Birthday and his inching toward financial stability, his dreams ended when he was hit by a truck; a cliche he wanted to mock in his last moments of consciousness.

Life After Death was no consolation. Reincarnation into a world that he knew from head to toe yet stopped liking a long time ago was a sticking point as well. Nevertheless, Henry preferred to live, and so he was reborn as a baby in the house in Kusakagure, the Village Hidden in the Grass, as the younger brother of one Karin and just like her, a full-blooded member of the Uzumaki Clan. However, one of the very first words he was able to register was some random ninja that his mother was taking care of complaining about Konoha's 'Civilian Council', an organization that should not exist at this point outside of Fanon; the Village Council only came to being after the Sound/Sand Invasion of Konoha in the Anime.

Something was off, but right now, he had a mother to save from overwork. Who knows? If the Civilian Council is benign, he could use them. If they were as evil as Fanon made them out to be, he can use that too. And if the worst case scenario occurs and this is a Naruto in Name Only universe... He had a secret weapon to direct against those who regarded himself as his family's 'owners'...

Personality:
Persistent and hardworking, with an inclination to throw herself under the bus to lift others up, if she does all that she does remember that in the end it’s for someone else’s good, most of the time.
For likes? cigarettes and cute outfits.
Dislikes? cigarettes when YOU smoke them, they kill you, you know.

Short Biography:
Short and clear? Got it.
Was a nurse in the past life, typically worked in critical care units and extra shifts to keep her younger siblings floating with comfortable money. Even foregoing details of her passing, it’s apparent she still has the mental energy and vigor to continue her overtaxing habits even in a new life.
Her knowledge of the Narutoverse is limited to knowing a guy is called Naruto and punches stuff with magic or something, fair to say in her meeting with Kami she failed to realize where she was being thrown into hand hardly believed the experience was real, and so ending up in a newborn body was quite the shock

• Medical training, in her past life Yumiya has learnt much about the human body and is used to the sight of blood and infections much more than most people. Still it won’t be extremely useful at healing without the machinery she is used to, instead having to rely on herbs and magic.

Howdy. I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring since this looks rather interesting.

First post WIP.

The Empty Vessel

Name: Yūto Uchiha (formerly Sam Wú).

Affiliation: Konohagakure, Uchiha clan (Nominal)

Physical Description:


Personality: Yūto was someone who could best be described as "incomplete". He follows his family's rules and traditions without complaint but not with resolve. To him, his existence was merely a pawn in the game of life and he had little reason to change that. And yet.... something inside him cannot help but despise such thoughts. Perhaps in the next life, he might have a chance to experience life on his own terms.

Likes: Not much.
Dislikes: Being indecisive, Restriction (concealed).
Dreams: Yūto's dream, if can be called that, is to find some kind of purpose to break the endless monotony of his life. And perhaps the answer lies within his new life. Whatever that may be.

Short Biography: Sam Wú was born the middle child in a Chinese family of great renown in their community. Being the child of a foreigner, however, strained his relationship with the older generations. His family had high expectations for him and his siblings and no tolerance for anyone who could not live up to them, regardless of lineage. In that regard, at least, Sam did not disappoint them. But it was never enough. The more he succeeded, the more they expected; it was a vicious cycle with no end in sight. Until he met his end at the tires of a reckless driver to save a child's life.

He couldn't say he regretted that.

After his death and subsequent meeting with "Kami", he found himself awakening as a newborn of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan. It was perhaps a stroke of luck (or maybe fate?) that he'd gained significant knowledge of the Naruto series from watching the show with his younger siblings. As fate would have it, he was reborn as a member of the Uchiha Clan, one of the most powerful bloodlines in the entire ninja world, albeit their faction was in something of a decline as of late. Nevertheless, it was a fresh start and that was what he always wanted.

• Animal Specialist: Yūto's former life saw him employed as a highly-skilled animal handler. He's naturally gifted and well-learnt at keeping animals calm and (relatively) friendly.
• Put them back together again; Medicine: Yūto is good at fixing things, particularly people. It was a given, considering how many times he'd had to peel a wild animal from some idiot who thought they were pets. They are not.
• Remember this face; Phenomenal Memory: Yūto has a hard time forgetting things once he learns about them.
• Tracking: Yūto is trained in tracking down and identifying individuals. Unfortunately, he never managed to get very far before reincarnating, so he's still something of a novice.

• (Nigh)Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint: As someone who had been forced against his will (by a nine-year-old) to sit through the entirety of the Naruto series, Yūto possesses knowledge of (almost) all major and minor events set to occur. Of course, this comes with the minor caveat that even the slightest action he takes may have unpredictable results in the setting.
• It's not paranoia if everyone is actually out to get you: Yūto is hyper-cautious of his surroundings and always knows when he's being watched. Somehow.
