Already PMed Vertigo to make sure they know the OOC is up. Haven't heard back, but it has only been couple of days since the OOC has up. Plus the guild was being slow during that time.

I will say, I am (pleasantly) surprised to see so many people chose to make Haven-aligned characters. I was worried that, given the overview, people would have a difficult time wanting to empathize with Haven as opposed to Fanewick. Glad to see that is not the case.

It isn't that hard to see why the Havenites did what they did. They found themselves in a bad situation as result of choices made centuries prior. A situation that left them with few options and no good ones. So they took what they believed to be the least bad option.

I have an idea for a connection between Pepper and anyone from Fanewick if either of you are interested (and if the DM is okay with this. ^^")

I was thinking that the Book in Pepper's inventory "The Book you're trying to translate", is a family heirloom. She was given this book before she left to find the cure, and was told to take great care of it. Naturally, she would be curious about the book and work to try and translate it on her own time.

She doesn't know the contents and the history behind the book: Pepper's wizard ancestors received this book after somehow saving the life of a Fanewick resident. Perhaps the Fanewick resident was Arnannel himself, or a relative of his, or somebody else he knows.

Dimple could have seen this happen, if not know the Brevil ancestor himself, and maybe recognize Pepper as their descendant?

I don't mind that, though that should probably be Arnannel's ancestor? Maybe his father. I don't know if it's specified in the core rulebook, but my interpretation is elves mature the same rate as human, they just live longer, so Arnannel is still young given the timeframe of the war.

Though he obviously encountered a lot of travelers, the arrival of one of the far-wandering members of the Road Court was often an occasion for the guards to gladly offer food and lodging in exchange for stories of what was happening in the wilds, which were sough after both for practical purposes and for entertainment. Hasdrubal has vivid memories of being a child and watching one of those wanderers put on a shadow puppet show in the guardhouse, and (before he became quite so full of anger for the gods) he learned a lot about how to placate and avoid the wrath of minor deities from these visits.

You’re kidding, right? …Of course she would attend! XD

She would have learned a lot from that lecture. One lesson and a conclusion she drew from the lectures after thinking them over have been stuck in her mind.

Firstly, the use of Clank augmentations could be used in the medical field. She realized that Clank augmentations can do wonders for an amputee and improve their quality of life.

(Second point she learned) However, she also learned how the Clank augmentations extended Dimple’s life span to the point that he’s all alone. Mulling over that fact further, she ended up realizing that there is a Theseus’s Ship problem to the aspect of using Clank Augmentations on patients.

To what extent should augmentations should be used, and would that patient still be themselves after the augmentations? When should a patient receive the augmentations and at what point should they just…pass? If taken too far, the augmentations could become like growth corruption in the Fanewick.
