Cassandra was born and raised on the planet of Reach, both of her parents were both in the navy growing up as a child she didn't spend in on place for to long due to constant traveling. She was around ten years old when the Human-Covenant War broke out, when she turned eighteen years old Cassandra decided to join the marines. She was deployed on a few missions against the Covenant on a few fronts. After awhile she wanted to join the ODST's, after several long months of training she was an ODST. Then the Covenant found Reach and helped civilians evacuate cities like New Alexandria, when they gave the order to retreat when they knew Reach was going to be lost they retreated and were ordered to fall back to Earth.
Then in October of 2552 The Prophet of Regret and his small fleet found Earth, there she was assigned to try and attack Regrets carrier, when he fled from New Mombasa. Her entire squad was killed when the carrier jumped into slipspace except for her, her pod crash landed just outside of the city. There she met a group of marines as well as armed civilians and fought against the Covenant occupation before being reassigned to fight in Voi where the Prophet of Truth landed the Forerunner Dreadnaught the Anodyne Spirit where the portal to the Ark had been uncovered. Then the Flood Infected Covenant ship flew in and crashed into Voi, she was able to get out before the Fleet of Retribution appeared and glassed East Africa. Cassandra fought against the remaining Covenant loyalists that were on Earth until the war ended.
A few years after the war Cassandra was approached and offered her to join the Spartan IV program, after thinking for a little bit, she agreed and went through the training to become a Spartan IV, and went through the procedure for the augmentations. She trained at the Aver J. Johnson Academy of Military Science, before being reassigned to Anvil Station.

Tapo'Hatam served with pride and distinction during the opening years of the Human-Covenant War aboard the Sangheili ship Decisive Preservation as part of the massive Fleet of Righteous Purpose. Originally assigned as infantry, Tapo'Hatam proved an effective special operations officer when deployed against the steadily growing resistance of the UNSC ground forces. Unlike many of his allies he proved adaptable to the changing nature of the war, forgoing the more formal assaults carried about by the majority of the Sangheili in favor of subtlety and skillful removal of the enemy's ability to fight. In his mind there was just as much glory gained through the defeat of any enemy by denying them the ability to effectively fight back as their was in engaging them openly on the battlefield. His promotion to the personal guard of the Shipmaster after the devastating loss and vengeful reprisal on Actium in 2545 was one of the proudest days of his life. He felt his place on the Journey was assured, and was content to be the hidden sword at the Shipmasters side.
It all fell apart in 2552 when the Prophet of Truth ordered the extermination of the Sangheili race in reprisal for a supposed attempt by the Sangheili High Councilors to rebel against the Covenant. Like many Sangheili, Tapo'Hatam was confused and angry at the news knowing it could not be true yet unable to fathom calling a Prophet a liar. Yet when the Jiralhanae boarded the Decisive Preservation it was Tapo'Hatam's energy blade they found waiting for them. When the real truth of what the Prophets had done and the facts about the Great Journey came to light he followed his shipmaster into joining the newly formed Fleet of Retribution in turning their wrath upon those who had betrayed them. Tapo'Hatam was deployed several times over the following weeks of combat to weaken the remaining Covenant forces and provide unexpected support to UNSC forces that found themselves still outmatched by Jiralhanae zealotry and firepower.
Following the ceasefire that was enacted after the defeat of the Prophet of Truth, Tapo'Hatam has recognized the new age dawning before him and has requested reassignment to Anvil Station in the hopes that fostering positive cooperation with humanity will make up for what he views as the sins of his past. He sees humans as children playing at the game of interstellar expansion and hopes that some influence from the Sangheili will guide humanity to a future where both factions can carve out a more permanent kind of prosperity. He is well aware that old wounds still fester in many of the humans, turning the tide in the battle for their homeworld does not erase nearly 25 years of war and genocide.
However, someone must try. And in the spirit of cooperation Tapo'Hatam finds himself assigned to Anvil Station.

⏿ He enjoys unsettling those around, mainly through gallows humor and deliberate misstatements. For instance, the Shipmaster is known to ask newcomers to the station why they’ve yet to form a union or, when hearing complaints about higher-ups, ask why they do not simply eat them.
⏿ Among those rare few Kig-Yar who actually enforce discipline among his crew, Chur’R-Jev takes some sense of pride in being among those fewer still to have ever heard or experienced a bath. That he does this with a sulphurous mixture to scrub his plumage does not make it a happier experience for those with senses of smell. -

S E R V I C E R E C O R D S E R V I C E R E C O R D
Coming into existance aboard the Kig-Yar Raider Transgressor, one of the rare instances where such a usually short-deployment craft saw itself underway for several years before returning home, Chur’R-Jev - then merely Jev - would have a fairly normal ‘childhood’ otherwise. Like any good member of his people, he dreamed of becoming a pirate, of growing his own wealth and, to a lesser extent maybe, the wealth of his clan. He would take the first opportunity that came, joining the raider Contemptuous as general crew. While not suborned to the Covenant, the vessel’s Shipmistress had connections there and they soon joined the most righteous fight against Humanity. The idea was, of course, that they might be able to go about, to collect technology or systems or simple material wealth, that they could perhaps even board a few of the human vessels.
That period was as difficult as it was profitable. Jev suffered under the Shipmistress, cruel and harsh as she was, and they encountered dangers few Kig-Yar would be happy of weathering. The ships that she had intended to board turned out to be universally hot glowing rocks of sheer metal, leading to more adventures on the ground than could otherwise be desired. They would often find that some bases, despite their outward appearances, could still have a reasonable number of flesh aboard that was still willing to fight and such humans knew the terrain better than expected. It was harsh, dangerous, and after a few months of it the Shipmistress - and indeed the majority of the crew - decided that more profitable ventures could be found for far less hassle.
Their first instance of attempts to commerce with humanity, an act inspired by the events of 23 Librae, would go remarkably poorly for the Contemptuous. Coming upon a human installation deep within a planetary asteroid ring, one they only noticed by the radiation and a vessel moving from one asteroid to another, the raider broadcast its intent and entered the field. Nine asteroids detonated disagreed with this course of action, rendering the raider suddenly dead in the water and the entirety of the bridge crew dead, to include the Shipmistress herself. Jev survived, by virtue of checking the cargo bay, as human boarding parties began to come alongside with the clear and utterly vile attempt of pirating them. The defense of the ship would be harsh, and require the unplanned explosive decompression of several decks, but ultimately was a pyrrhic victory. On taking stock of the overall state of things, by virtue of seniority Jev declared himself Shipmaster. The human installation would be immediately destroyed by plasma torpedoes, while their few lifeboats were captured.
This was in 2536, and for the next decade or so Chur’R-Jev made a good enough name through his salvation operations. They would be present for the counterassault at K7-49, staying for a good period following the battle to collect the near-entirety of Alpha Company under the assumption that they might be able to scavenge some use from their armor or sell the corpses to more wealthy Kig-Yar ‘Collectors’. The former would prove an utter failure, though the latter did find some success.
When the Prophets declared the Sanghelli to be traitors, the Shipmaster of the Contemptuous answered that call - but not as intended. The declaration of heresy merely meant that a new market had opened to Chur’R-Jev, a market of the few who were more than willing to fight to the end yet would always need the weapons for that fight. He began to immediately smuggle arms to the Sanghelli throughout the Great Schism. The Shipmaster also began a policy of salvation towards the Huragok wherever possible, noting that having a body of engineers would be more than profitable in the years to follow.
The end of the war would prove to be the end of this venture, though through his efforts Chur’R-Jev would gain notable rank among the Swords of Sanghelios. This was something he immediately leveraged to gain a station on Anvil, seeing the opportunity as one purely driven by profit - the technologies and connections developed there could, after all, lead to an even greater margin than any back home.
Born during the Human-Covenant War, Tec experience a whole new world with one of the many semi-frequent calls by Shipmistresses of the raiders as well as Shipmasters of the Covenant eager to replenish their crews with fresh, eager recruits. He joined the latter of these, not by any dint of faith, but by the knowledge that his connections and information there could lead to greater and greater profits for himself and his people. Tec would be stationed aboard the cruiser Pious Hymn, one of the many skirmishers among the lances, where his knowledge of the various Covenant staging grounds, replenishment stations, and refueling depots would garner great praise from the elders of his clan. Explosives from this locale, guns from this, these would be siphoned away piecemeal throughout the war.
In the end, he would find himself on a vessel of Loyalists to the Covenant, the Sangheili Shipmaster killed by Jiralhanae emissaries of the Prophets, and Tec rapidly knew that this did not bode well. He needed to be among his own people. As a direct result, halfway inciting a mutiny in the lower decks with talk that the Jiralhanae themselves were heretics who desired the cruiser for themselves, among the chaos Tec led a small contingent to take a secondary engineering station and detonate sections of the cruiser. Destroying most of the command decks, and the troublesome Jiralhanae along with it, they sent out a distress signal to the Kig-Yar for immediate ‘salvation’.
Following this deed of some ignobility, Tec caught the eye of a Shipmaster Chur'R-Jev. He would be accepted on as crew, given some measure of promotion, and kept incredibly close for the more interesting deeds that might be required of a Kig-Yar.
Raised on the homeworld of the Kig-Yar amid the Human-Covenant War, Nol found himself as crew aboard one of the many missionary ships of the Ministry of Tranquility, the Totality of Faith. As a result, he found far less business as might otherwise be hoped, often moving rapidly from one location to another following the great fleets of the Covenant in their advance. Through this, however, Nol would take some traditional advantage in siphoning away supplies, weapons, fuel into the traditional merchants for such, selling these things on the black market at a decent price.
The Great Schism would see the Totality of Faith renamed by the Shipmistress to Minor Expense Venture and immediately setting about to pirate various holdings of both the Loyalists and the Sangheili after completely eliminating their crew of Unggoy. Using a good enough knowledge of both sides forces and locations, supplied by loyal Kig-Yar, the vessel struck depots often after forces had disappeared on some other mission, posing as a friendly craft loading supplies for transfer to some other ship. The ploy worked extremely well, as neither side had an incredibly good track of which vessels were whose especially when such a vessel had neither Jiralhanae nor Sangheili aboard for an easy marker. The issue would disappear with the end of the war, the Minor Expense Venture setting course for Eayn with spirits high and pockets full. The Shipmistress had decided to retire early, after all, and the crew were free to largely go where they wished.
Nol would join the crew of the Contemptuous as a result, displaying a degree of cutting and willingness to talk that caught the Shipmaster’s interest and eventual, personal recruitment to be a close aid. Since then, the Kig-Yar has been quite useful in gathering information here or there, both willing and otherwise.
Lucy Holden, born of Jacklyn Holden-Merritt and Frank Merritt, sister of Connor Holden. Born on an ONI base infirmary due to her mother not taking maternal leave from her security position at the base, workaholic that she is. Followed in her older brother's footsteps and joined the UNSC at the ripe age of 18. Assigned to Marine Corps in 2548. Showed exceptional aptitude in hand-to-hand combatives as well as knife-fighting. Participated in many "low-intensity" engagements with Covenant forces. Promoted to Lance Corporal by the time she was sent with her division to Paris IV. Engaged Covenant in pitched battle with her platoon despite being outnumbered and outmaneuvered.
At some point, Lance Corporal Holden abandoned her post to investigate a nearby ONI building under the supposition that her mother had not been evacuated from it yet. Entered building alone. Encountered Covenant black ops team. Engaged a Sangheili in a knife fight which left her scarred and wounded before being rescued by Sierra assets assigned to torch the building. After this incident, First Lieutenant Grace Cross recommended Lance Corporal Holden for transfer to the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. In spite of her attitude problems, the opportunity was granted. Lance Corporal Holden has served faithfully in the ODSTs ever since, seeing action in the Battle of New Mombasa when assigned to the UNSC In Amber Clad and the subsequent battle on Installation 05.
Lance Corporal Holden returned to Earth with Sergeant Major Avery Johnson after escaping the surface of Installation 05 with assistance from former Covenant aligned forces. In the midst of what has become known as "The Great Schism" that saw the Sangheili ally themselves with humanity, Lance Corporal Holden was able to take advantage of the situation and link up with friendly forces. Lance Corporal Holden has refused to make mention of the Flood parasite during her time on Installation 05, but it is highly probable she has encountered it.
After the end of the Human-Covenant War, Lance Corporal Holden was promoted to Sergeant and then subsequently demoted and discharged from the UNSC Marine Corps due to problems with authority. In light of recent events in the galaxy and the dire need for more good soldiers, Lance Corporal Holden has been forcefully reactivated and once again assigned to the ODSTs. ________________________________________________________________________________________

Kajina Yates was born and raised in New Mombasa. Her father, Baraka, worked as a mechanic while her mother, Taji, worked as family court lawyer, leading to a comfortable life in the city. Growing up she heard all about the horrors of the Human-Covenant war, but for much of her youth, it always felt like a far-away problem. As she grew older, the realities hit hard as her childhood friends enlisted with the UNSC. Yates feared joining the front lines, so she decided to enroll in medical school. She wanted to give back to Earth and support the war effort in other ways. At twenty years old, on her way to her college, the Prophet of Regret's fleet invaded New Mombasa. War came home.
During the emergency, the university became an emergency shelter for civilians looking for evacuation out of New Mombasa. While waiting for a pelican to arrive, a horde of Covenant aliens infiltrated the holdout. There, Yates would see the brutality of the Covenant firsthand. Fortunately, she escaped the university and focused on running out of the city. During it, she stumbled upon an M6C/SOCOM (M6S) laying on the ground. Seeing her home destroyed before her eyes, she joined a civilian militia group composed of the city's police, civilians, and with the aid of the UNSC. She remembers shooting at a horde of grunts, but in the haze of smoke, Yates doesn't know if she hit any targets that day. She was present to witness both the carrier engage in slip space and the glassing of New Mombasa. Once out of the city, Yates immediately enlisted with the UNSC marines.
Once she enlisted with the marines, she received training for a light infantry role and as a combat medic. She was eager to get out on the field, but before she got out of training, the Human-Covenant war ended. A month later, she learned her father died during the invasion of New Mombasa. Her mother was still alive and could look after her siblings. With New Mombasa gone and furious with herself for not enlisting beforehand, she continued to serve with the UNSC marines.

File Number: ONI-WD-███-MN-427 Name: Morgenstern, Solares Rank: Senior Chief Petty Officer (SCPO) Branch: UNSC Navy / Office of Naval Intelligence — Section III (Watershed Division) Program: Spartan-IV Initiative — GEN4 MJOLNIR Operator Status: ACTIVE – Clearance Level BLACKNET
BIOGRAPHICAL OVERVIEW Solares Morgenstern was born 11 February 2535 in Mitte, Berlin, German Democratic Republic, Earth. Raised in an influential ONI family, Solares spent her early life shielded from the harsher realities of the Human-Covenant War, receiving some of the finest things in life. Her parents, both high-ranking ONI officers, had ensured that she received not only the finest education, but also opportunities for very highly sought after positions were available to her. Solares was placed in the UNSC Eurydice Military Academy at age 10, well known for being an elite institution reserved for promising candidates from military and political families.
During her lengthy time there, she displayed exceptional aptitude for tactics, marksmanship, leadership under stress, and others. Solares consistently ranked in the top one percentile of her class. By age 18, she had completed advanced officer-track training and was slated for strategic command roles within the UNSC Navy.
It was during these formative years that Solares’s curiosity began to push boundaries of what was acceptable. Unsatisfied with the controlled flow of official doctrine, she conducted her own independent research into UNSC operations, history, classified conflicts, and even going as far to learn about Project Orion. In the process, she uncovered restricted information—details about covert ONI actions, failed missions, and questionable wartime policies that she was never meant to see along with the mention of something considered a “biological infestation" aboard derelict ships and remote colonies. Though fragmented and vague, the data hinted at something far more dangerous than any Covenant threat she’d been briefed on.
Within hours of the breach, ONI Section III operatives, posing as standard UNSC Military Police, detained her without formal charges. She underwent exhaustive interrogation, psychological stress testing, and invasive neural scans to assess the scope of her unauthorized knowledge. Official records note a severe reprimand and a direct warning: any further infractions would result in her transfer to “Black Iron Prison,” a name she would later learn belonged to a covert ONI detention facility on Europa, used for high-risk individuals kept permanently off-record.
For six months, Solares was held under constant observation, subjected to controlled misinformation designed to test her reactions and loyalty. Upon completion of this evaluation period, she was quietly reinstated at the academy, resuming her officer-track training under heightened surveillance.
INCIDENT: BLACKSTAR FACILITY During the final phase of her officer training at the UNSC Naval Academy, Solares’s parents were killed in a Covenant infiltration and sabotage of the Blackstar Facility, a classified ONI black-ops station in Earth’s orbit. The strike, later attributed to an internal data breach, allowed Covenant forces to bypass security protocols, disable the station’s gravity stabilizers, and overload its core power systems. The resulting detonation was brief but devastating, tearing through the station and leaving little behind.
Public reports described Blackstar as a civilian research installation, a cover story that Solares initially believed. It wasn’t until an old family friend, and an ONI operative of very high ranking delivered the truth in private that her parents had been upon the station. She was devastated by the news, but quickly channeled her grief into determination. Inspired by her parents’ service and sacrifice, Solares resolved to become a Spartan, dedicating herself to the rigorous training and intense operations necessary to protect humanity from threats both seen and unseen. Her resolve only strengthened, she vowed to carry on their legacy and prove herself worthy of the clandestine path they had walked.
SPARTAN-IV INDUCTION In 2███, Solares was inducted into the Spartan-IV Program, an evolution of the Spartan-IV initiative. Designed for maximum operational adaptability, Spartan-IV augmentations balanced physical enhancements with cutting-edge neural integration, allowing seamless MJOLNIR GEN2 interface and advanced tactical toolsets. Solares excelled in demolition operations, infiltration, assassination, psychological stress, weapons handling, CQC, extended-duration stealth deployments and many others.
Her training record shows particular distinction in:
ONI SECTION III — WATERSHED DIVISION Following her Spartan-IV graduation, Solares was assigned to ONI’s Watershed Division, an elite subsection specializing in ethically complex operations. Officially, their existence remains classified to all but high-clearance ONI and UNSC personnel. This decision was due to her knowledge of highly classified topics due to her past actions, who her parents where and what they had done for her, their family friend, and a hand full of other factors that turned important heads.
Missions under her purview have included, but are not limited to:
Operation Silent Quarry: Elimination of a known human terrorist, who had been feeding information to the Covenant.
Operation Ember Veil: Orchestrated civil destabilization in a rebel-held colony to weaken Insurrectionist recruitment lines.
Operation Fractured Glass: Covert demolition of a hostile orbital drydock, disguised as an industrial accident.
Operation Fading Star: Assassination of rogue Spartan(s)
Operation Cleansing Fire: Eliminating a highly dangerous UNSC scientist known as Kroeber who had been running unethical biological experiments on █████ and others. Reports say Solares ████ ███ ██ ███ ███████, by opening the ████ and allowing the ███████ to ███ Dr. Krorber █████. Video from mounted camera confirm that ███████ ███ ██ ████ did indeed happen. She underwent a psychological evaluation, held after the mission concluded. When asked why she had to ████ him, her reply was, "All I did was unlock a door."

Her approach often involves calculated unpredictability, controlled chaos, to achieve psychological and strategic superiority over the target, with a healthy amount of violence of course.
