-House: Reavenclaw -Nationality: Uruguay -Wand Wood and wand core: Chestnut wood and veela hair core but prefers wandless magic. -Favorite class: Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures -Patronus: Southern lapwing -Boggart: Spiders -Relationhips: None yet -Pet: Quintus (Stygian owl) -Biography: Catalina is a muggle-born, as well as her parents she was unaware of her magical abilities until she turned eleven when she received a letter to join Castelobruxo, the brazilian wizarding school. Ever since she joined she has shown interested in magizoology and dreams of writting her own books about magical creatures . A curious and adventurous girl, she spent most of her summer vacations traveling around South America looking for creatures but also had time to attend the muggle's summer school. She signed for the exchange program and was accepted to course her last year at Hogwarts with hopes of learning more about european magical creatures. Due to the age gap and the geographical distance, for her as well as other students of her generation the stories about Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters sound more like old tales to scary students. She has reached some sort of "balance" between what both the wizarding world as well as the muggle world have to offer. She treats both muggles and magical community by equal despite she has been target of some discrimination.
Dusty was born into a lower class Cockney family, and pretty much grew up with untrustworthy groups of people, who he all called "brothers" and "sisters", he was loyal and kind to those around him, including his real family back at home. Originally wanting to go to the army when he grew up, Dusty changed his mind and was soon accepted into Hogwarts when he was around 11 years old. He's seen some things during those years, but overall, he has the best group of friends around him.
Full Name: Sienna Nessa “Ness” Hanvey House: Hufflepuff Nationality: Irish Wand: 15”, Willow (Womping), Abraxan hair, Slightly yielding Favorite Class: Care of Magical Creatures Patronus: Incorporeal Boggart: Professor Emilius Shrout-Tebaum (Temporary Professor of Potions, Now retired) Biography:
Born in an unincorporated segment of land in the Irish countryside to a pair of hedge witches who gave credence to that long tradition, Ness would show a strong magical bent early on in life. Even as a kid before experiencing any education, when angered, when happy, when panicked, things would simply happen around her. Ness's parents would know what was happening of course, being longstanding witches themselves, and soon coming to the rescue with counterspells and repairing whatever might have broken, but the number of such incidents if Accidental Wandless Magic would put a seed into their minds.
Ness would, at the age of six, begin learning hedge magic and wandless casting from her parents. Guided by books and teachings made long before wands had turned the fashion, often in the most obscure of Gaelic dialects, she learned a number of methods in magic, conjures and invocations. Her parents, aware of the limits of middle schooling, would also begin teaching the basics of education. Writing, Reading, basic mathematics, geography, these would also be gone over with some degree of outdated information. Ness would excel in some of these, her reading especially so, and grow more than passable in wandless magic.
She would also accompany her parents in their occasional travels around the country, at one point attending a small gathering of Irish witches at Derryoober Bog where she would approach an old Womping WIllow. Picking up one of the fallen branches, as the willow was busy defending itself from a flight of birds, Ness brought the branch to a wandmaker who was among those in attendance. The man was overjoyed, considering that few were willing to bother such a tree, and by the end of the week Ness was handed a wand carved from that very branch. Her father was proud as could be, and boasted of the event often, while her mother was a bit more severe. It near-became a running joke by her father that Ness would bolt for the first Womping Willow she saw, though quickly the joke died down.
Altogether it had gone beyond her parents’ wildest hopes, though soon enough Ness was off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and soon enough after that Ness decided that Hogwarts was altogether not the place for her. The castle was drafty, uninviting in its size and cold stone, full of strangers who jabbered and ghosts who gossiped, and of the teachers she found most to be cold, unfeeling folk who taught strictly. She would get in trouble on several occasions as a First Year, from using disallowed spells while practicing to sneaking out from the castle at night to camp out in the near countryside. As a result, the young girl found herself in detention, and the company of the Groundskeeper, far more often than most. It took some time for her to settle into the rhythm of the school, struggling as she was in interacting with the more worldly wizards, but eventually Ness found herself with a small group of friends from similar hedge backgrounds.
In time, Ness would garner a reputation as an outdoors witch whose sense of invention and ‘rules breaking’ countermands general Hufflepuff tenets, at one point carving a flying charm into her shoes, at another spending a week camping in the Forbidden Forest, and lastly declaring as a pet a Kneazle named Oisin while a Second Year. The Irish witch's skill at duels, however, has been not at all in question, using a number of more dirty tricks as often as not.
-Full name: Zoe Quinn -House: Hufflepuff -Nationality: Irish Canadian -Wand Wood and wand core: Pear wood with a Dragon Heartstring core, and quite bendy flexibility -Favourite class: Transfiguration -Patronus: Deerhound -Biography: Her father, a wizard devoted to magical studies, instilled in her a respect for tradition and self-discipline. Her mother’s Irish heritage brought storytelling, music, and a deep love for the outdoors into her upbringing, shaping her into someone who values both intellect and heart. Zoe grew up on tales of loyalty, honour, and standing up for what’s right. While her parents prized composure and tradition, they also taught her that bravery doesn’t belong only to Gryffindors. Her Hufflepuff nature doesn’t manifest as passivity, but as strength born from loyalty, empathy, and a refusal to let injustice go unchallenged. At Hogwarts, Zoe quickly earned a reputation as someone who could be trusted, the friend who would defend you quietly, yet fiercely, who notices when someone is struggling, and who always has your back.
-Full name: Hye-Jin Choe (written as Choe Hye-Jin, Hye-Jin is given name). Has accepted people calling her 'Chloe' as its easier to say -House: Slytherin -Nationality: Korean -Wand Wood and wand core: Red oak wood with a Dragon heartstring core. The handle has blackened slightly, which cannot be cleaned off -Favorite class: Defense against the Dark Arts, Care of Magical Creatures (a secret love) -Patronus: Oriental Dragon
Hye-Jin's relationship with other students started off extremely frosty and she made more enemies than friends, however over time she started to warm to others and by the end of her time as a sixth-year she seemed to have finally accepted both her place and the school.
-Pet (one): Large northern Hawk Owl -Biography: Hye-Jin is a transfer student that moved to Hogwarts three years ago as part of an agreement between Hogwarts and The Fenghuang school of Witches and Wizards to help rebuild relations that had started becoming more sour, with a concern that the Chinese wizarding world (which had a heavy influence over many of the east ascian schools and bodies) was beginning to make itself more secretive again. She arrived with what can only be described as a massive chip on her shoulder. Being from a noble pure blooded Korean family with a long wizarding history, she felt insulted that she had to be sent to what she felt was an inferior school compared to the previous school (despite it being her parents idea with the legacy that Hogwarts had) and being singled out (despite a handful of students being picked), and she couldn't even speak English at the time relying entirely on a necklace given to her by her parents to translate. This attitude alienated her from others almost immediately, not helped by the fact her wandcraft was at an extremely high level for one so young not to mention her aptitude for wandless magic (which was picked up from an early age then honed in advanced classes at Fenghuang) which was not taught at Hogwarts which she had initially used to prove she was better than others.
By the end of her initial year at Hogwarts she had top marks across nearly every class, and the ones she was close to failing she refused help and managed to just scrape by, albeit with a concerned note from teachers as while her wandcraft was incredible her broomcraft (which despite being optional as she wasn't a first year she was enrolled into) was dangerously poor and her disinterest in herbology got her in trouble frequently. In her second year though she started to thaw a little. Whether this was due to being taken to a side and told firmly to shape up, her parents disciplining her for the appearance she gave of her home and previous school with her actions or simply seeing that there were students at Hogwarts that weren't beneath her nobody can say for sure. However, she also wasn't relying on her necklace for translating quite as often having now learnt english well enough to community properly which helped make her seem less robotic, and she became slowly more approachable especially from people who seemed to take an interest in the many magical creatures. A class she thrived in, and secretly adored even though she would never admit it (but it was obvious to anyone that watched her around said creatures for any amount of time).
Her aptitude for brooms still did not improve however, and after her second full year had finished she enrolled on the advanced Apparition class over the winter, again proving a natural to this as she did with any form of spellcraft. Once she finished this course, despite being advised otherwise, she dropped her broom lessons calling them 'archaic' and unnecessary in the 21st century.
Chloe (as people have taken to calling her now shes become at least approachable if not friendly to others) is an average height girl with a normally direct way of speaking. She acts proud and will often say what she thinks, but those who have gotten to know her have learnt its from a place of heavy expectation placed on her by parents. When she is nervous she's prone to playing with her necklace, especially if it's something she doesn't understand, but her love of animals shines through whenever she's around them. However, the girl returns for her final year oddly reserved and nervous after a magic related incident over the school break that isn't being reported in detail due to lack of information but caused the death of both of her parents. The only thing teachers in Hogwarts are being told is to 'keep an eye on her', but it is rumoured that the headmaster is aware of the incident and some Aurors from the UK have been dispatched to Korea to assist in whatever happened. It's impossible to not notice the physical change though, with her previously pure black hair now seemingly stained white in parts.
Has a wand of willow tree wood with a kelpie hair core
Favorite Class: Herbology
Patronus: Phoenix
Boggart: The spirit of his little sister, his little sister used to torment him so much, and now, it's gotten worse ever since he pushed her in front of a moving train...
Enemies with Dusty Appletree, none with other students
Pet: female faerie dragon named Ogy
Seamus grew up in an upper-middle class family in Ireland, he had 8 siblings, one of whom was his little sister Kora, who got all of the attention, and Seamus often found himself comparing himself to her, and when Seamus had enough of Kora's torments, he took her to the traintracks where his family lived nearby and pushed her on them, and then the train ran over Kora. Kora's ghost has since haunted Seamus wherever he went, and he did everything to get rid of her spirit, doing rituals to trap her spirit in some rock so he could throw it down the river, but alas, it was no use. Seamus was accepted into Hogwarts at age 11, the year after he pushed Kora in front of a moving train, and has since then, grown comfortable there, sure, he made some enemies (his greatest, Dusty Appletree), but also made some friends among those in his Slytherin house, and a couple in Ravenclaw.
-Full name: Lauren Millie Austen -House: Slytherin -Nationality: Half English and Half Irish -Wand Wood and wand core: Beech wood, phoenix feather, 12 and 3/4 -Favorite class: Potions and Charms -Patronus: White Swan -Boggart: A deep, profound darkness that talks to her, but nobody else can hear it. It whispers with different voices, everything a critique or something awful, everything ringing far truer than it shoud
None yet.
-Pet: Sky, the cutest and most intelligent burrowing owl you'll ever find -Biography: Lauren has been a hit in Hogwarts since the first moment she started her classes. She was a muggleborn, something quite uncommon in the serpent house, but her well-off family and easy charisma let her play her cards more than right for that place. Coming from an important family that was far more focused on keeping appearences than real love, Lauren's abilities go beyond academic, having the soul of a politician, and more than enough intelligence to make a good career out of herself.
Back at home, before knowing she was a witch, her time was always occupied with something. The best tutors, piano and violin learning, sports training, and more than enough protocol to bore a king. Now that her life was full of magic, her schedule was just as full: less than optimal performance in her classes wouldn't be allowed at home, keeping to the top of the class in most of her courses, Quidditch now taking her sports time, playing as Chaser, and her violin still wrapped in her chest every year. Apart from that, she gets herself into every group or club that raises her attention, her mother's teachings always in her mind: "Make sure to have friends everywhere. Even in Hell"

FAVORITE CLASS
Geoff's favorite classes will have to be charms and potions, with astronomy being third. He loves being a mixologist in potions, learning about different charms to use against others, and there's something about astronomy that he finds intriguing __ especially anything dealing with dark clouds, or dark energy.
PATRONUS
Incorporeal
BOGGART
His Father, who's a death eater.
PET
None(since they wouldn't let him bring his snake).
BACKGROUND
Cunning. Ambition. Resourcefulness.
Those are three words that Geoffrey learned since coming out of the womb of his mother. It was basically drilled into his mind before he spoke his first words. His father made sure that his son was on the right side of things and never took any chances to make him see certain things in a positive light. Geoffrey's unsure when he really started to embrace the dark side of his persona, but maybe it was when his mother passed away when he was five years of age.
Hate and rage filled his poor little heart as there was no sunshine to change him, only his father's darkened ways. Geoffrey grew up hating everything and everyone that didn't don the green and white colors of Slytherin. Being in the upper class of wizard society, he started to believe that being pureblood was the only way of things, and that it should be accepted at Hogwarts.
Or build their own school to compete with any rivals.
As time went on, more hate filled his heart as his father was definitely enjoying his handiwork at play. So much so that he had offered him a Death Eater's mask, but first, he had to prove himself worthy of the mask. Geoffrey didn't know what that task would be, as his father mentioned that it would happen sooner than he thought __ Maybe at Hogwarts.
Geoffrey couldn't wait to receive his task, although his father did start to scare him a little bit. Maybe it was the way he was pressing him to join forces with the dark side, which he reluctantly accepted because he didn't want to be disowned by him. Losing both of his parents would've definitely sent him into a spiraling frenzy.
A new year at Hogwarts seems promising for him since it is his last and final year. Geoffrey cannot wait to graduate and leave the filthy school. Even though he's unsure of his career path afterward.
