Post-WW3 Partially Sci-Fi Nation RP (Interest Check)

Pretty much what the title says. It be a NRP set after WW3 and with nations and various states of chaos after WW3.
The timeline would be ruffly with WW3 starting during 2025 and ending sometime in 2039
What is the best part is that I will leave what actually caused WW3 and what happened during it up to the players. I find RPs that have player created histories tend to be more fun.

Duck, I find that having people Rp the past could just end in some guy going THIS HAPPENED NOBODY CAN DENY IT. Perhaps the year before WW3? As for example, the prologue?

Actually, this is essentially a reboot from a different forum. It worked really well there, people really only dropped hints and expanded on them later. I must note that the other forum's RP community has sort of devolved, and the people here are almost certainly more experienced. A much earlier version of this ran for hundreds of pages and never ran into any history-related trouble, despite having only a very small amount of history. And you should believe me when I say that having the players write the history adds unimaginable depth to the roleplay as a whole.

I would love to join this, with the exact same nation I had earlier and the exact same semi-unstable, possibly insane, eccentric president Fergus McClain.

Of course since there's the possibility that Earth in this timeline is radiated, does that mean we have a nuclear winter?

Im going to say that there would be no nuclear exchanges. In all scenarios tested launching one nuke will result in everybody launching nukes so at that point the Earth just be screwed due to the amount of radiation released.

Technically, the Earth would be fine, it's just the parasites living on it that would suffer greatly =P

I am vaguely interested in this, and have a nation idea I would like to use, if you don't mind me sweeping up Germany and changing things up in their history leading up to WW3 and to current day =D

I will allow you to modify history to 2014. 2013 and previously cant be changed.
Also on that note I will not be enforcing political realism, while I will be enforcing some realism I want people to be able to have fun when creating there nations. So if you wanted to you could change the US from Capitalism to Socialism within a few years.

Excellent, as this allows me to utilize my concept a lot more efficiently. In essence, I intend to bring Germany into a fascist monarchy that is highly paranoid, and exceptionally reclusive. Their part in WW3 would have likely been very minimal, though interesting nonetheless.

In all seriousness, I'm sure our ideas will be able to coexist, after all, I'm not exactly going in the direction you might think with Germany. They're more of a fascist monarchy now, going back to their roots in medieval times, and taking to isolation from all the other nations.

I found a decent name! Born of Conflict. Also since the RP will begin in 2040 you can have some futuristic technologies like lasers. However since this isn't Sci-Fi and is just Futuristic stuff like military grade lasers won't be red, they will be invisible.(Thats how it works in real Physics)

I am aware, We'd also have access to railguns I assume, since both lasers and railgun technology is being developed as we speak?
