character sheets and gm permission in roleplays

I think a tab dedicated to character sheets in a role-play would be cool. That way they're easily accessible by all, useful when the role-play has like ten billion ooc posts and not all the sheets are on the same page.
Further, I was thinking, if this happened, the admin could set permissions. Like, if it's free for all, anyone can submit a character profile and bam. If it's more controlled (especially in advanced), anyone can submit a character profile, but the gms have the option of approving or rejecting it (providing a reason if so).

Also, it would be nice if gms could edit other's posts in their own role-play. At least, if the rp had multiple gms, each one should be able to edit the opening post, to keep things updated more quickly and such.

Agreed, I like this idea a lot as well. To have a character sheet tab would make things easier for when you need to peek at a character real quick without having to look through tons of OOC posts to do so.

As an extension: Perhaps simply let users create extra tabs? I know at least two RPs that'd vastly benefit from a "world encyclopedia" tab (since the opening post is bound to run out of space sooner and later, and it is inconvenient to create separate threads for that).

- By the way, is there character limit in post? If there is, then it should be at least 100'000 characters, preferably more. I personally have made single-character posts exceeding 50'000 lettermarks in the past, and I know others who have pulled off the same... A world-info compendium of a RP I participated had 592'128 characters total...
