Blur perked up as Banner spoke to him directly, and took a small moment to think about his words before saying anything. He was also making sure to keep quiet since he didn't want to wake up Shade as she slept. "Well, I can control multiple forms of plasma. I can control fire and lightning, since the two of them essentially are plasma. If I need to, I can take in plasma like a sponge and store it in my body, but I can only take so much. With the base form of plasma, I can turn it into fire or lightning, or I can take lightning and fire and turn it into raw plasma."

Banner nodded and said "Amazing...the power of the mutant gene...simplely amazing..." He looked at Shade and said "Two wonderful examples of the rise of man...amazing..." He blinked and said "Sorry about that, sometimes I go off into my world...can you read the vitals on the machine? Her blood pressure, pulse...I need to update my information"

Blur looked at the machine and attempted to give out his best reading. "Let's see. Blood pressure is looking normal, about 120/80.. Her heart rate is nice and steady... I don't really ready these things." He sighed as he looked over at her and studied her appearance.

He nodded, typing it in. "You did just fine....she is adjusting nicely....faster then the captain did, and he was pretty quick. By tomorrow she should be just fine. So...what do you think if her? From your stand point"

Blur sighed and shrugged. "I don't really know what to say. I've only known her for a few minutes and all I've seen of her is that little episode she had. I can't make any opinions of her just yet. I just want to know how hydra got her, and why she was held up in London of all places."

Banner nodded and said " all very good questions...the one I'm having is...what killed all those hydra agents and escaped that lab. Because it wasn't ms. Shade here, that much is clear....and why now? The lab had been secure for almost fifty years...what made the change needed..."

Blur looked down at the ground and slowly removed his mask once more, fully revealing his face. "I'm not sure, but you need to remember that the forties were a much different time, a colder time. We've got global warming and a whole bunch of other things to worry about, and they didn't have those problems back then. The atmosphere has changed a lot... Maybe she wasn't the only mutant locked up in that place..."

Banner nodded, sitting down and looking at him. "Maybe we need to go back and learn more about what red skull was up too....maybe learn more of what he did to ms. Shade here in the process..." The doors opened and tony and Steve walked in. Steve said "how is she doing dr. Banner?" Banner looked at the screens and said "better. She is recovering very nicely"

Booker looked over at the two men as they walked in and placed his mask on a nearby desk. He couldn't wear it forever, and if he was going to be placed on a team with some of them, then they might was well see his uncovered face. "Maybe we should poke some sticks in her and see how she ticks." Tony suggested as he looked over at the sleeping woman, receiving a look from Booker as he sat next to her.

Steve looked at him and said "she's a person, stark. Not a lab rat. Hasn't there been enough sticks stuck into her?" Banner said "tony may be onto something...just without the sticks"

"Why not just take some blood?" Booker suggested as he looked at the three men. Tony nodded at him and began to think. "Would be a lot easier than poking sticks, and I'm sure with some anesthesia she wouldn't mind if we took some to study." He completely ignored Steve's comment about treating her like a lab rat and glanced between Banner and Booker.

Banner nodded and handed tony the kit. "You better do it....it's one of my shaky days..." Steve leaned against the wall, sighing. "Just be careful...poor girl has been thru enough"

Tony sighed as he went over to the kit and pulled out a syringe. "Great. Why have the super solder or the mutant do it when you can force the job on me..?" He muttered as he slowly moved over to the woman and searched for the nearest vein. Slowly, he place the syringe on her skin and pushed it through before drawing some blood from her.

Shade flinched slightly, her body tensing. Steve went over to her and rested a hand on her shoulder. "So I can keep her from hitting you again...even though it would be refreshing to watch" Banner smirked and said "I thought you liked doing the hard stuff Tony?"

"Yeah when I'm in a suit that keeps my bones from shattering into a million pieces. It's bed enough I'm a living battery." Tony sighed as he pulled out the syringe and handed it over to Banner. It was just about filled with blood. Tony then took a step away from the woman and looked over at Blur. "Why not let the new kid do it?"

Steve said "Because I would rather not let him get pounded on his first day...besides, I'm not sure his powers include strength enough to hold this one back" Banner took a small sample of blood and put into the computer, leaning back and watching the program work. He rubbed his eyes, looking tired. Steve saw this and asked "Doc when is the last time you slept?"

Banner shrugged and tried to think about it while the watched the program. "the day before yesterday, maybe before that. I've been busy." He shrugged it off like it was nothing and continued to watch the screen. Booker looked over to him and shook his head. "Doctor Banner. I think you should get some rest. It isn't healthy and you'll feel better afterwards. Me, Tony, and Steve have this covered."

Banner said "Even if I wanted to...I doubt I could" Steve frowned and said "Nightmares?" Banner sighed and nodded, rubbing his eyes again. Suddenly Shade stirred and opened her eyes, blinking hard. "What...what's going on...and why does my arm hurt..." Steve smiled and said "Welcome back, Ms. Shade"

Booker smiled over at the woman sheepishly and moved back a little. "Your still recovering from the changing world and Stark over there drew some blood to see how you tick." He pointed over to Tony with a smirk and Tony just sighed.

Shade sat up slowly, looking around. "Things have changed a bit this time around...I feel better though. Much." Banner turned his chair and said "Your vitals have picked up nicely. By tomorrow you should be back to perfect form..." Shade was studying him carefully, her eyes narrowed. "Seems you all are under a bit of strain. I hope I'm not the cause." They all paused and looked at each other, not sure what she meant. Seeing that, Shade looked at Steve. "Still adjusting to something new, great sense of honor that you don't know how to use." Then she looked at Tony. "The hero without the fighting spirit. Would rather use the mind then the bron. Nothing wrong with that, apart from when your need to protect those you care about moves to more then what your mind can handle. And your fear of some past event still haunts you, same with the good doctor over there" She nodded to Banner. "A inner darkness and anger burns with you...a fire that you long to put out. But your seeeing that that fire is still needed in your work. But the fears of the past and your actions are still haunting you..." Then she looked at BLur. "And you, my friend...wanting to protect and serve...but now feeling like a little fish in the ocean. But you feel you can handle it" She laid back down, all of them staring at her.
