Alex was in his room as the sun arose over the X-Mansion. Only unlike most normal teenagers he wasn't sleeping. No he was balancing upside down on a chair which was suspending on one leg. He was using one hand. "297..." He counted as he pushed hims upward. "298." He continued as the sun continued it's natural course. "299..." He had one more. Just one more and his morning exercises were done. "300!" He finished as he held the position for a moment. He took a deep breath and let himself fall landing in a sitting position on the chair. "Phew. 300 with each arm." He said as he sat and looked out the window as the sun finished it's primary ascension. "Looks like it's gonna be a pretty good day." He said to himself with a smile. Surely he wasn't the only member of the institute with a certain morning routine.

"Attention Students. Breakfast will be served soon. Be sure to be ready or you'll miss out." A mature woman's voice rang over the intercom. Storm most likely. "And don't forget those with trainin better report to the Danger Room unless you want even more over time." A gruff older man's voice then boomed through the intercom. Wolverine no doubt. These two handled a lot. They did good raising the next generation of mutants. Experience was key after all.

"Glad I don't have it today." Alex said to himself as he got into the shower. Right about now those who weren't awake were waking up and those who were? Well he wasn't psychic. How would he know what they were doing? About 30 minuted later he was out. He didn't particularly like taking "long" showers. In fact 30 minutes was long to him. Still he finished up and put on his underwear and a pair of basketball shorts. He wasn't going out right? Even if he did it was saturday and the whether was beautiful. "You can really tell it's almost summer." He took a deep breath and smiled. He had to stop talking to himself. Meh he'd work on it later.

This was just another day for the young mutant. As he heard footsteps through the hall he realized that getting to the breakfast spread was important. Sure there was a lot. It was like a buffet. But there was a lot of people. He laughed though. He could do it. He's been in the institute for nearly 8 years. If he couldn't manage this he wouldn't be able to look Wolverine or himself in the mirror. He ran out without a second though. Although a second thought would have been smart since he was barefoot, and shirtless. No doubt some would enjoy that. Some would be jealous and some... Well... They would be pretty much like him heading to get a good pick of the good stuff. Yup. Just another day for a the young mutant here at the Xavier Academy for Gifted Youngsters.

Ren was woken up by Storm's voice on the intercom. He dragged himself out of bed and walked up to the mirror on the opposite side of the room. He appeared as if he had woken up an hour ago, and had already combed out his hair. He sighed and pulled out some clothes, and changed. He never ate with the others, it was too much of a hassle to deal the attention he would get. However today he forgot to get food in the middle of the night, and had to resort to leaving his room. He attempted to at as plain as he could, and hoped no one would try to say anything. He just wanted to get some food, and be back in his room within minutes.

When Ren arrived at the cafeteria, there was already a swarm of people, and Ren tried his best to look uninteresting. However, when he approached the table and stood in a line, people began to offer their spots in line for him. He tried to reject their offer, but they insisted, and he sighed, taking defeated steps forward. He had to hurry and gather as much food as possible, before it got worse.

Chirp..Chirp....The sounds of the beautiful birds singing in the morning as she would click her clock from going off the alarm. Her hair was all messed up, she had saliva running down from her mouth as she wiped it away, her eyes mid-open, yes, she was really tired. Alison stood up and walked to the bathroom stumbiling a bit, hitting her head on the wall. "Ouch..." she rubbed it, snapping out of the sleep and closing her bathroom door. She turned on the shower and got in. An hour later, she got out a towel in her head, since she didnt want to wet her hair. And a towel wrapped around her body, she took it off putting on her clothes. She was now wearing a black skirt, with a white tanktop, mid-high white socks and black low boots without the heels. She walked to the mirror doing her hair, brushing it and making it all pretty, she grabbed her makeup, putting on lipstick. She sighed. "Let's get this day started."

Alison got starteled by the voice of both Storm and Wolvie. Good thing she didn't have Danger Room practices today. Alison nodded at herself in the mirror and turned around walking to her door and then out, hearing alot of footsteps. "Oh..." they were all hungry. She was too, she better pick up her pace because the good food would be gone and she walked to eat breakfast and saw the big line. "Oh.." she nodded and stayed all the way in the back, some were cutting but she wouldnt do that.

Austin tossed and turned in his bed, his eyes clenched tightly shut. Nightmares were a normal thing for him, didn't mean he liked them any less. He was against related to the lab, just flashback apon flashback of the experiments, of the pain he was dealt, the faces of the people he killed frequently flashing up through it. He suddenly woke and quickly scrambled from his bed, electricity sparking around his hands, his typical frightened and nervous behavior. His hair stood on end, some strands would have been damp with sweat of they weren't. His body shook, his eyes flashing over his mind before, as with every morning. He reminded himself he wasn't in danger. He woke up just in time to hear the announcement. He took deep breaths, trying to drag his mind into a meditative calming state. Like he has been taught to do.

He slowly prepared for the day, his hair slowly lying flat as he calmed down. He was much better then when he first got here, but he was terrified of water, including showers and baths. Several of the burns on his body was caused by water being splashed on him when he was in his electrified state. He quivered, deciding to go without a path today. He grabbed his clothes, jeans and a plain red to shirt, covered with a hoodie. Anyone that came into his room would notice one thing. Nothing was white. The closest to white that he had was cream. He slowly walked out of the room, closing the door behind him, his left hand inside the hoodie pocket. He didn't like having it in plain sight, due to the looks he often got from it. He noticed a guy running down the hall lacking his shirt and he shook his head, looking around slightly.

Sera opened her eyes slowly, the sunlight streaming into her new room. She sat up, yawning, and looked around the room. Her bed sat in the middle corner of the room, the head rest slid up next to the window. There was a personal bathroom on one side and a desk and a dresser on the other. It wasn't much but she really couldn't complain. She smiled spotting a small floating ghost pop into existence. This one she'd known for quite a while.

"Reggie!" She chirped, happy to see such a familiar face.

"Virginia!" It chirped back, growing more into focus. It was a small boy with light blonde hair. He couldn't have been more than 10 or 11. "Virginia, I thought I'd lost you forever! It took me forever to find you!"

"My name is Sera now, Reggie. And I'm sorry. If I'd known where I was going, I would have told you." She replied, getting up out of bed. She wore a simple sky blue night gown that came down to her knees. It was simple but pretty. She pulled at her hair and pulled it around, fiddling with the tip of it. "If you'll excuse me, Reggie. I need to get showered and dressed." She told him with a small smile. He nodded his head and vanished into nothing. "I mean it Reggie. I know you're still there!" She yelled, a bit more stern. She heard the boy huff and then leave, the sounds of silence filling the room.

Sighing, she walked over to the bathroom and started up a shower. She preferred longer showers, they gave her time to think unobstructed. Most spirits left her alone when she was showering, only the females brave enough to bother her. How must the others think of her? They must have heard her talking to herself... She shook her head, the water pouring over it. It didn't matter. They could think what they wanted. She couldn't change who she was anyway. Though... She took a deep breath and pour a helping of shampoo onto her hand, lathering it into her hair. She didn't really want them to think she was crazy... What if they said things to her? Told her she wasn't wanted? She wouldn't be able to deal with that... any of it. She closed her eyes and let the water work it's magic, washing the shampoo away. Then again, maybe here she would be safe from persecution. They wouldn't think she'd crazy right? Just because she can see and hear things they can't. It never hurt anyone, anyway.

She was startled by the voice at the intercom, one she didn't immediately recognize. It must have been Storm, the woman with white hair... At the sound of Wolverine's voice, she began to get a bit nervous. Quickly, she washed her body, her thoughts returning to what Mr.Xavier and Wolverine had said to her before. She had training today, right after breakfast. She needed to get something in her system before that rough old man worked her to the limit. Mr.Xavier was kind... Wolverine was... She sighed. Misunderstood. A smile grew on her lips. She could already tell that she'd learn far too much from the people that had once judged her. She needed to calm down and think about what she said and thought before she said it. Maybe he had a rough time of it too. He probably just wants what's best for the students here anyway. She finished bathing and turned off the water, stepping out and drying off as fast as she could, the cold air already getting to her. She shivered slightly as she dried her air with the towel, doing her best to get it mostly dried before she began putting on her clothes. She wrapped the towel around her chest and brushed her teeth quickly, checking her face and hair before walking back out and changing. She pulled on a simple white dress and a pair of flats before turning to grab her bag and wooden staff. She slung the bag over her shoulder and held the staff in one hand. She smiled to herself and left her room, on her way to the breakfast hall.

When she arrived, several people were already there, already all talking and laughing with each other. Sera managed an awkward smile, pulling at her staff as if trying to gain confidence from it. She jumped when she heard a voice behind her. Turning, she saw Reggie.

"You left me back there!" He yelled at her, clearly angry.

"I'm sorry..." She mumbled, her voice barely audible. She gave him a weak smile and went to go stand at the back of the line, her body language screaming meek.

"Ah, yes, and for the finishing touch...." Kevin licked his lips as he gently placed a sheet of paper on a skull. "Well, technically it's not that finishing touch considering it needs more work, but the paint is done. Now to let it dry," he said as he pulled the paper off. The side that had paint on it was now washed over the skull, he smirked and stood up from his desk walking over to the garbage bin throwing the paper away.
He stretched his arms and opened the door, once he did a foul smell escaped causing student walking by to jump and cover his nose. Kevin then smelled it, "Uhhh, how long was I in there exactly?" Kevin asked, as he must have lost track of time with his skull designs.

"About a week," the student said before leaving finally.

"I guess that's why I'm so hungry," he whispered as his stomach growled, "I'll go shower first."

Kevin walked back into his room and sprayed allot of air freshener, as the smell was a mix of art tools and old sandwiches. Now it was the smell of cherry blossoms, the best flower to ever exist except for the ones that provided more oxygen, but other than that the statement was true. He then got into the shower, which he normally took long showers.
Most of the time it was just him washing his hair, he had more hair than people thought. Getting out, he dried off every part of his body except for his hair. He always let it air dry or blow dried it, but since he couldn't find his hair dryer, air dry would do. He put on pants, socks, and shoes but kept his shirt off with the towel around his shoulders so his hair wouldn't drip on everything and it's creator.

He heard the voices via intercom, good, he got out just in time for breakfast. He walked out the bathroom and down the stairs, he didn't care about walking around with his shirt off this time, he would leave the dining room just as quickly as he walked in. Would probably just grab a bagel or something and then head back to his room to work. Yeah, that sounded good.

"Aw man. How did so many people get here?" Alex asked himself as he entered the room. He bumped into a girl holding... A staff? Why a... His thoughts ceased. School for mutants... Hungry mutants... This place was practically a battlefield. The staff was probably a good choice. "Sorry. I kinda stopped looking for a second." The thought of food kind of made his mind blur a bit, but he apologized to the girl right. Soon he would be in line though. Damn... Why the hell was it so long?! Did people sleep in line? The hell?! Well maybe he'd get lucky and... No... That wouldn't happen. Not to him anyway. But for another kid most definitely. This guy had been offered to be allowed up front. "Lucky." He mumbled to himself stood in line calmly.

He was behind a girl with red hair. The line wasn't too long anymore though. At least it had shortened a lot after the people moved to let the one guy get ahead. "Hey. Nice to meet you." He said to the girl as he reached around her to grab one of the trays which were just in front of her. "I'm Alex." He figured if he was gonna reach he might as well say hi. Although he didn't think about how his appearance would effect her. Or anybody else. not that he'd noticed his general appearance. He smiled. Was anybody else around? Okay so sure it wasn't the ideal meet and greet, but it was better than meeting in the danger room. Or outdoor training... Or class... He sighed. Thank god it was Saturday.

Sigh.....this line was huge. That guy who people were letting him cut in, was lucky. Alison breathed, exhaling the air as she grabbed one of the trays, hoping...just hoping that they wont get the good food. She noticed a girl with a staff and then a guy shirtless and barefooted, annnd he was right behind her. She cleared her throat trying not to look at the guy, but ofcourse he spoke to her. Greeat. She wasn't good with guys around her. All Alison wanted is to go eat good breakfast and to do something else....usually she would have trainings but thanks for today! No training! But she needed it...it was fine though, she had her invisibility power in check. Yes, in check.

The red hair girl, cuffed her hair behind her ear, hearing the guy speak to her. He said that his name was, Alex. She turned her head being nice to him and smiling nodding. "I am Alison. It's nice to meet you....aswell." she looked back infront of her but she spoke to Alex, not wanting to look at him. "Did...you forget your shirt? ....or do you not own on- wait...dont answer that. I shouldn't have asked that. None of my business." She nodded and the line moved. Finally. Ali saw a bannana and she quickly picked it up putting it on her tray. Ali cleared her throat once again and sighed seeing the line was taking forever.

Sera looked up to see a rather... built boy bump into her. She watched him as he looked at her and then her staff in confusion and then the look of the light bulb bring turned on. She lifted a brow slowly confused. What was that look for? He apologized for not looking where he was going and was soon in line. She pulled her up staff, staring at it. Why did he look at her staff? She blinked, utterly confused, unable to even tell him it was okay. Was there something special about her staff?

"Vi-Sera! Sera! So, what are you going to do today? Whatever it is, I want to help. I can, can't I? I mean... I just...." Reggie began to ramble, holding his hands behind his back politely, suddenly shy.

She chuckled slightly, smiling at him and nodded slowly. She turned to see the line moving, she'd hadn't been paying attention and there was a large gap in front of her. She perked up her head and scurried over to the person in front of her. It was the boy from before... The one that had look at her staff. She stood, holding her body in close to her, nervous. She just wanted to get food and get out... She needed to get food in her stomach before she had to go see Wolverine. She bounced around a bit, getting impatient. It also wasn't helping that she felt like the youngest in the room. She took a deep breath and looked around the people in front of her, trying to see how much longer it would be. It didn't seem like too much longer before she reached the bar.

Austin got into line, watching the people around him. He wasn't nervous or scared... But he just tended to be uncomfortable in a group of people. He spotted the guy with no shirt against and rolled his eyes slightly, wondering why he thought it was necessary to go around with no shirt. He sighed, sliding his other hand into his pocket, his right thumb brushing over where his pinky and ring finger should be. It was a strange thing, but he had mostly gotten use to it.

As Kevin made his way downstairs he noticed a line and mentally cursed himself, should have been faster. Oh well, he would just wait, plus he wouldn't get in line for his own reasons. Instead he leaned against a wall with his eyes closed, he didn't get in line because he was a freaking giant compared to everyone else here. That was, in a way, awkward. And for the fact that he had stitches crawling all over his body, he didn't want to disturb anyone by it. Maybe for Halloween he could put on green paint and pretend to be Frankenstein, a small and light chuckle escaped his lips as he thought of it. Only good way to make use of his stitches, and maybe to get free stuff with a guilt story, that was a perk. Some humans were suckers for that. Kevin crossed his arms over his chest and watched as more and more mutants came to get breakfast, which he then knew it would take forever for him to get anything. Kicking off the wall, he dropped his arms as he walked into the living room. Sitting on the couch he picked up the remote and turned on the TV just to catch static. He muted the TV and went to the menu.....He did nothing else, and kept looking at the TV as if it were an actual TV show. He knew how to get it back to cable, but he didn't feel like pressing more buttons so he sat the remote beside him and continued watching muted static.

Citali sat, as usual, infront of her vanity, just like any other morning. A brush gently running through her shiny black hair, one hundred times, just like any other morning. It was calming for her, familiar. Ninety eight, ninety nine, one hundred. All done. It wasn't like she was in a rush though, so taking as much time as she wanted, she slowly stood from her seat and began about the rest of moening routine. She'd been up since nearly dawn, already showered and made up simply, just like the way her nanny taught her when she was twelve and had just started dabbling with makeup.

Slipping on a simple green V-neck, a black pleated skirt, black leggings, and black flats. She stood infront of her mirror and admired herself for a minute, before turning to the door and stepping out. Although Citali didn't have a strong urge to eat, there wasn't much else to do. On instinct, her feet carried her to breakfast. Her face was as unemotional as ever, her eyes looking straightforward and her lips set in a slight frown. It didn't take long to get there, and she couldn't help the look of distate that flashed across her features when she saw the immense crowd that was all trying to get food, find friends, and socialize. A sigh slipped pastvher lips as she took a place in line, crossing her arms impatiently.

Finally, she got into the bar. She grabbed a few things, an apple, a bottle of water, a plate full of hash browns and a sausage. It wasn't much, like most things, but it would be enough. With that, she had no need for the rest of the line and promptly exited it. She sighed, looking around for somewhere to sit, Reggie still at her side, keeping quiet for now. There were far too any people here for her taste and she began to wonder if there were a more private place she could eat in peace, alone with her thoughts and well... Reggie. She turned, looking around for an exit, trying to remember the layout of the building as when she'd taken her tour with Mr. Xavier.

She took a deep breath and walked through a door that led into some sort of living room area. She smiled but then it faded a taller, scarier man sitting on the couch watching... She tiptoed, over her plate still in her hands to see what he was watching.

"What are we doing, Sera?" She heard Reggie asked but she ignored him, her curiosity over ruling anything else. She looked at the TV, noticing the static. Why was he watching static? Her head tilted slightly to the side, confused. Still, she couldn't stay here... He'd think her weird if she spoke to Reggie and Reggie would hate her if she ignored him. She sighed and quietly walked away, heading outside.

Like most other people, Keiri had woken up early in the morning and rushed to getvher share of food. She was chattering away to the girl in front of her, about this and that and this. It was just a good day for her so far, she had woken up in a good mood and hoped it would last today. She had gotten out of bed, taken a shower, and thrown on some leggings, her favorite purple jacket, and black doc martins. Rushing to get to the breakfast hall and start her day, she had near tripped on the way. Thanks to her own physical capability though, she caught herself within the next split second and was back on her way.

A plate with eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon was balanced in one hand with orange juice in the other. It didn't take long before Keiri found a seat.

Austin pulled his hands out of his pockets, feeling the few looks as his hand was revealed. He grabbed his food, keeping to himself. He grabbed himself an apple and a banana, waiting for the line to move forward to continue with the rest, quickly snatching some bacon but wanting something a tad more filling then this.

Alex was gathering up what seemed to be a mound of food beside the girl who's introduced herself as Alison. "Hm? Shirt?" He glanced down as he bit into a piece of toast. "Oh. Looks like I forgot it." He laughed as he continued to pile on food. Eggs, bacon, Sausage, hash browns, Home fries, etc. The pile grew quite large. Larger than most would think necessary actually. "It happens right? I mean I rushed out after bathing to get food." He explained a bit further with another slight chuckle. Though her hesitation to ask and her saying it wasn't her business. Granted it might not have been, but she could have asked. "Sorry if the whole shirtless thing bothered you." He then said after a brief moment of silence. "I didn't mean for that to happen. But anyway. If you'll excuse me." He had a small mountain of food on various plates on his tray. He needed to go finish getting dressed. He could eat in his room. "Hope to see you again soon." He added to her as he walked away. Maybe she'd follow. maybe not. Who knew?

As he exited the somewhat crowded room he saw in the living room the other shirtless dude. He was pretty big. "Hey dude. Did ya get food?" He asked calmly. He didn't remember seeing him get a tray. And he wasn't eating. He must not have. So perhaps it was a stupid question. "If you don't wanna wait in line you can have some of mine. I took a lot." He offered. Granted he'd have eaten it all, but it was good to be nice. Most of the time.

Alison grabbed fruits and then some bread with peanut butter, her favorite. Thankgod no one took! She gave him a small smile. "It's fine....food makes you do the craziest things, haha. Especially when you're hungry." She nodded and kept talking looking at Alex grabbing every food he saw. he should've left some for the others, but god, that boy surely was hungry and he looked build up! How can he look like that when eating so much? Hm. Alison tried not to think about it as she grabbed a bottle of water. "Aaand pleease, don't be sorry, haha. It's understandable." She nodded and taking her last fruit, an apple.

As she placed the apple in the tray, Alex was already leaving. "Oh...okaay." she walked around seeing all the tables in full, but she prefered to go outside to eat. Alison walked outside seeing the beautiful trees, the green grasses, the sun shining and some people walking outside. She walked towards a tree and sat down underneath it, she was covered by the shade of the tree leaves, Ali placed the tray on her lap, grabbing her bannana pilling off the skin and taking a small bite while she looked around, seeing others laughing, hugging, talking to eachother. God, she needed friends...but she was not so good making them. "Hmhmhmhm." Hummed silently and kept eating her bannana, probably all this food in the tray wasn't going to be eatened, she wasn't that hungry. But she will eat the sandwhich, setting the bannana down and grabbing her peanut butter sandwhich, she took a bit out of it enjoy the wonderful taste, swalloing the piece, she grabbed her bottle of water taking a sip. "Hmm...what to do today.." she thought, probably be alone...and go to her room.

Austin grabbed the rest of his food, some eggs and tost. Perfect for a sandwich. Without hesitation headed outside, moving and sitting down in the grass. He preferws the outside to the inside. The outside wasn't confining. He slowly ate, using his left hand differently to use the three fingers effectively as he made himself an egg and bacon with toast sandwich. He gazed around, spotting people with their friends but also a few people sitting alone. He began to eat, staying still and yawning a bit. He looked up at the sky, quickly soaking in the sun, having developed a love of it due to being stuck inside for so long.

Happy with just an apple, deciding that she would rather eat more when the crowd lessened a bit, Citali wandered off in search of a less crowded place. Before she knew it, she had managed to find her way to the living room.
It seemed empty enough, and was much quieter than the cafeteria had been. It made a sigh of relief rush through her as she appreciated the quietness. That was, before she noticed the two other males in the room. The two other, shirtless males in the room. While other girls might gawk or blush or something of the like, Citali scoffed with disdain. 'How distasteful...' she thought to herself before another thought came to mind. What if they were...oh. How lovely.
"Forgive me if I'm interrupting anything, but I belive if you two are...planning any activities with eachother due to the fact you're both missing shirts...I think it might be better if you did it elsewhere." Citali's words were quiet and measured, but still dripping with a condescending tone. Her eyes flashed between the two, trying to assess the whole situation.'How awkward...'

"No, I didn't," Kevin said as he eyes stayed planted on the TV, "Thanks for the offer, but I'm fine. I can wait until the line clears out." Kevin turned to Alex, recognizing him. He knew most people here, and by knowing them meaning he knew of them. He was more than likely going to graduate at some time, and as he got older he thought of what he wanted to do, working here was what he wanted. So he always took the time out of his day to learn of people, as he was here since he was seven, it gave him time to learn of everyone. He gave Alex a small smile, showing that he was grateful, but then turned back to the TV, but when the girl came in talking about the two planning activities his eyes widen and he quickly turned towards as he jumped up with his hands in the air. He almost reached the damn ceiling, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Nooooo! Nothing like that's going on miss....Citali, I believe? I'm just waiting for my hair to dry," he said quickly while pointing to his hair, then he pointed to Alex, "Alex here was only offering me his food meat!"
