I know some may disagree with this however i am personally finding the current HCL's power levels to be too damn high so, if i get a majority vote of likes on this comment then i'll start an HCL3 with revamped character mapping and careful manipulation of strength across the platforms so that we don't have massive fucking swarms of souls and nanites that are apparently unkillable and LIVING BLACK HOLES stomping about as big bads and instead shift gears to a sort of growth style rp. While some may not beleive this i have actually been experimenting with various rp structures and have finally concocted something with enough structure that fights between players are lessened by a wonderful nice percentage and enough free form to still retain this not being a sodding table top. if you have questions please ask however; this is the post i'm going to use as the voting board for whether or not you people want shit to rebalanced like i do so please like if you support it and dislike if you do not. i await your replies

@Wraithblade6 matt's backing the idea. we're planning on controling an hcl each one with lightweight rules (which he'd control) and then my new one with heavy weight rules

Here's the new plan, which Tyki has failed to update after discussion. HCL2 isn't going away, and nobody wants it to die. I'm not abandoning it, and it's not going to be dropped. Furthermore, there will be no HCL3, and we're not moving to a new thread. No changes will occur to this roleplay. Tyki, instead, is attempting to create a structured system and apply it to a setting with similar principles to HCL. No Primals or Daemon or anything like that, but definitely a multiverse. Also, far lower power levels. If you're interested, you're free to join, once he's created it he's sure to post a link. This is the end of this broadcast.

Alright, let me place all the peoples. [Center of the Planet] A Daemon, an immensely powerful godlike being consisting of pure energy is emerging from an alternate reality. The holes between reality are being created by Genocide in order to bring about the end of the Multiverse. Genocide has used the hole to escape, presumably to go open another one at some other location or to make this hole bigger. Either way, bad things. Characters: Asura Kishin (In the process of porting out), Drac, Bug, Mithias. [Swamps of ?????] Far off in a distant universe, a group of people has been stranded in a swamp, protecting a being called the Dark One. This being is supposedly one of the Seals of Omega, and Genocide plans to use it somehow to free Omega (the Primal of Destruction). Cosmos, who had been sent after the Dark One, was recently defeated here, but he is not as dead as they suspect. Characters: Bloodseeker, The Dark One [Ozzy's Realm] Seeking to avenge some insult to his infernal clientele, the demon lord Ozzy has drawn 5 into his personal hell-dimension. However, for unknown reasons, the entire army of Omegans has emerged to destroy Ozzy and his realm entirely. Here, the remaining members of Omega's Chosen are about to be revealed. Characters: Ozzy If you want, I can give you a list of what characters belong to what roleplayer. Currently, Teo is heading down into the center of the planet, I would presume, so if you make a post placing you there you'll have arrived. I'll wait until you post to make my post.

@Tyki I personally think having Matt make any and all multiversal threats from present to future non-canon would work fairly well too. Update: I think I'll go beyond just Matt. I know there are members of the group who will probably want to try their hand at multiversal threats. Next, here's what I mean. We have two hcl2 threads. One can be the canon, the other one can be the non-canon. This way, things can be balanced out here (if this hcl2 is chosen as the canon) while at the non-canon, things can go full shitstorm. Yes, I know it will be a bit of a hassle. Heck, we may need to make a whole new thread, but I think it'll work. I'd be happy to explain why if necessary.

Yep. I created a situation in which you people have no way out, faced with literally impossible odds. And hell, even if you were to find some creative solution, I'd just invent a counter anyway. I mean, as we all know, impossible odds are impossible, and are never ignored in favour of awesome. That's why in HCL the big bad is never defeated, and the good guys always lose. Your constant bickering is beginning to annoy me, if you don't like how I'm running things go join another rp, or take over, or whatever, but stop throwing around baseless assumptions like they're worth something.
