The fact that horses aren't safe is quite annoying. Other than that, David COULD HAVE protected his chest. That being said, I had a few chests before that weren't locked and had decent things inside. I assumed no one would steal from me as well.

The chest wasn't the issue. It's the fact that we're supposed to be able to hang up our shit, like maps and item frames, without someone taking it from us.

It disappoints me that somebody would do this bullshit on a server Giygas is kind enough to let us play on. As a previous server admin, I'll explain how this can make it even rougher on him/her.
Okay, so yes there are plugins that can log block breaks, item frames, and chests. But here's the catch. Most, if not all of them, require a MySQL library. Most server hosts charge you extra for MySQL, and it is NOT easy to setup. So whoever is doing this, you could end up costing Giygas actual money as well as even more free time setting this shit up just to catch you. Which is a real d-baggy thing to do and I hope you feel like the dick you are.

It honestly perplexes me why anyone would even want to steal shit. They're meaningless items in a game that's on a server that was purchased so friends and acquaintances could hang out and do shit. I sure hope you enjoyed potentially fucking up your reputation and friendships for trivial bullshit.

When Jorick gets on, I'll spawn in the stuff he lost. I don't think I can do anything to get Doivid's maps back. He can have some empty ones if he wants.

As for the lag, I've deleted 3 worlds I wasn't using, so hopefully that helps.

no, Rei's isn't updated to my knowledge. Kenyi referred me to it, it's called 'voxel' and looks to be based on zan's minimap.

No need, it's cool. I already made another enchanting table and I have a bunch of horse armor of all kinds. It wasn't the loss of the items that was annoying, it was the fact that someone felt the need to fucking steal them. I would have had no problem giving the person those two things if they had just asked for them.

And I lost my Infinity/Unbreaking/Power V bow. T.T

I think I may know where it is, but I can't - for the life of me - get the server to do anything more than deposit me randomly underground before eventually timing out again

Well, bunch of serverside lag so a lone skeleton killed me despite me wearing full armor. Went straight back and no sign of any of my stuff. I even wrote down the coordinates.

I guess lag is a good way to lose my best gear and a bunch of stuff I mined.
